1. His goats keep eating my Christmas trees. 2. He broke my heart 17 years ago. 3. He’s still the hottest man I’ve ever known.
And a bonus fourth reason: he bought the house next door.
When a video of Harrison and me chasing his escaped goats around my Christmas tree farm goes viral, my sister sees dollar signs—and an opportunity to meddle in my love life. Her plan to get our farm back in the black? Partner with my former best friend for a holiday petting zoo event, complete with a full-scale social media blitz.
Which means photoshoots where he's my model and I can't stop staring at him through my lens. Casual touches that make me forget why I need to keep my distance. And those devastating smiles that remind me exactly why I fell for him when we were sixteen.
This Christmas, Harrison’s goats might be the ones breaking down my fences, but he’s destroying every wall I’ve built around my heart.
And I’m not sure I want to stop him.

Welcome to Mistletoe Bay, where love happens one snow-dusted kiss at a time.
This small town on the coast of New England comes alive every holiday season with enough heat to melt even the iciest hearts.
From cinnamon-scented bookstores and cozy coffee shops to firehouse flirtations and unexpected holiday hookups, each story in the “Christmas in Mistletoe Bay” series proves that sometimes Santa’s nice list is the naughtiest one of all.
Unwrap this collection of spicy Hallmark-style novellas filled with swoon-worthy heroes, strong heroines, and the kind of festive magic that lingers long after the mistletoe comes down.
USA Today bestselling author Rebecca Norinne writes sexy romance from the heart. When not banging away at the keyboard, she is watching rugby, playing board games, or drinking a pint of craft beer.
Originally from California, she now resides in New England with her husband and two cats where she is renovating a house built in the 1700s and trying valiantly not to be eaten alive by mosquitos.
After a falling out their senior year of high school, Jeremy has spent the last seventeen years pretending that his ex best friend Harrison doesn’t exist.
Something that has grown increasingly harder to do since Harrison moved back to Mistletoe Bay, bought the farm next door, and his goats do their best to terrorize Jeremy and his tree farm on the daily.
Once a video of him and Harrison attempting to wrangle the troublesome goats goes viral, the pair are thrust together thanks to Jeremy’s meddlesome sister who suggests they collaborate together to garner more attention to their respective farms/businesses.
Their time spent together has both Jeremy and Harrison remembering how easy their friendship used to be, and old feelings start to resurface. The pair do end up hashing things out and get their HEA, although I do wish things hadn’t resolved so quickly but these two went from 0 to 100.
Their story was super sweet and steamy, and that epilogue was absolutely perfect 🥹🥹

This was another great novella in the Christmas at Mistletoe Bay series. Jeremy is a grumpy Christmas tree farmer. The bane of his existence are several rambunctious goats belonging to the farm next door. Their owner is Harrison, who just happens to be Jeremy's high school best friend with whom he had a secret relationship. They haven't been in contact for years, and now it seems unavoidable. With a little meddling from the goats, Jeremy's sister Jemma, and a snowstorm, the two are forced together. They finally realize that maybe they were both a bit wrong about the past and are ready to make a new future.
I'm excited to continue this series. The next one looks like it's going to be good!
I received an ARC of this book, but these opinions are my own. I would like to thank the author, Rebecca Norinne, and Beyond the Bookshelf Publishing for allowing me the privilege of reading her work. ❤️
This book was a perfect holiday read. In the space of a novella's worth of pages, ingredients of holiday warmth, hilarious goats, perfect sexy times, and a wonderful happily ever after came together for a terrific story in the Mistletoe Bay series. There are cameo appearances by characters from earlier books in the series, which I especially enjoyed since I read them fairly recently. To set the stage, Jeremy and Harrison had a closeted relationship in high school and have barely spoken since that heartbreaking split. Now they live next door to each other and their business ventures are somewhat in conflict, since Harrison's goats like to escape and damage Jeremy's Christmas trees. They still harbor plenty of feelings for each other, and their neighborly proximity (along with some meddling by Jeremy's sister) leads to plenty of encounters, conversations, and more. I was completely engaged in watching these two take all the steps to the relationship they couldn't have managed as teenagers. Jeremy and Harrison were so believable; I loved every page of this story.
I was given an ARC and volunteered to write a review.
Another great holiday read in this fun series! Harrison and Jeremy were once teammates, they were friends…they were so much more. Then things happened and it broke both of their hearts. Now they are neighbors…one has a beautiful tree farm. One makes delicious goat cheeses. Those goats are uncontrollable and keep ending up at the tree farm. When one thing leads to another and these two talk it out…everything change. This is a cute M/M holiday read that I truly enjoyed. This is a fast paced well written story about love, second chances and everything in between. These characters told a heck of a story and truly belonged together. I am Really enjoying this series and every story being told. Bring on the next book.
Second chances always get me and this one definitely did. Harrison and Jeremy have known each other each other since they were kids. They were first kisses, first loves and so much more. But something happened and now they haven’t spoken in decades. That is where the cute starts and the love comes back. Enjoy
Second chance romance is usually not my jam, but this book caught me in the feels. The reason for their breakup in high school is heartbreaking and finding their way back to each other 17 years later took courage to share their truths. So, grab a box of tissues (you'll need them) and start reading this novella now.
Great M/M , enemy to lovers, second chance romance. Nat as Christmasy as the rest of the series but still loved it. Can’t wait for the next one. Love that characters from the other books make an appearance
Christmas trees and runaway goats lead to rekindled romance. Jeremy and Harrison loved each other in their late teens, but now that they are both back in town owning neighboring farms. Can they work thru their past to get to forever? Nothing beats a little Christmas chemistry between these two!
A fun holiday happening. old flames reunited. Harrison and Jeremy should have been together for years, but family, and fear kept them apart till the goats invaded Jer's Christmas ree farm. Thank God, for Sugarplum and Kindle.
This was an adorable fast read. I loved Jeremy and Harrison. They were just adorable. I liked how this was also a second chance kind of story. I’m a total sucker for those

Two men ,a goat and a Christmas tree farm are all the things you need to get those jingle bells to rock around the flock tonight . Making spirits bright and all and such fun was has by y’all when you finished reading this cos this MM romance jive has some moves and the goat running around keeping things alive and exciting even though they were not inviting it in and since they got nothing to lose but their hearts . Dive right in . I’m all in for their happy ending . Awesomely compelling storytelling and great humour has me laughing out loud and swooning too . Dollar signs ,are seen when an opportunity can’t be passed up thanks to one hungry goat . Would you have thought? This now the Christmas tree farm is in the black and not in the red .
A great second chance at love romance story you won't want to put down. This was a quick read with great characters and funny moments that include goat antics. Harrison Prescott comes back home and purchases the house next door to his childhood best friend Jeremy Price.
Seventeen years ago, Jeremy and Harrison had a falling out as seniors in high school and have not spoken since. All the while, Jeremy’s held a grudge about it and isn’t happy to learn that Harrison’s now living on the farm next to what was once his parents' where he now lives. One viral post has Harrison’s goats partnering with Jeremy’s tree farm for Christmas, and finally gives them a chance to talk about the past. But what will come from bringing that up?
Jeremy and Harrison get their happy ending in this standalone novella in a series.
This book should come with a homophobic trigger, off-page and in the past, but still discussed.
These two were both so stubborn, and I wonder if Jeremy would have ever talked to Harrison about the past if it wasn’t for his meddling sister. The goats were the stars of the start of the book, and I could see how they could be a draw to the tree farm. I am glad that Harrison found his people and family with Jeremy’s family, for how awful his family was, and that he cut them out of his life. These two were so adorable together!
I received an advanced review copy from the author, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.
