I have watched as each of my tribe brothers found their human keeshlas, leaving me as one of the last still unmated. Until everything changes. Not only do I stumble across a human kit, but a single touch reveals my fated mate. In that moment, I know my path has been chosen. I will be the one to protect and care for them both.
No one will take my mate or kit from me, not even a powerful male who arrives from Earth.
Riley
The past always has a way of catching up with us. When mine does, I seek out the protection of the Tavikhi people. It comes in the form of a warrior who claims I’m his mate. The same one who found my adopted daughter after I’d hidden her deep in the forest when I discovered her life is in danger.
In order to have a future with them, I’ll need to place all my trust in Zalik. But trust is hard when nearly everyone in my life has either left or disappointed me.
Erin Hale resides in the South where the summer humidity sucks the breath right out of you. She’s mom to the best dog on the planet. In her free time, she enjoys reading about swoon-worthy aliens (and secretly wishes one would land on Earth) and monsters alike. She also loves traveling the globe and can be seen most often in any of the pubs in the UK—where the weather is much more acceptable—with a raspberry gin and lemonade in hand.
I had such high hopes for this one and while it wasn't bad, it wasn't great either. Zalik's personality goes from slightly existing to completely non existent other than his only purpose to reassure Riley every moment of every day while being completely docile. He even tells her at the beginning when his marks first appear that he is fine with whatever she chooses, including him walking away and both of them forgetting those marks ever appeared to begin with. He's so passive that he comes off a bit pathetic, the only time he shows any bit of anything is when Dane was a threat to her but otherwise he's basically blank guy number X only made to be whatever the FMC of the book wants.
That's the biggest problem with these books, the men lose their personality and individuality when they meet their mates because there is no other purpose for them and it's a bit stupid. I like the marks being a thing but everything else that comes with the mating is completely stupid. No one should lose who they are in a relationship and I feel that's all that happens in these books. The guys are only there to bump up the FMC, worship them and do whatever they want while whoever they were before the mating just disappears.
Anyway back to this particular book... The whole thing with Dane was interesting at first but then just fizzled out. All it took was a really short talk with Riley and he leaves? Yeah, no. Based on the way he was spoken about before by Riley, and his personality the first time he was introduced there is no way a man like that would just turn and walk away because some bottom tier nobody told him to. He's arrogant, entitled and clearly vengeful so this ending was lame at best. Oh but I guess Zalik and Riley needed some sexy fun times so that trumps any real story... which was also another stupid thing. Dane left them 2 seconds earlier but hey since he was told to leave of course it should be safe for some physical stuff to happen right there.
Dane does eventually come back but again, it's all so disappointing. These Tavikhi warriors are supposed to be trained and what not but Dane gets the drop on Zalik and takes Stella, once again the author deciding to make the MMC completely weak and useless. He's not even the one to rescue her or kill Dane, no the great Bohnari show up and stop his ship and of course Alik is the one to save the day. And then to make matters worse, once again the FMC goes all drooly heart eyes over how good looking they are. 🙄. Really does show that in the human/Tavikhi warrior matings, only the men are completely devoted to their mates, while the humans still have wandering eyes. It's honestly getting annoying at this point and I think it'll be a long while before I go back to this author.
Also Jodah losing his parents while understandable because his dad wasn't in great shape felt more like filler than anything meaningful and it's a shame really.

I loved this heartwarming, alien-human, fated mates, healing romance. With the perfect mix of humor, love, real life issues, painful pasts, spice and good world building, this story had me feeling all the things. Zalik is a Tavikhi warrior and one of the tribe’s scouts. He has always wanted to be a father but has yet to find his keeshla. Riley is a human woman who fled to Tavikh with her pregnant best friend, Lara. When Lara dies in childbirth, Riley becomes Stella’s mother. When she learns that the man they fled from is coming to Tavikh, Riley leaves Stella in the forest to be found and cared for by the Tavikh and their human mates. When Zalik finds Stella he knows he is meant to be her father and when a later encounter with Riley ignites his soul light, it makes his family complete. To get to their HEA, there will be baggage unpacking, trust giving, truth telling, and leaps of faith especially for Riley all while there is danger from a powerful human. I loved the way together Zalik and Riley find the sense of home and family they were both looking for and the gentle way the Tavikhi honor life and death. We all need a Tavikhi warrior with their love, kindness and faithful steadiness. 4.5 stars.
Another really great book in this series. I will say that this is a little bit different as it deals with the sensitive topics of maternal mortality/death of a friend so close she’s a sister. So please protect your mental health.
We open up with our MMC coming across a human baby in the middle of this alien forest. Our big hearted alien has always wanted to be a dad and readily rescues the newborn and takes care of them. We find out that the FMC is in danger and promised her best friend that she would always take care of her baby.
Our two characters meet and they are fated mates. I will say that she doesn’t really resist which is a little refreshing. Sometimes in these stories there’s a lot of friction between the human and the alien but with this one she appreciates how much he’s taken care of her daughter, and protected them from the outside danger.
As always, he is down bad for our girl and it was really nice to read how much he loved the baby also. Overall, this was another really great quick read I would recommend it if you like single dads, alien lovers, and a little bit of danger.
4,5/5 I loved the story, the complicated topics, and love this universe so much. Can't wait to finally see Daveel mated if he wants to ofc (probably the last one (T-T)), would love to see Tavikh woman/human man pairing (since there's still unmated women in the village), explore Bohna more (in the other series) and also the Krijese (be cool to see another warlord vision since Kala was already very partial to humans because of Sage and his son).
Zalik was adorable and romantic and flirty AND a really involved father, loved their domestic intimacy, but it felt a bit like he didn't have any passion or hobbbies outside of being a father and mate. I'm happy for him because that's what he wanted and the main point of the story, bur it felt a bit like he erased himself to profit his family, not saying it's a bad thing again, but a bit unsettling. I was also a bit suprised by the use of many human terms by Zalik, good but unsettling compared to previous books, while I still understand it's only natural to pick up some of friends' habits.

The characters steal your heart from the very beginning. Zalik's immediate devotion to baby Stella and Riley's courage to do anything to protect Stella is such a sweet start to a found-family romance. The Tavikh people truly embrace the idea of "it takes a village."
Zalik is completely endearing. He has always wanted a mate and to be a father. He proves himself to be amazing at both. He is kind and patient with Riley as she struggles to find her place. He embraces fatherhood with eagerness and without complaint—even when it comes to diapers.
Zalik's and Riley's slow-burn romance is so satisfying, and I enjoyed watching their relationship grow in a way that feels genuine, with them finding comfort and strength in each other. I'm already looking forward to visiting Tavikh again to fall in love with another amazing couple!!
I was so excited to read this book because I am a sucker for a single dad type of story! Zalik the MMC finds a human baby in the woods with a notes attached to her stating she is no longer safe with the humans and needs to be kept safe elsewhere and he doesn’t even question it he just takes on the roll of baby Stella’s father 🥹🥹 The FMC Riley is Stella’s aunt who had to take on the roll of mother and despite thinking she would never see Stella again, fate has other plans. Seeing this couple effortlessly fall in love was so heart warming! I really loved the way that they work together and how patient Zalik is with Riley! I always say this but this series is fantastic for people who loved Ice Planet Barbarians and I am always so excited when an ARC hits my inbox! Fated to the Alien Dad is now available to read on Amazon and kindle unlimited!
Riley and her pregnant friend Lara escape Earth and settle on the Tavikh planet. When Lara dies in childbirth Riley vows to take care of baby Stella and protect her from her abusive father who threatened to kill her. Riley receives word that he has tracked them down and is on his way. Terrified, she hides Stella in the woods and hope one of the natives find her. That happens to be Zalik, who also happens to be her fated mate. The two fight to keep Stella safe and build a family. It was a good, sweet and sad story and I adored Zalik. The end wasn’t really a surprise but I liked the way it was written. I hope this isn’t the last book, we have a few more warriors that need a mate!
Fated to the Alien Dad by Erin Hale is the latest in Erin’s rich and wonderful Warriors of the Tavikh series. It is a sci-fi fated mates romance with a HEA. This is one that will grab you by the heart and not let go! Both Zalik and Riley are wonderful characters…and little baby Stella is simply adorable. The world building is immersive and the storytelling is emotional. Once again, Erin weaves a story filled with past pain, new challenges, and suspense, while also giving you a lovely romance.
Erin Hale's newest Warrior's of Tavikh series is Fated to the Alien Dad. Zalik has always wanted a mate and kits. Out hunting, he finds a human baby and embraces his good fortune. Riley is raising her best friend's baby Stella and has news that she abusive dad is soon to arrive so she hides the baby near the Tavikh village. When the dad arrives and threatens her, Zalik touches her to save her, igniting the mating marks. From then on the two are inseparable, though it takes a while for them to feel comfortable enough to have sex. This is a wonderful story of love and found family.
"Every beat of my heart is for you and our kit. My soul light will shine for you in this life and the next."
Probably the most tender story in the series. I love that Zalik falls in love with little Stella before meeting his keeshla. He always wished to be a baba and Deeka, their godess guides their fates and sends Riley in his path,to cherish, protect and love. Even when Stella biological father arrives to threaten their futur. An unputdownable heartwarming story with the magic touch of Erin Hale.
Back to Tavikh! And this time with an alien daddy 🥵 ZADDY!
I'm always excited to see the different stories and characters Erin comes up with for this series. This was so interesting and much different than the previous books. It was so sweet to see Zalik and baby Stella form a bond before Riley comes into the picture. I love protective alien males and we get oodles of it in this book! But also a situation where she saves him 🙌
Very heartwarming and sweet alien romance. Once again I'm wishing I could travel to Tavikh and find my own cinnamon roll alien mate.
I love this series and eagerly awaited Zalik’s story. This Tavikhi warrior was a true sweetheart and a wonderful protector for Riley and Stella. I love how the baddies always get their comeuppance in these stories and it’s always good to see how some of the previous characters are faring. I’d really like to see the human settlement take a turn for the better and become a much more stable, happy and thriving community sometime in the future. They need a HEA, too. Plus, I need more stories from the Krijese..pretty please 🙏. Love your work, Erin! ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Once again, I'm in love with these men 🩷 They are absolutely perfect and such green flags with their women. It's so heartwarming that we're able to learn about Zalik and his desire to be a baba as well as learn about how helpful he has been to the other couples and their kits 🖤 Can I also just say Zalik and Riley are such freaks 😋 They match each others freak so well that it's obvious they're each others keeshla. I look forward to seeing what their futures hold for them <3
Erin Hale is back at it again ruining all human men for us with another Tavikhi hearth throb.
Did I devour this book in 24 hours? Yes. Do I regret it? Nope.
Fated to the Alien Dad focuses on Zalik and Riley. Another couple with a story that warms your heart and reminds us that found family is sometimes fated in the stars.
I really enjoyed this installment in the series. It tugged at my heart strings and made me wish I too could be whisked away to an alien planet.
Fated To The Alien Dad is book nine of the Warriors of Tavikh Series.
Zalik is one of the unmated males and when he finds an abandoned baby he knows this child is his responsibility now. I loved how determined he was to be the father and how we saw a great caring side to him. Then he connects with Riley and finally finds his mate. These two had great chemistry together and I was happy to see them find each other. Great read.
This was another wonderful and heartwarming addition to the series and this one really unfolded in a different way than the others. This is still a fated mates romance but this one comes together around a baby. With threatening bad guy, healing and romance, Riley and Zalik are a couple you can't help but root for as they fight together and work through those challenges to get their HEA. I really enjoyed this one and look forward to what's next by this author :D
Zalik and Riley I loved this story. Zalik is so sweet, a good father, and protective of his family. Riley is very good mother. She does everything she can to protect her daughter. This book had sadness but also great joy, steamy, danger, action, adventure, fated mates, great cast of characters and HEA. Definitely an emotional roller coaster that I could stop reading because i loved it.
Book 9, so at this rate, I don't think there is anything surprising when reading one of these. I like Zalik, he's so devoted. Riley's story was heartbreaking, so I'm glad the story is spun in a way where she can be happy.
Pick it up for: - hot purple alien - slow-burn - touch her and die vibe
Loved this one, the entire series was really great. Great characters and storyline. Well written easy to read Good ending. I look forward to more books by this author💖
Could this book have been sweeter? I don't think so. Maybe even too sweet for my taste? 🤷🏻♀️ But I'm always so happy to come back to the Tavikhi warriors, and in this installment, we get to know Talik, as he unexpectedly becomes the sole caretaker of Stella, a human child, until his mate, and Stella's other parent, Riley, comes into play and they navigate what it could mean to be a family.
Fated to the Alien Dad is a wholesome story with two green flag MCs, some drama, and a well-deserved HEA!
