Abigail Reynolds may be a nationally bestselling author and a physician, but she can’t follow a straight line with a ruler. Originally from upstate New York, she studied Russian and theater at Bryn Mawr College and marine biology at the Marine Biological Laboratory in Woods Hole. After a stint in performing arts administration, she decided to attend medical school, and took up writing as a way to retain her sanity during her years as a physician in private practice.
A life-long lover of Jane Austen’s novels, Abigail began writing variations on Pride & Prejudice in 2001, then expanded her repertoire to include a series of novels set on her beloved Cape Cod.Her most recent releases are A Matter of Honor, Mr. Darcy's Enchantment, and Conceit & Concealment. Her books have been translated into six languages. A lifetime member of JASNA, she lives on Cape Cod with her husband, her son and a menagerie of animals. Her hobbies do not include sleeping or cleaning her house.
A delicious Christmas novelette by one of the first authors of JAFF I ever read, and still one of my favorites. Perfect title for this little gem, which has Georgiana Darcy chancing to meet Elizabeth while she pilfers mistletoe from Netherfield's apple orchard.
Cover: Assuming that's Darcy hovering awkwardly over a lady on the cover, who is she? Where are the dark curls?
A fan of Abigail Reynolds, I was excited to see a holiday story! This is such a well-crafted story, although it only has kissing, it is hot. I’ll be having visions of Darcy tipping Elizabeth’s chin up for weeks. Time to get the mistletoe!
Sweet story. Enjoyed it very much. As always Abigail Reynolds books are great. This one isn’t long but very good and worth the read. Not much angst, which is nice once in a while.
As per usual, Reynolds has give us a lovely story to enjoy. I usually avoid novellas because they feel unsatisfying, but this one was just right. A little Christmas treat!

It was really exciting to know that Abigail was going to publish her first Christmas story. I enjoyed what she wrote for the Christmas Celebrations Anthology (very soon to be published) but this complete story is just so good. I love her complicated books, but this one was so sweet. I loved how Elizabeth becomes so close to Georgiana even when she doesn't like Darcy.
Short but sweet. In this tale Elizabeth meets Georgiana by chance as she collects "magical mistle toe" near Netherfield. Soon they are good friends as Elizabeth pulls G. from her depression due to Wickham's mistreatment. Darcy is only too grateful to witness Elizabeth do so. And the mistletoe does come into play.
This was a lovely Christmas story. I really enjoyed it. Darcy, Elizabeth, and Georgiana are at the center of the story, and there is little time spent with other characters, which was a welcome change!
