Award-winning, bestselling author Sami Abrams grew up hating to read. It wasn’t until her 30’s that she found authors that captured her attention. Now, most evenings, you can find her engrossed in a Romantic Suspense. In her opinion, a crime and a little romance is the recipe for a great story.
She lives in Northern California, but she will always be a Kansas girl at heart. She has a love of sports, family, and travel. However, a cabin at Lake Tahoe writing her next story is definitely at the top of her list.

Rodeo Witness Protector continues the exciting, heartwarming Stone Creek Ranch series offering another action-packed, intriguing adventure featuring the wonderful Sinclair family. The action-packed storyline, featuring high-stakes suspense and a tender second-chance romance, had me completely invested from start to finish. Heading up the wonderful cast of characters is rodeo bullfighter and part-time deputy Daniel Sinclair and rodeo doctor Annie Davis. I admire Daniel's protectiveness and Annie's determination. 4-year-old Lily, Annie's daughter, stole my heart, and I loved her interaction with K-9 Shadow. I value the story's gentle, beautifully integrated faith thread, offering a sense of hope amidst all the danger and uncertainty. I loved this powerful story, where emotions run deep, and tensions run high. I highly recommend it. I received a copy of this book from the author/publisher with no obligation to write a positive review. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
This is the third book in the series. Dr. Annie Davis and Deputy Daniel Sinclair knew each other in school but lost touch when Annie had to move. Now she’s back as the rodeo doctor in his jurisdiction. Not only is Annie in danger but so is her daughter, especially since her babysitter is killed. Daniel and his family, including a service dog in the family, strive to protect them and keep them safe. Trying to determine who is after them is challenging and dangerous. This story is intense and maintains the suspense level throughout. I voluntarily read an advance copy. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
RODEO WITNESS PROTECTOR by Sami A. Abrams Release date July 28, 2026
This is part of the Stone Creek series. But can definitely be read as a standalone.
Daniel Sinclair, deputy sheriff, and Annie Davis rodeo Dr
Annie Davis leaves her career of emergency medicine. She and her young daughter Lily are on the run from a threatening situation. Daniel has always had eyes for Annie so he’s glad she’s home and under his protection .
This is the second chance trope. Heartwarming and there is a wonderful, K-9 name Shadow who becomes lilies savior after a very frightening experience.
Another awesome book by Sami Abrams. Once I started I just could not put it down.
Anne relocates to another town to protect her daughter Lily when she stumbles on a dying man. Being a Dr. she tries to help save him.
Now Annie is trying to figure out who wants to hurt her and her daughter and why. While trying to help the man, she runs into her old boyfriend Daniel who is now a deputy and his sister is the Sheriff.
Check out this story I think you will be glad you did.
Deputy Daniel Sinclair sees his old high school sweetheart Doctor Anne Davis treating a deputy that has been stabbed and then her daughter is kidnapped and her babysitter is murdered and once they find her daughter, their witness she won’t speak to them. This is a really good book.
A book worth reading! The Author has captured the essence of the story in its characters. Filled with suspense, intrigue, family loyalty, love and forgiveness. A little girl named Lily has already been through so much tragedy in her 4 years. She becomes the most important character in the book. She’s strong, courageous, smart and kind. She overcame obstacles that she never should have had to. I love the Stone Creek Ranch series and the rodeo life.
This was such a great book. It had a lot of intense suspenseful moments. I loved reading the story about Deputy Daniel Sinclair and Dr Annie Davis with her daughter Lily. Lily captured my heart during the book. I shed a lot of tears on her. The book had so many twists and turns. It kept me on the edge of my seat. I loved the epilogue so much. A lot of happy tears. Can’t wait for the next Sinclair novel.
RODEO WITNESS PROTECTOR by Sami A. Abrams is the sensational, riveting story of Daniel Sinclair, bullfighter and part-time deputy, and Annie Davis, rodeo doctor and a witness in a narcotic investigation, as they try to come to terms with the past, stay alive in the present and dare to dream of a future – together.
Daniel suffers nightmares from an incident when he first started law enforcement. Even when told nothing could have been done, he feels responsible for a little boy’s death. It left him fearful of being responsible for any child, much less having one of his own. His coping mechanism was to be the jokester. When Annie shows up in town, even with their unusual reunion, he feels nothing but fondness for his first and only love. His only question is why had she ghosted him?
Annie’s mom was never “motherly”, instead acted more like Annie didn’t exist. Annie had found love and acceptance in the Sinclair home and a friendship that grew into her first love with Daniel. Then in high school, her mom moved them. The communications with Daniel just dropped off leaving her to wonder why. With help of scholarships, she put herself through college and became an ER doctor. Then when a dear friend and her husband were killed, she became an instant mom to one-year-old Lily. The man she thought loved her wouldn’t accept Lily leaving her rejected again. After reporting Dr. Layton Pope for stealing narcotics and working impaired, his threats towards her and his release on bail, Annie put their necessary belongings that would fit in her vehicle and left. She headed to Rollins, the only place that had ever felt like home, to become the rodeo’s doctor. She didn’t expect on her first day there to come across a man stabbed, him giving her a key and saying three words….evidence….find….promise, and almost being killed herself, if not for Daniel’s arrival.
Can Annie and Daniel put the pieces to the puzzle of their past history together enabling them to move forward? Are present events connected to the case against Dr. Pope or completely different? When Annie confronts Daniel about his attitude towards Lily, will it lead to another rejection or the beginning of a healing? Can Daniel keep Annie and Lily safe?
RODEO WITNESS PROTECTOR is an exceptional, impossible to put down book that gives your emotions a workout with edge of your seat, adrenaline excitement to (tissue alert) tender moments. Sami A. Abrams gives us a story of doing what’s right, starting over, family, acceptance, second chances, facing one’s fears and weaves it all with a wonderful thread of faith. RODEO WITNESS PROTECTOR is a magnificent FIVE STAR book that I highly recommend to everyone!
RODEO WITNESS PROTECTOR is the third book in the Stone Creek Ranch series, but can definitely be read as a standalone book.
I received an ARC of this book with no requirement or expectations of a review. All opinions are completely my own. #RodeoWitnessProtector #StoneCreekRanch #SamiAAbrams #LoveInspiredSuspense #InspirationalRomance
This one definitely pulled me in from the get go. A female doctor (Annie) reveals a colleague ‘under the influence’ and is whisked away to work at a new location… to get away from all that’s going on now because of her discovery.
She’ll now be working as a Rodeo Circuit MD. But, as soon as she arrives, she finds a man, badly hurt and bleeding out. She tries to help him, but…is it too late?
At the same time, a brand new sitter has her 4 year old daughter at the circus… but Annie is UNABLE to reach them. 😮
It seems as she jumped from the frying pan into the fire.
And, her one old HS crush, Daniel, now seems to be a deputy in the area.
It’s a fast moving, somewhat sweet and yet scary Christian based story. And I loved it.
BUT, I did not care for the narrator. At All. At multiple times I felt like I was listening to a teenager (Annie, the Mom/Doctor) or a 5 year old little girl when she was representing Izzy, (the sheriff/deputy) … during shootouts, death and other unsavory dealings… yet the narrator made her sound like a mere child. Why???? It was just very ODD. And because of that, I’m only giving 3 stars. ⭐️⭐️⭐️ Whereas the story itself should’ve been 4-4 1/2! Sorry, but that really irked me THROUGHOUT the audiobook.
So my suggestion… read with kindle or the paperback for this one, NOT the audiobook.

~ Summary ~ A dangerous conspiracy with a child in the crosshairs. While stopping an attack near the rodeo grounds, bullfighter and part-time deputy Daniel Sinclair is stunned to see his high school sweetheart, Annie, fighting to save a stabbed undercover officer. She’s just moved back to town, taking a job as the new rodeo doctor to escape a man threatening both her and her daughter. Now a witness with crucial evidence in a narcotics investigation, Annie and her four-year-old need Daniel’s protection. The stakes only rise when the girl’s babysitter is found murdered and the traumatized child refuses to speak. Can Daniel find the culprit before a drug ring silences the family for good?
~ Thoughts ~ This Christian romantic suspense novel blends suspenseful moments with quiet, sweet romantic ones. It sounds like this shouldn’t work, but somehow it all came together perfectly. It was intense, yet sweet, with plenty of chaos, several “Are you crazy? Don’t do that!” moments, and lovely family scenes woven throughout. It took me a minute to get into, but I’m glad I stuck it out. I did wish they would stop leaving Annie alone especially with her daughter because every time they did, one or both of them was nearly killed. I love romantic suspense novels, so I know what to expect, but the intensity here still caught me off guard and made it impossible to put down. I’d figured out the culprit before the final reveal, but still enjoyed the chase, even as it stressed me out worrying they wouldn’t catch the culprit in time. This was a sweet, heartfelt, intense, and alarming romantic suspense novel, and it intrigued me enough that I’m looking forward to reading other books by this author.
Rodeo Witness Protector by Sami A. Abrams (Stone Creek Ranch Book 3)
Book 3 of 3: Stone Creek Ranch
A dangerous conspiracy… and a child in the crosshairs.
While stopping an attack near the rodeo grounds, bullfighter and part-time deputy Daniel Sinclair is stunned to see his high school sweetheart attempting to save a stabbed undercover deputy. As a witness now in possession of crucial evidence about a narcotics investigation, new rodeo doctor Annie Davis needs Daniel’s protection—for her and her missing four-year-old daughter. And the stakes only grow higher when the girl’s babysitter is found murdered and the recovered child refuses to speak. To safeguard the targeted family, can Daniel uncover who is behind it all…before a drug ring silences them for good? My favorite quote is “We’re going to find her.”
Daniel said it again, more for his benefit than Annie’s. They had to. The other option—unacceptable.
Arms crossed, Annie dug her fingernails into her skin. “If someone hurt my little girl…”
Daniel looked at her. For a moment, the world fell away, and it was just the two of them. “They won’t. Not if I have anything to say about it.”
“I promised Libby that if anything happened to her and Austin, I’d protect Lily and keep her safe. Raise her right. Now this…” Annie spread her arms, palms up, and spun slowly in a circle. Her eyes combed the area. She fisted her hands. “Where is she? Where’s my daughter?” I recommend this book. Rodeo Witness Protector by Sami A. Abrams is a 5-star book. I am looking forward to reading more books by Sami A. Abrams. I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced readers copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions shared here in this review are my own. From Love Inspired Suspense: Courage. Danger. Faith.
Thank you Sami Abrams for allowing me to be on this launch team. I loved everything about this story and the twist at the end. And I did not want to leave Shadow behind!
Dr. Annie Davis had a job that she loved in emergency medicine and a mentor that she loved like a father, and a beautiful daughter whom she adopted when her best friend and her husband were killed in a car accident. But when she discovers that a fellow doctor is stealing drugs she makes a decision that will throw her world into chaos. After threats are made towards Annie, she decides to go home.
Rollins, TX, not a place she thought she would ever go back to. Even though she had some bad memories she did have some good ones as well. Daniel Sinclair. That is where her good memories stem from. They grew up friends and then more. When she went to college and med school she would write to him but she never heard back. She finally stopped writing.
Her first day in Rollins, she finds a man floating in the river, as she tries to help him someone tries to kill her. She is able to scream which catches the ear of Deputy Daniel Sinclair and he goes running to help. Once the man is secured, Annie goes back to helping the man, then Daniel realizes who she is and can't believe his eyes. Neither can Annie. Who knew her call for help would turn into a reunion.
This is a wonderful story of a second chance love and allowing God to heal their hearts. They remained in love with one another through all of the years and life that they experienced.
"Rodeo Witness Protector" is a Christian romantic suspense. Deputy Daniel was once unable to save a child and now feels like he can't be trusted to watch over any child. When his high school sweetheart returns to town with an adopted 4-year-old, he finds that both mother and daughter need his protection. Not only did Annie testify against a fellow doctor who was illegally selling drugs, but she was just handed evidence by a dying undercover agent who was trying to uncover a drug dealer ring that used the rodeo and carnival circuit. Local law enforcement worked to figure out the evidence while Daniel helped protect Annie and her daughter.
The suspense came from the attacks on Annie and her daughter and trying to find the daughter when she went missing. The main characters were engaging and reacted realistically to events. Annie and Daniel got to know each other again as they spent time together and quickly renewed their friendship. Daniel and Annie prayed for guidance and safety. There was no sex or bad language. Overall, I'd recommend this enjoyable suspense novel.
The narrator of the audiobook did a good job, making it easy to follow who was talking and what was going on. She used different voices for the different characters and narrated the story in a way that allowed me to become immersed in the story.
I received a free audiobook review copy of this book from the publisher through NetGalley.
Wow!!!! This book was full of action and faith! It kept me on my toes from start to finish! I'd give this a 10 out of 10 if I could!
When Annie reports a fellow doctor for inappropriate use and theft of hospital grade fentanyl the "good" doctor makes threats against her and her 4 year old daughter. So she accepts a position as a rodeo doctor in her childhood hometown believing it's the perfect solution to keep her and her daughter, Lily, safe.
Annie is an ER doctor who after dropping Lily off with her mentor & friend, Dr. Todd Gregor's niece, Karly, who agrees to babysit Lily, heads to the fairgrounds where she will be working to meet with her new boss.
Not long after arriving she hears cries for help and finds a stabbing victim. She desperately tries to save him. He tells her to follow the evidence and hands her a key making her promise not to tell anyone.
When Lily's babysitter, Karly is found murdered Annie discovers Lily is missing.
She discovers her former HS boyfriend is still there and he works as a deputy and his sister is the sheriff. Izzie, the sheriff, calls in her husband and his K9, Shadow, to help find Lily.
Logan, Izzie's husband, works for a top security company and is a former Navy Seal. Together along with rodeo staff and deputies they hunt for 4 year old Lily. Annie is frantic with worry about her daughter. When they find her hiding in a locked shed Annie is relieved at first until she discovers her daughter is mute due to shock. What will it take to help Lily speak again?
Daniel has a past traumatic experience with a child from when he was in the Academy & believes he is better not getting close to a child. When he discovers he still loves Annie will he be able to put his past trauma aside to have a future with her & Lily?
When multiple attacks happen to Annie, Daniel, Izzie, Logan and the rest of the deputies must keep Annie & Lily safe while trying to figure out who is behind the smuggling of hospital grade Fentanyl in not just their county but multiple states from Mexico.
When someone breaks into Annie's office while she and Lily are there she sends Lily out a small window telling her to run to Daniel and get help. She tells Lily she'll be right behind her, but will she escape in time? Will Lily overcome her fear and tell Daniel "about the badman" before Annie becomes another homicide victim of the Fentanyl drug smuggling ring? Will they discover who is behind the attacks and stop them before Annie or Lily or both become homicide victims?
Full disclosure: I received this book and was asked to do an honest review. All opinions voiced are strictly my own. I was not promised, offered or hinted at any form of compensation for my honest review.
I absolutely loved this book by Sami A Abrams and very highly recommend it!
If you love non-stop action & mystery with a surprise twist I didn't see coming surrounded by faith in God then you'll absolutely love this book!!
I thoroughly enjoy reading her books and own several that I have purchased.
Doctor Annie Davis left her hometown and HS boyfriend years ago to become a trauma doctor. When she turns in a doctor that was stealing drugs, she chose to leave her previous job behind and with the little girl left to her to raise, moves back to her hometown where a job awaits her as a rodeo doctor. When she is attempts to help a stabbed undercover agent Annie finds herself not only in the crosshairs of very bad people, but also seeing Daniel Sinclair for the first time in years. The boy, now deputy and bullfighter, she had left behind. It appears buried feelings are still there but the danger increases when the little girl is kidnapped, later found , but not speaking and another murder has been committed. Can they get in front of the danger before it becomes impossible to survive? Will this intense situation make them realize they might have a second chance in life and love? The story was action packed from beginning to end. The main characters likable and well developed and the K-9 a wonderful addition to the story. The narrator, Tanya Saari, brought the story to life and one always knew who was “speaking”. I was entrusted a copy of this book by Netgalley and Harlequin Audio. The opinions expressed are solely my own.
This was a highly emotional read on so many levels. Dr. Anderson Davis (Annie) has arrived in town to be the rodeo doctor. She is on the run again from a dangerous man. She wants to keep her daughter, Lily, safe. She is raising Lily after Lily lost both parents. She was ready for her new job, but she was not expecting to see her high school sweetheart, Daniel Sinclair.
Daniel is a bull rider and deputy. He was there when Annie needed him most. I immediately liked Daniel. He was a orotector and did not shy away from sharing his feelings, but he was holding something back. Both Annie and Daniel have had life altering tragedy in their pasts which has shaped them into who they are today.
There is something hinky going on at the rodeo and lives are in danger. Secrets are coming to light and someone is willing to do whatever is necessary to keep their secrets.
Sami Abrams always pens a wonderful inspirational story with flawed characters, who usually need a second chance. I love the pacing. It was full of action, but it was not rushed. The story unfolded in perfect timing with a twisty ending. This author’s talent for storytelling just keeps getting better.
Thank you to the author for this ARC. I am leaving this review voluntarily.
I love a series that follows a family throughout each book. This is the third in the series about the Sinclair siblings. Daniel Sinclair is someone who has past trauma and masks it by always having a joke on hand. Annie has came back to town hiding from a man who has threatened her and her daughter, Lily. She is starting anew as the doctor for the rodeo, which this series is centered around. On her first day in town, she witnesses a man getting stabbed also on the same day the young girl that is Lily's babysitter winds up murdered. Has the man followed Annie to this town or is this an entirely different situation altogether? Will Daniel be able to get over his past and focus on helping Annie stay alive along with the rest of the Sinclairs helping? This book had me turning the pages as quickly as possible to find out these answers. I am anxiously awaiting the next book. Make sure that you get all the books in this series. I received a complimentary copy of this book from the author, but was not required to leave a positive review. All opinions are what I thought of this edge of your seat suspense and was shocked at the ending.
Will she always have to pick up and run with her daughter, Lily is what Doctor Annie Davis wonders as once again she hurries to pack and move before her previous co-worker follows through with his threat against her after she got him arrested for drugs. She figured she'd be safe moving back to Rollins that she's always considered as home since no one knew she lived there. As she arrives and is looking around taking in her home area again, she becomes a witness to a crime. Now she's in this killer's crosshairs and as she's running to escape the killer she didn't expect for her high school sweetheart, Daniel Sinclair to be her white knight and save her. Thank goodness her daughter was with a babysitter or so Annie thought when the babysitter ends up murdered and her daughter is missing. As they work together to find her daughter, Daniel must face his past as he prepares to protect both Annie and her daughter Lily. Will they be able to solve who is coming after them because of the drug ring and will they be able to reconnect again as more? This was a really good read, I really enjoyed reading it.
Stone Creek Ranch is a safe haven for several reasons and emergency trauma doctor Anderson (Annie) Davis is about to find out why. Annie has moved back to her hometown because she and her daughter are running from a dangerous situation. Little does Annie know, she's running into another situation or are they one and the same. Annie has been hired as the new Rodeo doctor and while she is familiarizing herself with the fairgrounds again, she encounters someone being stabbed. The killer comes after Annie, but she fights him off until her former boyfriend, part-time deputy/rodeo performer Daniel Sinclair runs the killer off. Annie tries to save the victim and is given a drive to help solve several mysteries around the rodeo. This is the third book in the Stone Creek Ranch series and I highly recommend. Annie's daughter witnesses a murder herself and can't be found for a while. After being found, she won't talk to the adults but will talk to a therapy dog. I was given an advance copy by the author, but these are my own thoughts and words.
From the very first page, Rodeo Witness Protector by Sami Abrams pulled me into a fast-moving story full of heart, danger, and just the right touch of tenderness. The action and suspense kept me turning pages because I had to know what would happen next. I enjoyed the author’s easy, engaging writing style and the quick pace that carried the story along. The cast of characters is strong, and Annie Davis’s work as a rodeo doctor felt like such a fresh and interesting profession. Deputy Daniel Sinclair’s protective nature toward Annie and her daughter, Lily, added warmth to the story, and the scenes with Lily and K-9 Shadow were absolutely adorable. I also appreciated the gentle thread of faith woven throughout the book, along with the tender moments that balanced the danger so well. Rodeo Witness Protector is the third book in the Stone Creek Ranch series, but it can easily be enjoyed as a standalone. This pulse-pounding tale wrapped up far too soon, but it left me smiling long after I turned the final page.
A page turner from the beginning until the end! You won't want to miss this one. Abrams has done well with this story. She keeps you guessing and wondering at whom it could be. I loved every minute of it. Of course I finished in a couple of hours. To me, it didn't feel like no time at all. I didn't want to miss a thing! Annie is trying to keep Lily safe from the bad guys. I hate that Lily is in danger. My heart thumped all the way through this book. Poor baby. I love Annie's protectiveness. Id do the same if it were my son Faith, hope and love especially hope are the main theme. I loved how each character prayed to help them through whatever situation they found themselves in. The sleuthing part was my favorite. Finding the truth of who, what, where, when and what. 5 stars for a fantastic story well done!! Thanks for the opportunity to read and review. I was NOT required to write a positive review. All opinions expressed are mine.
Y'all, hold onto your Stetsons while reading Rodeo Witness Protector by author Sami A. Abrams! This third installment in the Stone Creek Ranch series will have your eyes flying across the page (or screen) as you race to figure out who is after Dr. Annie Davis and her young daughter, Lily. Daniel Sinclair, deputy and a man from Annie's past, is determined to protect Annie and Lily, while also trying to protect his heart. Lily is so sweet, and it was special to see Logan's K-9 service dog, Shadow (Logan and Shadow were from book 2) have such a prominent role here. I so enjoyed this book. There was one particular thing I really enjoyed and found unique (but don't worry, no spoilers from me!) that I'm not used to reading. Grab a paperback, your e-reader, or even the audio version and check this fast-paced, suspenseful, faith-filled story a go. Plus it has my favorite, an epilogue! My thanks for the complimentary copy of this book. My opinion is entirely my own.
I enjoyed listening to this Christian Romantic Suspense. I thought the narrator did a great job performing the different characters with the exception of the young child. I often struggle with the portrayal of children in audio books because to sound childlike the narrator comes across almost like a caricature of what a child sounds like. This is a personal sticking point for me.
The story is what I would expect from a CRS. It is fast paced, suspenseful, has some action, little on page violence (there is a tiny bit of on page gun violence), and no explicit language or intimate content. It also has all those sweet moments and connections between the characters that lead up to their HEA. Strong representation of Christian values throughout. You are shown and told but never preached to. For me Daniel (MMC) was a bit too tender but it didn't distract from the story or the relationship he had with Annie (FMC) in a detrimental way.
Rodeo Witness Protector was such an exciting read! The action was non-stop When Deputy Daniel Sinclair hears a woman scream he goes running and stops the man hurting her. After losing him in the woods he is shocked to see his high school sweetheart, Annie Davis, trying to save the stabbed undercover deputy. And he has given her crucial evidence about a narcotics investigation, he was conducting putting her in even more danger. New rodeo doctor Annie Davis needs Daniel’s protection, for her and her four-year-old daughter, Lily. The danger only grows when her babysitter is found murdered and the little girl refuses to speak. Now Daniel will do anything to protect them as the killer is trying to silence them both. But what did Lily see? This book kept me turning pages, but that ending! Totally blew me away, I was not expecting that at all.
Bullfighter and part-time deputy Daniel Sinclair does a double take when he sees his former high school flame trying to save the life of a stab victim at the rodeo. He is surprised to find that she has moved back to area with a young daughter in tow. Can he overcome his fears and doubts to be the protector they need?
It had bit of a slow start, but after that it picked up quickly, and had a lot going on. Daniel has a lot in his past that he must overcome, but I liked that he stepped up to help Annie and her daughter. Annie and Daniel must outsmart the sinister plot at play.
Overall, an engaging read with a lot going on. Great rodeo setting and likable characters, with strong themes of faith.
I received a complimentary copy of this book. Opinions expressed in this review are completely my own.
This is one of those "you can't put it down" books!! From the first sentence, "He's out on bail, Annie", the suspense keeps rising as Dr. Annie Davis leaves town to start a new life with her four year old daughter. From a hurried leaving to starting a new job as a rodeo doctor to witnessing a murder to her daughter being kidnapped - the list goes on. Luckily she has an old childhood friend, Daniel Sinclair, and his family to help her through this nightmare and try to figure out what is going on. If you like action, suspense and surprise twists and turns, this is the book for you!! If you think you know what is going on and who the bad guys are, you may be surprised! I received an advance copy of this book but all opinions are my own.
I thought this book was well written, suspenseful, and heartfelt. The characters were so compelling and seemed so real that they made me tear up a little when they went through dark and dangerous situations. I loved the sweet, protective relationship between Lily and Shadow the dog. I thought the second chance romance was well worth reading, and I was encouraged by the spiritual truths revealed throughout the story. The villains were truly diabolical and completely unexpected. I am going back to read the other two books in the series, and I am looking forward to the author’s next book. I voluntarily read and reviewed this book for the author. A positive review was not required, and all opinions expressed are entirely my own.
Daniel Sinclair and Annie Davis have a second chance at love in this action- packed story. I love that the rodeo setting with the horses and the behind the scenes feel. I am glad that Annie returns to the place that she feels is home. There is a twist in the story that I thought tied things together very well to help solve the case. I wonder if you'll be able to figure out who is behind the danger and illegal drugs?
Tropes and tidbits: protective MMC adorable preschooler loyal dog found family
I recommend this standalone book in the Stone Creek Ranch series for readers who enjoy clean romantic suspense.
I received a copy of the book from the author. I was not expected to write a positive review. All opinions expressed are my own.
