This was the last book of the series to read for the Book of the Month.... I was just going to read the first five volumes and go back to reading it later when all the volumes are out... but with THAT cliffhanger ending, there is NO possible way!! I immediately checked out the remaining 5 volumes that are currently out and will read them.
This has been my favorite volume so far. A lot of stuff was happening and it was exciting and interesting. I can't wait to see what happens in volume 6!
Lawrence has to find a way to work off the debt that he has and comes up with an idea. Holo continues to steal the show and has some great moments in this volume. The art felt a step above in this volume as well.
Absolutely gripping. This volume follows up on the cliffhanger from book 4 and also gives us a good deal of development between our main duo. Norah continues to be an interesting character with a hint of mystery to her and I'm excited to see where her story leads.
It ended on an amazing cliffhanger that simply made me want to read more, of course I resisted to actually get some sleep before work, but it was fantastic. There was a lot more economics in this book compared to others (Not the most economic thought) and much more character building for Norah, who personally I have grown to like a lot more. I do hope to see more relationship development though between Holo and Lawrence.
Good volume and storyline, I like the characters, Norah is lovely and I am excited to see how she will interact with Holo in future. This volume had a good pace and I liked the illustrations. Very enjoyable and easy read.
Nossa a emoção veio com tudo no fim dessa parte. Correndo para ler a próxima parte, pois sem terminar essa crise de adrenalina sem chance de dormir hoje. kk #BoraLer. #AmorPorMangá.
my personal reaction of the light novel spice and wolf by Isuna Hasekura, was the plot that was put into the story. I liked how a traveling merchant (Craft Lawrance) gets stuck with the God of the harvest (Holo) . And how they cooperate to make money buy selling items such as furrs. But the thing that I don't like about the story was when Lawrence and Holo had faced financial ruin, and they had to try to get enough money to pay back a debt Wich had a dead line was in two days. when I got to this part of the book I was thinking that this must be a remake of someone else's true story of how they survived a financial crisis. I would recommend this book to people who would like romance novels because there is quite a bit of it in this novels, also i would recomend this book to people who like the trill of adventure and mysteriousness as well as some drama. Also i have to make this one last comment to the book, people who does not have a high maturity level, or have some pervertedness should not read theis book because it says in all the titles of the light novels "explit content" which means the it is recomended the people that are mature should read this book.
Summer Bingo-A-Thon: Start or continue a series. This is Volume 5 so I’m continuing the series.
I loved rereading this! We continue Holo and Lawrence’s adventure as they try to get enough good to pay off Lawrence’s debts! Do they succeed? You’ll need to read to find out!
There was relationship development between Holo and Lawrence in this volume. I loved reading the parts that were about their developing closeness! I didn’t reread the other volumes before this one and I was sucked I to the story again with no problems.
We see Norah, the shepherdess again too. She gets in on a deal with Lawrence in the last chapter...does it work out or is there danger for them and Holo? You’ll need to read to find out!

Lawrence and holo devised a plane to repay there debt. if they do it right they will be free from there debt but if they get caught they will die. the whole plane is to talk to norha and ask her to use the her sheeps to smuggle gold into the city. she agrees because the church is starting to think she is a which. they get the gold with no problem but on there return trip they got attacked by wolves. norah and holo holds them off. but the book ends with a giant howl blowing the trees and rocks and everything around.
Holo and Lawrence may have a way to get out of debt. Liking the series so far. Don't know what else to say that I haven't said already. Art is good? Check. Holo and Lawrence are adorable together? Check. Holo reminds me a little bit of Alice from Pandora Hearts, minus the tail and the ears. Anyway, good volume.
so in this episode Lawrence has to pay back his debt that he got swindled on and decides to smuggle gold in the sheep's stomach so nobody will be the wiser. I'm really enjoying this series and hope it stays fantastic.
Thanks to the events of Book 4, Lawrence finds himself in quite a bit of debt. When none of his business connections pan out in his attempts to raise money through a series of small loans, Lawrence and Holo devise a plan with a big payoff ~ but the risk...
Better than the cliffhanger part left on the last volume. Here Lawrence and Holo may have created a plan to get out of debt. They become closer and more determined throughout the book.
