The CEO’s Secret Heir: A One Night Stand, Forced Proximity Romance

Rate this book
One reckless night. One forbidden secret. And the man I swore I’d never see again.

Four years ago, I fell for Nate Blackwell. Our chemistry burned too hot, too fast. Our one night together was magically explosive. Then, I made the only choice I could... I walked away.

Now I’m a broke, desperate, single mother. A corporate crisis at Blackwell Industries pulls me back into Nate’s world.

He’s colder, sharper—every inch the grumpy CEO who doesn’t mix business with pleasure. Except we already did that. And neither of us has forgotten.

Long days and nights together, blur. Walls between us start to crack. Every brush of his hand awakens feelings I swore I buried. Every look lasts a little too long.

Flames are re-igniting and I’m losing the ability to extinguish them. I can sense him wanting me as much as I want him.

But there is a problem. The little girl waiting for me at home has his ice-blue eyes.

If the truth finally comes out, I might lose everything I’ve ever loved.

Perfect for fans of steamy billionaire romances with One Night Stand, Forced Proximity, Enemies to Lovers and Secret Baby twists.

Solid novella. I get that the author was trying to be brief and cram a lot into 63 pages. I was impressed with how much is packed into these 63 pages...

****----- Spoiler ahead --- ****

But I wish they would have spent a little more time talking about how she forgave him and took him back.

Good story but the writing is repetitive. Interesting characters and a little spice.

For a short read, it is packed full. The past, the present, the angst, fear, control, the questionable future....so much, so good.
