Tales from Transfusion: The Inclusion

Rate this book
Ryker knows there are dead bodies at Drivers Hospital. They are usually limited to patient rooms, operating rooms, or the morgue. On the first day of a surprise FDA inspection, Ryker stumbles across a murder scene in the employee bathroom. She isn’t sure who, but she’s certain she knows what the killer is. The Drivers police aren’t convinced of any foul play, and no one believes her supernatural theory. Certain the Drivers authorities are going to screw this up, Ryker's only choice is to solve this herself. Identifying a murderer can’t be too different from identifying blood group antibodies, right? Remember…"Be nice, smile, and no one will accuse you of murder."

Excellent

Another great Tales From Transfusion installment. I think I like the murder mystery set up better than zombie apocalypse. I loved all the pop culture references, all the snarky interactions between co-workers and of course all those crazy phone calls we seem to get in the lab. I also loved the inclusion of real science mixed with science fiction. It was a fun read and it's always a welcome change for some real and accurate lab representation.

Fun, fun, fun

I’m happy to support a fellow TM tech and it’s nice to have one media where the lab staff are the main characters.
