Rassistisch, gewaltvoll, übergriffig. Es gibt so viel wichtiges oder schönes oder lehrreiches über das man schreiben kann. Stattdessen wird geschrieben über Frauen erschliessen aus unbegründeten Motiven, Narrative über Pädophilie oder Pornosucht die keine neuen Ebenen aufmachen, einen traumatisierten Soldaten der menschenverachtende Dinge tut.
Das Problem ist ich sehe nicht ob ich für irgendwen Verständnis haben soll oder mich mit wem solidarisieren soll, da alles sehr oberflächlich bleibt. Habe nichts gelernt, wenn man schon über so ein Thema schreibt, gib mir doch neue Anstösse, anstatt einfach alles reinzupacken was ich mit allen -Ismen assoziiere.
Habe grad gelesen im Internet der Bruder der Hauptrolle ist wohl autistisch. Like erstmal habe nicht erkannt beim lesen, 2. macht mich so sauer wie sich ein weisser Mann aus UK, der viel Bildung genossen hat, anmaßt einfach alle grossen Thematiken mal kurz anzureissen und auf 68 Seiten zu packen.
Wenn du ein Stück über etwas schreibst, befasse dich doch bitte mit einem Thema intensiv. Und nicht mal eben hier und da noch was verstörendes reinstreuen.
Übrigens der Stil des Stückes hat teilweise komödiantische Aspekte. Kann mir so gut vorstellen wie Publikum dann an machen Stellen lacht, und dabei die eigentlichen Thematiken verharmlost werden.

Et utrolig godt skrevet manus med mange plot-twists, spennende karakterer og en rar, men veldig interessant historie. Ganske grafisk, så passer ikke for alle, men definitivt et av de bedre manusene jeg har lest!

Brutal, disturbing but fantastic dialogue. Theatre at its most visceral. Well-written but can't say I enjoyed the second half.

Horrifying, disturbing yet highly profound. Stephens takes an unflinching and fearless look at the nature of war and how it can induce psychopathy. Deliberately banal dialogue, experimental structure and unnervingly alive characters.

This one was really really psycho. I don't know how to feel about this and how to react to it. I also don't know if I can recommend this play or not. It was scary, frightening and it made me question lots of stuff.
