This story is THE blend between lightheartedness and emotional depth. Rory and Tristan give you plenty of sweet and funny moments, while also giving you moments to relate to in a deeper way. And while the characters are inspired by a favorite celebrity couple, they are very much their own people. There are still hints of the things we love most (Tristan is the blueprint for a secure man who fully supports and uplifts his partner with no ego about her stratospheric popularity, much like a certain football player we know and love), but Rory and Tristan both have their own personal thoughts and feelings that are fully their own. And I LOVE a good author’s note at the end to finish out a story, and HD Jones never disappoints. Definitely don’t skip it when you finish 🫶🏼🩷

I read this book chapter by chapter as it was being written on Patreon. It was such a charming, sweet, and fun read! I cried and laughed in public reading this story. I was there from the beginning when she got the idea for this book and decided to write it. Watching Taylor and Travis gave me joy when I needed it most and this book added to that joy. I’m so excited that it’ll be a physical book and I can put it on my bookshelf because this book gave me just straight serotonin. I love HD and loved this story.

Absolutely the best book I have ever read! The development between Rory and Tristan is flawless, every step of their journey feels authentic and deeply emotional. Tristan’s unwavering love and loyalty toward Rory is truly breathtaking, and it makes you root for them from start to finish. The writing itself is so immersive that I felt completely transported into their world. The ending had me choking back sobs because of how beautifully their love is portrayed, it’s the kind of story that stays with you long after you turn the last page. Every chapter is packed with emotion, tension, and heart, making this book an unforgettable read.

I ate this up. Rory and Tristan were such good characters. I love the pop culture references with a unique twist. The story is emotional and hilarious all at the same time. Showing depth in all the side characters and the cats! Everyone should read!
