Rate this book
She never planned to become a target. He didn’t plan to care so much.

Tidehaven was supposed to be a quiet little town on the coast. Salt air, familiar faces, and a life Emerson understands. But when trouble comes to town, so does Knox – a former SEAL – ready to save the day and get back to his cabin in Alaska.

Forced together by escalating threats, a storm that leaves disaster in its wake, and an instalove attraction that might take till chapter four, these two come together like the crashing of waves. As the town becomes a battlefield, walking away is no longer an option.

As danger closes in, Emerson must decide how far she’s willing to go to protect her future. Is she willing to choose between the life she knows and the man waiting for her in Alaska?

Perfect for readers who love instalove, protective SEAL heroes, forced proximity, and romance that hits hard and fast.

Review of advance copy received from Author

This is part of the Tidehaven Seal Romance Series, but can be read as a standalone. Emerson's a feisty woman whose job was rescuing Manatees on the South Carolina coast. Her life's in danger after a run in with Rex,an unsavory character and a Navy Seal is called in to protect her. Needless to say, she's not happy about this but has no choice after her boat is blown up. More danger as she is stalked and shot at. Throw in a hurricane and a shirtless Seal with gorgeous abs and an abandoned cat. Insta love with a happy ending and no cliffhanger. Cute, quick read with likable characters. A happy ending and no cliffhanger. I read a free arc via the author and voluntarily chose to review it.

Knox is more than happy to "Keep eyes on Emerson"

They shouldn't work...but they do!
Knox likes his solitude, his silence, but something about the sassy, feisty Emerson has him begging her to join him in his Alaskan escape. This book is fun, completely crazy, a little over the top and not what either of them expected. It may be the end of the threat to Emerson, but it's just the beginning for them!
A great addition to the Tidehaven series, I read this on Kindle Unlimited.
