Rowdy Noble was a mischievous child, and wherever there was trouble, he was front and center. As he approached manhood, he continued to seek the adrenaline rush he experienced in his childhood and found it in the most unexpected yet fulfilling way. Unfortunately, his questionable actions put him and his family on the radar of some dangerous men. He decides to take his mother’s advice and move them to Onyx City.

Rowdy is a modern day Robin Hood who steals from the rich to give to the poor. But, in his version of the story, he jacks drug dealers to give back to his low income neighborhood. Unfortunately for Rowdy, he robbed the wrong dealer and his name is hot in them Savanah streets. Now, he and his family have to flee to Onyx City for their safety. Noelani is taking a break from dating and phuck boys and sis is livin’ her best 28 year old single life. She’s goin’ on solo vacations, brunchin’ with her sisters, spendin’ time with her two favorite little people, and just havin’ an overall good time with life. My girl said it’s phuck ninja free season all year long. All is right in Noelani’s world until she finds herself stranded on the side of the road with two flat tires. When Rowdy pulls over to help her and steps out of his tow truck girlfriend said, “break over!” 🫦 The attraction between these two was instant and the chemistry was hot. We love a bad boy with a big heart and Rowdy loves big and he protects his ladies fiercely. I was not expecting that lil plot twist with his brothers but, I ain’t mad at it. I love how Kay Shanee connects her characters from book to book. I really enjoyed His Noble Heart and I can’t wait for Russell & Rose and Harmonee & Adan’s stories. I already know Russell and Rose are bringin’ the drama so, let me prepare myself now.

Rowdy was a Rowdy Good Time
I completely understood why eleven year old Rowdy thought he needed to do his thing. Although he seemed to have a plan, he was caught in the crosshairs of a bad situation. Rowdy met Noelani and his life was forever changed. I liked his little sister and her impact on his life. Yes, Noelani made a huge difference in his actions however, I think Lil Sis was the guiding force. It's a good love story.

I see you Rowdy!! 🥰 He has had a way about him since he was a young boy. Understanding that he needed to make ish shake to help his mom and sister. Well… he quickly lived up to his name. Getting into something at every turn! When his dealings in the streets hit a bit too close to home, it is time to make a change.
Noelani was on a break from men and enjoying her summer vacation. While out one day she realizes she has two flat tires, and suddenly a ruggedly handsome tow truck driver comes to her rescue. It was on and popping from that point forward! The chemistry between these two was so hot and steamy, I thought they would risk it all on the side of the road! 🤣🥵😜
It was a good time experiencing Rowdy and Noelani getting to know each other. However, Noelani’s co-worker Kenai was in the background giving her bad vibes. This man had an odd obsession with Noelani and wouldn’t leave her alone. I knew Kenai was a bit off, but damn, I didn’t think he would pop off like that! 🤯😮
I loved the connection between Rowdy, Rocky, and Russell. It took no time for that bond to form, and they were down to watching each other’s backs. Great read! 👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾

I really liked this book up until Rowdy decided to pick back up with being Robin Hood. With some much to lose it just felt like a dumbass decision and took me right out of the story.

Noble indeed
I think this is the first story I read where stash houses were getting hit and the money stolen was basically being put back into the community. This was a pretty decent story. I’d love to know more about Rowdy’s brothers and their “connections”

His noble heart
I really liked Rowdy. He wasn’t perfect but he had a good heart and sometimes did bad things for good reason and to help those in need. I liked him for Noelani and her for him. Their vibe and chemistry was easygoing and I loved them together. I loved that Rowdy wasn’t afraid to share his feelings and tell Noelani when she hurt his feelings or call her out when she tried to run from her feelings.
This story was not without a little drama but it was an easy read and I enjoyed it from beginning to end. There are some cameos from other books from the Onyx City universe and I look forward to seeing how this author continues to interweave the characters from this world.

Rowdy and Noelani!!
Rowdy was a flawed MMC, but I loved him because he had a heart of gold. Even though his shenanigans put him and his family in danger, the move to Onyx City is just what he needed. Rowdy meets Noelani when she gets two flat tires and is sitting on the side of the road. It was insta-lust at first sight. I loved Rowdy and Noelani together. Their chemistry, passion and communication made them a great couple. I enjoyed how the author brought back characters from the other Onyx City books and incorporated them into the storyline. The drama surrounding Kenai was really crazy. He was truly delusional. This was a great book that will you want to read in one sitting.

I flew through these pages.
Rowdy & Noelani were so great. their meet-cute was perfect! 😍👌🏾
I loved their individual personalities as well as their chemistry as a couple.
They each pulled some patience outta me. Miss “Intrusive Thoughts” just about hurt MY feelings. & Mister “Can’t Stop, Wont Stop” had me ready to cuss like his mama.
But our heart to hearts & “come to Jesus” convos were always right on time. We love accountability, transparency and growth.
Cashapp & Kreep (Zelle & Kenai) were written so well. I hated them; real bad.
& Miss Kay Shanee loves to write a #TrapKing. lol

Bad boy with a good heart
Rowdy is definitely the prime example of a bad boy with a good heart. He loves big and protects fiercely. And this is applied to when he meets, incorporates, and engorges in Noelanie. She's been hurt and protects her heart but she doesn't realize how much she's hurting Ro in the process. When his past rears its ugly head, the couple is more entangled and holding each other firm. I love how he finally gets the male support that he didn't realize he needed. Their attraction is immediate and their feelings sneak up fast. Even when the brakes are pumped, it doesn't diminish their hearts from wanting who they want.

I loved Rowdy and Noelani's story 📖. Like all the books about the people in Onyx City, I didn't want it to end 💕. I enjoyed how the characters from previous stories connected 🤝. Like all the other stories, Rowdy and Noelani's story took us on a journey 🚀. From Noelani's work stalker to Rowdy's past from Savannah, it was truly an awesome read 🌟. I so enjoyed reading this book. However, I have to give back and read the others. It's cool because I tend to do things backwards.
Rowdy, what can I say, I love me some Rowdy. His name fits him perfectly. And it's cool to know that he was a modern day Robinhood. I love that for him. Also, love at first sight was on as well. He stopped to help Noelani because he felt the pull immediately.
Onyx City is the place to be.....

I loved it!
From the moment Rowdy assisted Noelani with her flattened tires, he wascgine over her. Although they progressed rather fast, it was just meant to be. Kenai was absolutely crazy and unfortunately had to be put down. literally, he was quite delusional! Having to leave Savannah turned out to be a blessing, Ro got the love of family and new friends and the couple got their HEA!

Rowdy was Robin Hood with a twist. I swear his reasoning would have convinced me just like it did Noelani.
It was that lust at first sight for me. The kiss in the store, panty melting. The brothers and how they were accepting.... The YN telling the truth, fist pump in the air. Nothing beats the between the eyes though.
Obsession will have you tasting dirt.

The plot twist?!? This was a good one. Rowdy is my typa man!!!! Noelani was tryna distance herself but he wasn’t having it. I haven’t read all of Onyx City stories but i don’t feel like i was missing anything.

this book was a good time
I like that in this book the woman wasn’t scared or shy. Noelani started flirting and knew she wanted to ride Rowdy. Rowdy lived up to his name. I couldn’t believe Kenai was the one that put Rowdy in the hospital. That shocked me. I enjoyed this story.

This was a good read. Gives instalove but the Fmc struggled with just letting things flow. They named that man Rowdy and he’s living up to his name. He don’t play bout Noelani. There’s some drama going on but I was invested. I would recommend.

Rowdy was running. He may not have thought he was running but baby he ran. He found out that the person you aren’t looking for will find you. It was hard and fast and I loved every minute of it.
