Thomas Moskins is a notorious playboy with a bad reputation. And considering his current marital status, that means he's riddled with scandal.
Except, maybe the MVP award-winning hockey player isn't at all what he seems behind closed doors.
When he's forced to hire a PR firm to help clean up his reputation following his latest transgression, he meets his match in Winter Bronte - a girl ten years younger than him with a sad past and guarded demeanor of her own.
And when she learns his biggest secret regarding his marriage, it can ruin both of them if they succumb to the growing feelings they have for one another.
B. Celeste is a new adult and contemporary romance author that gives voices to raw, realistic characters with emotional storylines that tug on the heartstrings.
She was born and raised in upstate New York where she still resides with her four-legged feline sidekick Oliver “Ollie” Queen. Her love for reading and writing began at an early age and only grew stronger after getting a BA in English and an MFA in English & creative writing. When she’s not writing, she’s working out, binge-watching reality game shows, and spending time with her friends and family.
This was so much more than just your average hockey romance book. There was so much trauma and pain behind the stories of the FMC and MMC. The emotion felt in this book was visceral and my heart broke over and over again. I love how B keeps you guessing what the background story is. She gives little glimpse at a time until there is a beautifully painted picture. Sure, this was a hockey romance book, but I felt that was more in the background of the story. The pain, hurt and trauma was all there as well. I’m not ashamed to admit that this book had me ugly crying multiple times! B Celeste hit another one out of the park! Make sure to add Non Pucking Stop to your TBR today. It releases on April 14.
This book really tested my comfort zone. It starts with an MMC that on the surface doesn’t feel too likable but unraveling him and his story with Winter is definitely a journey worth taking. I think I loved this book because it wasn’t straight forward bad boy or sweet guy. It really focused on how you can be lonely among a sea of people and how we as humans can punish ourselves for what we think we deserve. It’s an interesting story and unique perspective for a romance book. I loved that it focused on so much more than the chemistry of the two main characters. And they definitely had that going for them. But it’s the love of friends, the love for ourselves and forgiveness. Strong story, worth the emotional roller coaster it takes you on!!
Thank you to B. Celeste for sending me an advanced copy of this book!
This book had such a fun and unique take on the marriage of convenience trope, where the MMC was in a marriage of convenience NOT with the FMC! Winter and Thomas were so cute together and B did such a great job setting up stories for other side characters in this book! I have been waiting for Belle and Clarkson’s book since Need you to Choose me from the Lindon U series, so fingers crossed they are the next book!
I loved this book!! it has amazing tropes including marriage of convenience, age gap, workplace romance and hockey romance which are some of my favs. this is my first read by this author and she did not disappoint.
I think the fmc is so strong willed and fierce. She is such a queen, and I loved Thomas and Emalys bond.
O I loved this one! Non Pucking Stop by B. Celeste is book two in the On Ice series. And it pulled me in from page one. If you love the playboy hockey player, a yummy age gap, angst, slow burn and deep chemistry for miles and a unique take on the marriage of convenience trope, you need to read this book!
Winter! She's new to the PR firm and assisting on her first case which just happens to be Thomas. She’s fierce, she’s confident, she’s independent and not a victim and unapologetically herself. I loved how she stands her ground and refuses to let anyone walk over her, especially in her first meeting with Thomas, which I loved. She has an innocence to her at the same time. She also has endured much trauma. This girl at the core is lonely and deserves so much love. Thomas is truly so misunderstood. You think he is just an alpha, playboy hockey player with a bad reputation but there’s so much more to this man. The people closest to him see his true heart, and watching Winter break through his tough exterior was perfect. He’s willing to do anything for the ones he loves. And he too endured much trauma, foster homes and deep to the core is a loneliness, a feeling of being left. And both of them, they break your heart with the insecurities and doubts and pain they are facing everyday that affects their lives so deeply. But slowly, these two bring healing to each other. And the slowburn, the angst and chemistry between these two is undeniable. And HOT!! And I loved this man, his dirty mouth because he gets all her firsts❤️
Loved also seeing all the characters from book one AND meeting new ones that brought so much to the story!
B. Celeste writes such authentic, emotionally rich, real and vulnerable characters. She weaves together tension, complicated relationships, and unexpected twists so perfectly. And the power of healing love so deeply. Go read this book AND this series! Rate: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Spice:🌶️🌶️
🩷Marriage of convenience 🩷Age gap (10 years) 🩷Strangers to lovers 🩷Workplace romance 🩷Pro Hockey
This book has such a unique take on the marriage of convenience trope, and it was refreshing to read! Finally, drama that doesn't directly involve the fmc!
Thomas and Emaly's relationship was heartfelt and trustworthy. I actually love them so much as friends. I think both of them are able to count on each other when it matters, and will fight to the ends of the earth to protect each other. I also love how well Emaly knows Thomas. So much so, that she basically "approved" of his love for Winter. Not that he needed any approval for his feelings, but the situation that they're in could've gotten messy if they weren't on the same page.
Winter is one of a kind! I see her so much. She's fierce, she knows what she wants, and knows how to stand up for what she believes in. I admire her so much for that. I loved the moment when she first met Thomas. She was not letting him get away with anything!! She's funny, smart, and is wholeheartedly herself, despite what she had to put up with in her past. (I hope we get Kourt's book)
Thomas was written with so much depth! I love when MMCs actually get a backstory that you're interested in, because Thomas is very complex. He's someone you would side eye without really knowing who he is. The people that know him know that he's a great guy at heart. He has a hard exterior with a soft interior, and Winter was able to crack that almost immediately. Soft for her and HER ONLY!
I LOVED SEEING HONOR, PUCK, AND BODHI AGAIN! My OG favorites! Seeing their progress was so heartwarming! (My 'Three Pucking Words' review.)
At this point, anything that B. Celeste writes, I'll read. She has a way at making characters stand out and feel authentic. The drama, the issues that each character faces, the resolutions... It all feels real, and that's what I appreciate about her books!
I don’t know how she does it, but B. Celeste manages to outdo herself with each book she writes. With every story, I leave it thinking “yep, that was my favorite character she’s written” or “he’s my new book boyfriend” or “that’s her best book yet” and somehow the next book is even better.
I can honestly say all of the above is true with Non Pucking Stop.
I had an idea of where the story of was going, but every moment was so good. I actually love Thomas and his love for Emaly. I love Emaly and how she put herself before her narcissistic family and Thomas was also just as important to her. I cannot stand her family. I equally loathe Thomas’s family. On the other hand, I DO love Kourt & I really hope we see more of her in future stories. And Winter. I love everything about her story. I remember being 13 and those emotions and having to deal with what she did at her age? Unimaginable. Thomas and Winter just fit and I love them.
I can’t say enough about this book. I love getting more Honor and Bohdi and Puck. I hope we continue to see all of these characters as the series continues.
Another win for B. Celeste. Loved the story, the characters, the spicy scenes. Definite 5 stars.
“We are two halves of a broken whole, with a crack down the middle that nobody may be able to repair.”
Non Pucking Stop portrays the marriage of convenience trope in a non-conventional way. Its original concept is what makes this story real. When Thomas Moskins, a hockey player with a bad reputation, needs an image overhaul, Winter Bronte is hired to help clean up his image and show the world a different man. Their meet cute is fire and their chemistry sizzling, but he is married to an amazing, caring woman, which makes him off-limits. But not everything is what it seems! When feelings get mixed up, all apparent red flags fade to the background and lines are crossed. Now they have to deal with the consequences and decide whether their feelings are worth fighting for or not. Non Pucking Stop gives us strong, authentic characters, a different plot, a lot of drama and secrets, vulnerabilities and fears and different kinds of love. B. Celeste will definitely surprise you with this story. Thank you for the ARC.

I really enjoyed Winter and Thomas’s story. Their journey wasn’t easy, and the emotional tension kept me hooked. Watching their relationship develop through all the complications made the payoff feel truly worth it.
A cute and entertaining story. Thomas is a hockey player with not the best reputation…he is constantly in the tabloids. Thomas also has secrets on top of his secrets. Winter and her sister are extremely close…they have been through a lot together. When Winter is brought in to clean up the mess Thomas made ..things get very complicated. As these two work together they start to develop feelings for each other…and things get very complicated. This is a well layered story with an emotional story. A story about family, strong friendships and everything in between. This is book two in this series and I can’t wait to see what happens next.
Non Pucking Stop by B. Celeste is the second book in the On Ice Series. Every book is about another couple and can easily be read as stand alone. A witty and fun age gap sports romance that checks all my boxes, gives all the feels. The author of Under The Sycamore Tree did it again. She wrote a new fav read of mine. I just adored the characters, their struggle and the story is unique, sometimes heartwrenching, sometimes hilarious. I recommend the book and the series, 5 stars.
I very much enjoyed this book! It gave me all the feels and I always love a book that can make me cry. I thought the build up and chemistry of the MCs was delicious!
I would have given it 5 stars but I felt the end was a bit rushed and it just kinda ended without it feeling finished to me. I still really enjoyed the read however.
