On Creativity
Workbook for writers, artists, dancers, song writers, entrepreneurs, and others looking to boost their creativity

At its essence, creativity is the ability to imagine or produce something new — a thought, an object, a solution, or a way of seeing the world that didn’t exist before. How does one boost creativity? By practicing it deliberately. Exposure to new ideas, cultures, and disciplines expands the mental “palette” we draw from.

In this book, we are going to use journaling to ignite, motivate, and boost our creativity. No matter your creative field—-whether you are a writer, dancer, artist, songwriter, actor, filmmaker, photographer, or entrepreneur—-journaling is one of the most powerful tools you can use to unlock, nurture, and sustain your creativity. Your journal is a place to reflect on your creative process and a laboratory where inspiration can safely evolve into atangible form.

I didn’t expect this book to shift the way I approach my own creativity, but it genuinely did. On Creativity feels less like a typical workbook and more like a thoughtful companion for anyone who’s ever felt stuck or unsure about their creative direction.

What I appreciated most is how simple and doable the journaling prompts are. They’re not overwhelming or abstract they gently pull ideas out of you in a way that feels natural. I found myself writing things I didn’t even know I had in me.

Paul Lima also does a great job reminding you that creativity isn’t reserved for a specific group of people. Whether you’re a writer, dancer, business owner, or just someone trying to reconnect with your imagination, this book gives you the mental space to explore that side of yourself again.

It’s grounding, motivating, and honest. If you’re looking for a practical way to boost your creativity without feeling pressured or judged, this workbook is absolutely worth it. I’ve already recommended it to a friend.

On Creativity was exactly what I needed without realizing it. I’ve been feeling stuck for a while, and this workbook didn’t overwhelm me or try to “fix” anything it just guided me back to myself in a very real, down to earth way.

The journaling prompts are thoughtful and surprisingly effective. A few of them made me pause long enough to see what was actually getting in my way. Others brought up ideas I didn’t expect, the kind that sit quietly in the back of your mind until someone gives you the right nudge.

What I love about this book is how flexible it is. You don’t have to be a professional writer or artist anyone who wants to reconnect with their creative side will get something out of it.

By the end, I felt lighter and more open to creating again, almost like I’d cleared out mental dust I didn’t know was there.

A simple, sincere workbook that truly helps you find your spark again.
