Ragefluencers

Rate this book
A darkly satirical thriller that exposes the deadly consequences when social media influence meets corporate greed on America's highways.

Blake Rageman and Madison Malice have it all—millions of followers, lucrative sponsorship deals, and the perfect platform for their "highway justice" content. As ragefluencers, they turn road rage into viral entertainment, using military-grade vehicles to hunt down traffic violators while livestreaming every takedown to their devoted audience.

But their world of manufactured outrage and algorithmic violence begins to crumble when a routine "educational content" session goes horribly wrong.

Get ready for the ride of your life—because in this America, everyone's just one violation away from becoming the content.

RAGEFLUENCERS delivers high-octane action wrapped in razor-sharp social commentary about influencer culture, corporate manipulation, and what happens when we gamify human violence. This explosive debut will make you question everything you think you know about social media, justice, and the price of entertainment.

Perfect for fans of Black Mirror, Ready Player One, and The Hunger Games

A cautionary tale about influence, accountability, and the deadly price of viral fame.

Full disclosure: I received a free Kindle copy of this book in a Goodreads giveaway in return for an unbiased review.

This book styles itself as a satire of influencer culture. I am not familiar enough with that culture to say whether it succeeds as satire, but it’s certainly a parody of the action/thriller genre with an influencer flavor. I personally feel it would have resonated better with a lighter touch, and more development of the ‘before’ part of the story. It’s a novella which might do better as a novel.

Honestly, I don’t have a picture of what Madison and Blake thought the world was like before their disillusionment, or even what Madison’s ‘perfect’ manicure or wild fashion looked like.

Enjoyable as far as it goes, but it could have gone further.
