Never Over You #2

Still Into You

Rate this book
What happens when you continually run from your demons?

When Mia watched Ethan walk out of her life, she did what she did best—she ran—ran from the only person who ever made her feel safe; home.

They work even harder to try and find you.

He was her everything and she let him slip away.

And when they do … they’ll come at you full force, guns blazing.

Hitting rock bottom forced Mia to stop. Now she needed to dig herself out. Figuring out how to do that required help, maybe a plan. She had to face those demons. Not an easy task when she spent her entire life running from them.

Would Ethan still be there for Mia after all was said and done? Or would she find that he had moved on? Or would he still be into her?

Nerd turned writer. The force is strong in this girl.

During the day, Ryleigh is an analyst, but even then, she’s writing, sneakily crafting scenes on post-it notes. She's been told she's a bit of a geek...some say nerd. She'll agree to it all. She loves music. It's been a force in her life for as long as she can remember. Her love of Star Wars and superheroes has probably been going on just as long...see, this is where the geek/nerd thing comes into play. But, most of all, Ryleigh loves the written word. She's been writing for a long time. Her first story came to her during one of her history classes. She wrote it in the margins of her notebook in teeny tiny letters so no one knew that she was writing a book instead of taking notes on 16th Century Europe. She currently lives in Chicago, Illinois, with her husband and son, along with her Siberian Husky, Mick Jagger, and her cat, Winston Churchill.

Yikes! While I loved Mia and Ethan in Never Over You, Mia was extremely annoying this time around. I wanted to reach through my Kindle and shake some sense into her. This girl needed to open her eyes and see what was standing right in front of her. My review may spoil book one of the series.

Book two picks up right where book one left off, Mia is on tour and Ethan is still in Indy. With her tour schedule and his football schedule, seeing each other right now isn't easy. They are apart, something that Mia doesn't deal with well. She carries a lot of baggage from her childhood and they way Ethan is acting towards her now makes her assume the worst. She needs some time to fix herself before being with him again.

"I can only hope that at some point we can find each other again. Because you own my heart and I will love you forever." ~ Ethan

That girls, is what Mia is running from. A saint of a man willing to give what he can to help his woman. I don't know how many times he begs her to talk to him. Let him help. Anything so she doesn't leave and she does exactly that-leaves him. Ethan is crushed. He says he will wait for her, but without any sort of a time line, he's left just blowing in the wind. He still has Luke for support, however Luke is still Mia's best friend.

"I do not want to say goodbye to you. You're the love of my life. You're it for me. This is not the end. But I don't know what else to do. So I will let you go. I won't stand in your way. But please whenever you need me, call. I'll be there. Always." ~ Ethan

She leaves him and quickly hits rock bottom. Mia has a lot to work through, the bad thing is, she never does. The girl runs away from her problems. Constantly masking them with drugs and alcohol. Her band mates can do nothing but watch her fall just like Ethan and fall she does. Mia goes from zero to sixty with her behavior and at some point I was hoping Ethan didn't bother to take her back. She whines and cries that she misses him, yet drags her feet on getting the help she needs.

Sure I am being tough, but Ryleigh Andrews went a bit long with the Mia self destruction for me. As I read, I found it harder and harder to sympathize with Mia's situation and started to turn on her. I understand it isn't easy to relive all of your problems with a stranger, but sooner or later the story needed to move forward. I was to the point where I just wanted Ethan to find himself a nice girl, get married and have those five kids he wants.

The book was well written with various points of view, which are time stamped to show it took years for this relationship to work its way full circle. Like I said, the whole Mia part drug out too much for me to believe a guy like Ethan would wait around. He was an attractive, popular, nice guy that could land another girl in a second. That aside, I am still looking forward to book three. There has to be a happy ending for these two out there somewhere.

Wow! What an amazing story!

Still Into You picks up right where Bring Me You left off. Mia is trying to deal with things and get her life back on track. It hasn’t been easy. Sometimes you have to hit rock bottom, before you can make the necessary changes in your life. Mia having to face her problems will be one of the hardest things she’ll have to do. What will happen when the dust finally settles? Will Ethan still be waiting there or will he finally have moved on?

Mia and Ethan….What can I say? They share a very special love. They have been through so much. So many ups and downs. So many obstacles. So many difficult moments. So many moments where most people would have just thrown in the towel and walked away. Never have I ever wanted two people to work things out so badly.

This book does deal with some very difficult and intense subject matter. I think that the author did an amazing job with it and portrayed it in a very realistic way. You felt as though you were experiencing these events and feeling the characters emotions as if they were your own. And to me, making me feel and experience those things, makes for one really great read.

Still Into You is well written and captivating. You can’t help but get lost in the characters and their story. Mia and Ethan’s story takes you on one incredible journey. It’s tough, it’s painful. Your heart will go out to them. It will break. But it will also hold onto the hope that their love can endure the toughest of situations. I’ve really gotten attached to these characters and have my fingers crossed that these two will finally get the HEA that they deserve.

Holy Moly -- Mia just about put me over the edge in this one. I really didn't like that girl. She hid behind sex and drugs without giving much thought to anyone or anything but her own selfish and sickly needs. I'm not sure but she may have slept with most every male character in the book! She may not have had sex with all of them, but she definitely walked a fine line. And she whined and bellyached more than she had any right to. And then she has the audacity to blame Ethan and hold his sexual encounters against him -- and all this after she breaks off their engagement and sends him to the curb.

Yep - most of this book has the main couple apart while all the uproar referred to above goes on and on and on far beyond the point of sense. And I would definitely be remiss if I didn't point out that after having not seen one another for three-years, they jump back in bed after a five-minute elevator ride where they meet by accident, and have unprotected sex after both have had other sexual partners. I'm not kidding - this one pushes the boundaries. Still I'm stuck in this book and wondering how and what is going to happen in the end.

This one ends on another semi-cliffhanger. It's definitely not the type readers encountered in the first book but it may just send our crazy as a loon lead female once again over the edge. I'm wondering if there's a point where Ethan and all the men who seem to feel responsible and willing to forgive Mia finally throw up their hands and say ENOUGH!

So, I'm thankful that the next installment is ready to download and I can get this wild series behind me. Once again, I'm not saying I hate it -- but this one tested me without mercy.

I finished the first book in this series in one sitting, and immediately picked up this one. Still couldn't stop! These characters have stolen my heart. And completely broken it.

After the chaos of the first one, I hoped for a reprieve in the second book. No. It was just as emotional and raw as the first. Mia only slides further into despair. She is famous. She is everything millions of women want to be. No longer a starving artist, she is successful and brilliant and completely miserable. Fighting the demons inside her, she continues to push Ethan away. He goes on with his life, but his heartbreak is so painful to read about, and through it all, he always comes back to his "suga". What a man.

I think the only thing I really didn't like in this book were the scenes involving Mia and other men. I didn't want her with other men! It hurt my heart so much to read because she was so obviously meant for Ethan. Every time they came back together I cheered and hoped that finally they would work it out. But Mia had to face her demons on her own before she could allow Ethan back into her life, and that process just made me cry!

Perhaps a slight spoiler... Book two ends tentatively happy, but it' so hard to trust after all this couple has been through. ~ George, 5 stars

**YOU CAN READ MY FULL REVIEW ON MY BLOG**

Uhm, next book please? I mean, hello? It’s just the start of the good life. We can’t stop here.

I know, here I go again, starting off with my needy outburst of needing the next book, but please.

Anyway, I’m going to start off with my little list of complaints so we can party up about this book because OH. MY. GOSH.

Okay, it’s not actually all complaints but more like, pointing them out.

Where do I start?…

Okay, I’ll say this. This was not a smooth ride. There were times that I totally want to slap Mia to knock some realisation and motivation and life into her. I mean, I understand her disposition. It’s not easy. This book and Bring Me You are both roller coaster rides. Most of all, I love how she found her resolve in the end, making the book really beautiful.

My friends tell me they think I’m quite bipolar and now, I think I just read a glimpse on how hard it could have been for them to deal with me…

The writing – I’m not complaining here, made the characters feel a lot like younger than they were. Usually, I’ll be annoyed when the author kept on mentioning the same fact over and over again (Like the French thing in the first book) but this time around, I didn’t mind being reminded of their age.

And one last thing I’d like to point out. Uhm, this book is heavily sexual. *blinks rapidly*

It’s not really a complain but there were just really many encounters in here. *woah.* The first book is heavier – not just sexually, but yeah, but you get the point.

Through out, there were a lot of dramatizing stuff, too cheesy moments, heart-aching scenes.

You get the point. This book can be funny as hell and dramatic like there’s no tomorrow.

I am not shipping Mia and Ethan as hard as I thought I would but, surprise! I don’t. I don’t hate them. I am just okay with them.

I mean, they are sweet. They’re freaking romantic, sweet, and well, hawt like nobody’s business but it comes down to the fact that it feels not whole to me.

If that makes sense.

Don’t get me wrong, I love them. I love everyone.

But I am shipping Allie and Luke harder than Mia and Ethan.

pleasemakethemhappenpleasemakethemhappenpleasemakethemhappenPLEASE

I love the plot. The second book is lighter than the first one. This is a lot brighter than Bring Me You and I love how Mia grew. I love her progress. She’s heading the bright side now and I really can’t believe how the people around her took so long to help. I didn’t like that but that’s in the past so…

I love the music things, the movie, the football – although I never understood a thing about that sport. Haha. I’m sorry everyone.

Anyway. Overall, this book is dramatic, funny, and romantic. This book, scratch that, the series itself, is so sweet. It’s not just about Mia’s love life and well, sex life. It’s about a girl coping, her friends surrounding her, helping her all the way through. She might have been stubborn but here is now. I love that – that is the main factor why I love this book. I love the friendships. I just love the growth and depth of most of the characters – Ethan as exception, I’m sorry. I tried!! Please spare my life. I still need to read the third book and help more authors out there.

Speaking of that, I am most definitely excited for the third book (OMG I HEAR WEDDING BELLS I WANT TO INVITED THERE. – but seriously, serious danger ahead!!! I’m panicking!!!!)

I received an ARC of this book from Between The Sheets Promotions in exchange for an honest review and as part of the book's blog tour promotions.

I read the first book and found it to be a sweet and sad story that definitely needed another shot. The heroine was a good girl who just had her own demons that she needed to face. The hero was also a good guy who may have bitten more than he could chew when he fell in love with the heroine.

On this second book, the heroine got to her lowest point, but she woke up. She worked on turning things around. I wish that the hero was always there, but that's not how a love story always goes. There must always be a period of separation where the hero and the heroine work through their issues on their own while they try to be a better person for the other.

Like the first book, Mia and Ethan's story shows that a person needs to be complete and happy with himself before he can expect to truly love another person. Oh, relationships are easy, but love is not. You can be in a relationship with someone you don't really love. However, when you do love a person, it takes up everything you have, just as its should. And if you are not whole, if you cannot give your all, then things won't work. That's why we have to free up all those spaces in our lives that's filled with things we no longer need, so we can make room for love.

I hope that in the next installment, Mia and Ethan now get to face problems together. I mean, the first book was them meeting, falling in love, and things falling apart. Then the second book made them stronger individuals who are now ready to go deeper into their relationship. I wish the third book would make them stronger together, as a unit and not justs as a singular person. I'm sure I will be looking out for the next book because I really want these two characters to find their happy ending.

I was given an advanced copy for an honest review.

To say that I have patiently waiting to read this book is an absolute lie, I have been dying to get my hands on it! Ryleigh did not disappoint one bit! This book was absolutley amazing, full of so much emotion and above everything else growth!

Still Into You picks right up where Bring Me You leaves Off. Mia trying to get her life together and Ethan feeling like he is being left behind. I dont want to give anything away with my review, everyone needs to read this one for themselves and get the full flegde experience.

I was completely sucked in from the start, asking myself can these 2 really ever be together and be happy? I have never felt myself rooting for two characters to just make it work!! The journey that Mia goes on and the emotions is spectacular and leaves you filled with both sorrow and joy! I absolutley love her and just wanted to wrap her up in a huge hug. Ethan of course is utterly amazing and if he said "Hi Suga" to me I would melt on the spot!! Of course there is is Luke who captured my heart and I am dying for more of him!!

Ryleigh completely rocked my world, her writing is so unique at being able to draw you in and feel everything the characters are feeling and going through. I will be once again not patiently waiting for her next book!!

I would absolutely recommend this series to everyone, it has a perfect combination of amazing characters, true drag you in emotions, and a story that will devour you whole!!

How do you even measure the amount of times I held my breath? This book was exactly what everyone needs when they fell in love and took the ride with Ethan and Mia in Bring Me You.
I love these two and honestly want to smack the living daylights out of them both quite often lol. To me they are like my friends and we have become very close.
Mia needs to fix Mia....will she fix what she needs to from her haunting past so she can fight her way back to Ethan?
But is the love these two share so powerful that no matter the time between them, they can find each other again? Are they still into each other?
Powerful emotions and some F5 tears, shock and let me put this down because I need a damn minute to compose, jump up and down excited for new and amazing things happening, meet new people and brush up with characters you have met, get to know said characters a little more.
This book will yank you in and hold you hostage all the way through til the end. You will ask over and over again what the freak is going to happen and will you get what you wanted.

Fall in love again, if you loved Ethan the first around with Bring Me You..... Watch out because you haven't met this Ethan yet.
I love this story and can't wait for more and more and more from Ryleigh. The stories she tells are like you are in it.
Take a ride and hold on for dear life because you will need it!!!

This book was not what I expected AT ALL!!! And I'm so glad it wasn't because it is SO MUCH MORE. Five stars doesn't even begin to express how much I ADORED this book!
If I fell in love with the series since book one, book two left me totally OBSESSED with it. WOW!
This book is such a wild ride with the ups and downs, bumps and all. A rollercoaster of emotions for sure.
Our favorite characters are back...or aren't they? LUKE, MIA, ETHAN and of course all the other characters we love so much.
But this is MIA'S book. We can see how our girl struggles to fight darkness and rise like the Phoenix in order to save herself and her relationship with Ethan.
This is a story of before and after, of fresh starts and new beginnings. A flawed and broken story with darkness but also light. But most importantly a LOVE STORY.
Ryleigh really blew me away with this book, she hit it out of the park. She has a way with words that is just amazing. It really makes you FEEL everything.
If you have not read this series, then what are you waiting for??? This is seriously a MUST READ. IM NOT KIDDING!

Is it possible to love fictional characters so much they stay in your head all day and dream about them at night without sounding off your rocker?
5 Stars is simply not enough for this series.
I have cried, laughed, screamed, I have been in love, I have been pissed off, my heart hurts, my heart healed. After book 1, I was so afraid of what was going to happen. I have been dreaming scenarios in my head over and over. But never did I imagine the roller coaster ride I would find with Still Into You.
Ryleigh has a magical way of wrapping Ethan and Mia into my brain and I feel like they are a part of me. I want them to be a part of me. Their journey has been like no other. Mia fighting her demons put me through the ringer and her strength is amazing.
I have nothing but absolute love for this series and this author. I cannot wait for more. I cannot wait for Mia and Ethan's love to continue. I cannot wait for more Luke. Simply put...DON'T STOP WRITING!!!!
If you have not read this series yet...stop what you are doing and start immediately.

Still Into you is book two in the Never Over You series. It can not be read a s a standalone, you must read Bring Me You first. Still Into You starts off a month after Bring Me You. It's been a month since Ethan and Mia have seen each other. Their paths cross again and it gives you hope that they will make things work. It seems like nothing with Ethan and Mia is easy. You can tell the still love each other but they is a lot that has to be dealt with first.

Mia is at the bottom but she's trying to fix herself, which is not an easy task. There's a lot of up and downs in this story. There were times I wanted to just yell at the characters. It's a roller coaster of a read and just when you think everything is going to be ok, you're hit with a cliffhanger. I can't wait to read the next one

I don't know why I continued this to the end. I suppose I was looking for redemption and admittance from the FC, Mia.

Such a destructive character, who constantly professed her love for Ethan but loved booze and drugs more. Instead of finding the help she needs she continues to bury herself in her misery.

Unfortunately, I didn't like her or her endless profession of love for Ethan or her constant wailing and that she wouldn't admit that SHE was the problem and needed to seek help.

She turned to every Tom, Dick or Harry when she needed to "forget" instead of the person she professed her love for. She uses Tom for sex, alcohol to drown out her pain but instead of giving her a "solution" she continued to "f**k up.

It took her a lot of pain to finally realize she needed rehab.

Depressing story.

This review was originally posted on Cocktails and Books

The Never Over You series was one hell of an emotional roller coaster. Mia and Ethan were the king and queen of miscommunication, which resulted in us following them for several years as Mia spiraled out of control because one or both of them refused to open their mouth about exactly how they felt. It was frustrating a lot of the time, but by the time we get to the end of book 3 we discover that despite everything they had gone through this couple fought for their HEA and learned what they needed to do to ensure their relationship never faltered again.

For most of the series, Mia's life was in constant chaos. She was living her dream, but at the same time her demons did a hell of a job pulling her under. She bravely fought those demons, but when things between her and Ethan hit a rough patch, she generally let the demons pull her under. It's hard to follow someone as they self destruct, but you hope at some point that self destruction is going to serve as a wake up call to that person. That was the case with Mia. It was hard for Ethan to stand by as the love of his life falter, for Luke to see his best friend destroy herself and for her bandmates to worry about what she was doing. As I read the middle part of the series, I was right there with them. Wondering when Mia was going to get it together. She eventually does, but I knew as she fought to overcome everything, she was going to have to learn how to battle back those demons when life threw her a curve ball.

Ethan and Mia's relationship had it's fair share of bumps caused by Mia, but towards the end of the series, it's Ethan that threw things into chaos. His inability to communicate with Mia, talk about how he really feels during certain situations, led to a huge breakdown in their relationship. It was during this breakdown that we saw just how strong Mia had become. Ethan was the strong one. The one that was Mia's support line. But with her trust in Ethan shaky, she proved she could be strong for herself and for her family, if she's fighting for the right thing.
This was an interesting series. It had me on a bit of a rollercoaster, with moments where I was happy, pissed off or wondering what the hell was going on. Author Ryleigh Andrews took us on a journey with Ethan and Mia. They had real problems. Real struggles. And in the end, showed how a real couple has to work at their relationship, no matter how much love they have.

This was a great Facebook recommendation. A series I'm glad I read.

I could not wait to step back into Mia and Ethan’s world. I have been waiting for book 2 ever since I read the words, ““Five weeks,” he said and walked out of the room- out of her life.” I just had to know what happened next and where Ryleigh was taking these characters.

I was immediately hooked and couldn’t put this book down. Ryleigh has a way of writing that you become attached to the characters; feel their emotions. I became wrapped up in their story and their struggles.

Picking up right where the first one ended, we watch as Mia struggles to overcome her past. It wasn’t that easy and through it all we get to see all the sides of Mia, including the one she doesn’t want anyone to see. While Ethan does give her the space she needs to grow and find herself, his love for her is undeniable. I cannot wait to see where Book 3 brings this couple!

If you haven’t read this series I highly recommend!

One word for this 2nd book in the series: FRUSTRATING! How does the series start so good and end up here??? Mia was just too much in this 2nd book. It was centered on Mia, how messed up she is and how depressed she is. She breaks up with Ethan to "work on herself" but she doesn't do any of that until like the last 30% of the book. The first 60% of the book is her having sex with everyone and never talking about her issues with her past or even remotely dealing with them. To have a character start off so strong and independent and then have her be so weak really turned me off. I didn't really feel bad for her. I wanted her to get over herself already. The last 20% of the book really was a lot better....her finally getting back to really working on her issues and working things out with everyone--Luke and more importantly Ethan. I will be reading the last book with the hopes that it gets back to how things were in book 1.

~~~~~~~~~~Dee's ★★★★★ Review~~~~~~~~~~
Fantastic story-line, lots of heart, lots of passion and an abundance of realism. Well written with gut wrenching emotions that wrap the reader into the reality of another world. Watching Mia dealing with her demons, first hiding then confronting, seeing her emerge a stronger amazing woman has been an exciting train ride.
The foundation of Mia's demons stem from her childhood trauma. Because of her refusal to face the pain, she chooses to drown it in alcohol and drugs. Ethan makes choices in reaction to her activities in using drugs. These choices only serve to magnify her core pain, which, in turn increases her flight into drugs. The toxic relationship must end. Mia must fight her way to the light alone, without Ethan. This only increases her dependency on drugs. This plan, however blows up in her face big time. As a result, she ends up in therapy. Before she makes a little progress, she is hit with another surprising blast that threatens her fragile hold onto life.
Fortunately, this new blow serves as a wake up call that gives her the incentive to stand and face her demons and win back Ethan's love.
Ms. Andrews is an amazing storyteller that can make you feel the emotions. I was so overwhelmed by Tom's story, I could not read the words due to the flowing tears. I look forward to following the conclusion of Mia and Ethan's story.
~~~~~~~~~~Lillian's ★★★★✰ Review~~~~~~~~~~

The second book follows on from the first in the series, even better than the beginning of the story. Mia is a complete mess, she is drinking & doing drugs. She just wants to forget the pain & her past. But it is coming at a price, she is losing Ethan even though he tries so hard. The distance has done damage to their relationship, they both still love each other but Mia has passed him away. They are on a break but Mia is so out of control that she overdoses and that almost destroys Ethan as he can't fix the problem. Mia runs from everyone and goes on her own to sort herself out. Mia falls in love with another man but she thinks of Ethan all the time and she knows that she can't be without else until she comes to terms with her past. Ethan still keeps in contact but Mia has put up a barrier and she is selfish as she doesn't want him to see other people now that they are broken up. Mia pushes him even further away by breaking up with him completely, there is no tomorrows for them.

Mia needs to get her act together and she tries by doing a movie and getting involved with her co star, she is so excited and she shares her news with Luke and ofcourse Ethan, they both worry about her but they can't do anything to stop her.

Mia takes a look around her and realizes that she needs to get past her issues and get into therapy as she knows what she wants. That has always been Ethan, he is her future. Mia starts opening up and starts by repairing her relationship with her friends that have tried to be there for her.

Ethan wants her to come back to him, he has never given up hope by as time as gone by, he knows that he might have lost her for good. He has tried to move on by she is all that he wants. Will Mia ever come back to him?

Mia's journey is full of pain & suffering and once she lets it out she knows that she can be with Ethan completely. Will she be able to find peace and get the answers that she needs. Can Ethan accept her no matter what? There is HEA yet, their journey is just beginning.

I think that most of us can relate to Mia as we all find that crutch when things are bad and sometimes they have even make things worse. We are our on worse enemy. But we can find that light when we find peace within ourselves. Sometimes that can take years and I know it can be very hard and painful. What I loved about this story is no matter what there is that one person that will love us no matter what.

Ended on a cliffhanger, can't wait for the next one. A really well written story that has you from the very beginning. I received a ARC copy in exchange for an honest review which I have no problem doing that.

~~~~~~~~~~Sharlene's ★★★★✰ Review~~~~~~~~~~
A copy of this title was received in exchange for an honest review.
The story of Mia and Ethan continue in this second installment of the Never Over You series. All the same characters reappear in this book in addition to some new ones. Mia certainly takes a journey of self-discovery in this one. At times I wanted to smack her though. She kept saying that she needed to do one thing and then ignored it and did bad things instead. She took her sweet ass time coming around. Ethan is not in this book as often as he was in the first one. This story focuses mainly on Mia and her journey. The scene descriptions in this book are excellent. I could almost taste the salt air in Malibu. Some texting going on in this one as well as some conversation but mostly this book is internal dialogue. Normally I get bored with that, but the author's writing is so good that I actually didn't mind it much.
Although an HEA is strongly hinted at, it doesn't actually happen. Just like the first installment, this one ends in a cliffhanger. I wonder where the third installment will take us?
~~~~~~~~~~Patricia's ★★★★✰ Review~~~~~~~~~~

Well this book starts off where it left off. Mia has become a terrible mess hooked on drugs, alcohol and is out of control. Mia just can't seem to get her life together hopefully she will finally get it together and see what she would have with Ethan. She starts causing problems for Ethan even though he still wants to be with her. Mia gets in a movie and falls for a co-star and then she doesn't want Ethan to have anyone she is jealous. Ethan still hopes to keep her out of trouble but that is a hard job. This book is still a little back and forth but is written well.

Still Into You is the second book in the Never Over You series by Ryleigh Andrews. These books have to be read in order, so if you haven't already read Bring Me You then you should start there and beware of possible spoilers in this review. I will warn you that these books do contain cliffhangers since Ethan and Mia's story continues from one book to the next. Though I hate waiting for more, Ryleigh Andrews is a great writer and her books are worth waiting for because they are so good!

Mia knew that she needed to work on herself and take care of her past before she could ever hope to have a future with Ethan. Though she knew she wanted to be with him, she knew it was unfair for him to stay with her while she worked on what she needed to. When she walked away from him, she broke not only his heart but also her own. But just because she knows what she needs to do, doesn't mean that she won't hit rock bottom before getting there. Mia has been running from her demons for years, and now that she has finally seen how low she can get she starts to begin the long and painful process of taking back her life. But after everything is dealt with and all the time apart, will Ethan still be around or will he have moved on?

I love these two together so much! There has never been a question in my mind of whether or not Ethan and Mia belonged together. They have had such an undeniable connection since they first met, and the chemistry and passion between them was never an issue. These two are beyond hot together, but they also have such strong feelings for one another that it makes them even more compatible. They work well together and they understand one another. Though they don't always agree on the best approach to things, their unwavering love and support for one another is unlike anything I have ever seen before. These two might have taken time apart and there might have been both physical and emotional distance between them, but they always knew what the end game was. They knew that they wanted to be together, and that unfortunately that sometimes means being apart for awhile to figure things out. I will say that it definitely wasn't easy for either of them, or for me as a reader to get through some parts of this book. My heart literally broke for them so many times, and I honestly was unsure of what would happen with this two. Their story is still far from over, but I am really glad that they are finally starting to get to where they need to be.

Mia and Ethan have been through so much and while I love them for one another, they have also put one another through a lot. I really hated how far apart they were for so much of this story, and it was especially hard to see them with other people knowing how perfect they are together. But I also know that these two have to end up together because there is no way that they have such a special relationship and don't wind up together. Ryleigh Andrews has written such beautiful yet flawed characters, and I love that they are so real. They struggle with things and make mistakes, and that makes their story so believable to me. Life is messy and things get complicated, and Ryleigh Andrews has done a great job of showing that sometimes just because you love someone doesn't mean that the timing is right. We as humans are constantly growing and evolving, and that is definitely the case with Mia and Ethan. I saw a lot of growth and change in Mia in this book, and I was so glad that she was finally starting to open up to those that she loved and to move forward with her life. This story is emotional and captivating, and I honestly cannot wait to get more of all these characters. I love Ethan and Mia, but I also really love the secondary characters and Mia's best friend Luke is one of my favorites. I am really enjoying seeing him start to move forward with his life also, and I can't wait to see what happens next for him as well. I highly recommend this series, and I really think that there is something that everyone can relate to with these characters. I will be anxiously awaiting the next book in this series, and hope that we don't have to wait too long to get more of these fantastic characters.

I have been anxiously awaiting the release of this book since I finished Bring Me You, the first book in the series. You absolutely have to read the first book as it is a continuation of the Ethan and Mia saga. Wow, just wow! Ryleigh Andrews went all out her writing continues to get better and better. I felt like I had been kicked in the gut, slapped across the face and she didn't even care, she just kept on writing. She had my emotions all over the place, everything from laughter to frustration to tears. She hooked me from the first page (if I hadn't been already). I was pulled in and read furiously until there was nothing left and I still wanted more.

Still Into You picks up shortly after the last book ends and we are thrown right back into Mia's struggle to fix herself. She knows she needs to focus and get back on track but doesn't know quite where to start. To say she was a hot mess in this book is a vast understatement. But I loved every angsty moment of it. There were multiple times where I kept thinking, don't do it Mia, don't do it! And she went right on and did it. As she continues to spiral out of control everyone around her is affected by her actions. I really felt how much the back and forth of her struggle tormented her. Mia really had to dig deep and find her inner strength to battle the demons of her past. I loved how she channeled her hurt and pain and used it, positively at some points, in her music. I also admired that she did it at her own pace and not how or when everyone else thought she should. I honestly had no clue how she was going to climb out of the hole she dug for herself. Both fortunately and unfortunately a tragic event forces her hand.

While Ethan and Mia are apart for most of the book they are never from their thoughts or hearts. Their love is still strong and pulling them back towards each other. I loved getting snippets from Ethan's POV. Seeing Mia through his eyes instead of hers was a nice change of pace. He was struggling as well during their separation but seemed to handle things slightly better. However, witnessing his breakdown when Mia hit rock bottom tore at my heart. His patience and unrelenting devotion to her is what really endeared him to me in this book.

I loved that the rest of the gang was there too. Everyone from Allie to Marc to Luke and Kaitlyn made an appearance. I love how they all rallied around Mia and Ethan as they fought their way back to one another. Luke proved how much he wanted to see his two best friends happy by helping Mia execute her plan. I loved seeing her fight for Ethan and the future they wanted. Just when things were looking better for Ethan and Mia, a surprise comes out of nowhere. This was yet another unexpected twist and introduced a whole new character to the mix; one that could either propel Mia forward or send her stumbling backwards.

If you like your books full of angst, drama, love and pain then this one is definitely for you. There are some heavy subjects covered in this book in much more detail than the first. So if drugs are a trigger for you, well, you've been warned. That being said, Ryleigh Andrews handled that topic with great grace and care. There was potential for it to go very differently than it did but she managed to make it equal parts gritty and relateable. While Still Into You doesn't really end on a cliffhanger, Ethan and Mia's story is still incomplete. Now I am, not so patiently, waiting for the next book in this remarkable series.

This book was exhausting. I'd give it 2 stars but Ethan and Luke won t let me. The whole book is a self pity party for Mia. I understand she was depressed she had issues a mile long but it gets frustrating to read so much hypocrisy from one character. She pushed everyone away, Ethan begged her many times to let him help her. I didn't understand her actions, she refused his help, his love but than she would get mad and sad when he did exactly what she asked. She is one of those annoying heroine that says something but expects the opposite. She blamed Ethan for all her wrong choices and Ethan was always apologizing and feeling guilty when Mia is the one who started the whole process. She had excuses for every bad choice she made, Todd, Tom, Josh. I tried so much to like Mia, understand her but she continually pissed me off. She sleeps around and apparently that's ok bc it's just sex for her although she later admits to having feelings for Tom and Josh, but when she learns that Ethan too has started seeing someone (they aren't together at this point, she broke up the engagement) she gets upset, plays the victim once again. Ethan feeling guilty about that, Luke making him feel guilty ab that annoyed me to no end. Yes, Ethan said he'd wait for Mia to get her shit together but she wasn't a Saint during this so called healing process of her. The therapy helped and she still didn't go to Ethan, she started to feel better but she chose to be with someone else. How long was Ethan supposed to wait for her, without her giving him a timeline and while being sexually active with other men. I think the book could have been shorter bc I got so bored with Mia's never ending issues. She broke up with Ethan so she can heal herself but she did nothing ab it she just dug herself deeper. I do want to see how their story ends, bc the author is very talented and the writing is good but the ending didn't give me much hope that I will enjoy the next book. It doesn't end with a big cliffy but it does put Mia in a sad situation again. I'm so tired of reading ab her issues and never ending problems, half of those she creates in her head. She is stronger now I would like it if for once she was there for Ethan. He never gave up hope and I felt she never support him or his career bc she was too wrapped up in her own drama. I hope to God book 3 won t be more of the same old same old. I'd like to see a role reversal where for whatever reason Ethan would need her and I'd like to see her be strong for him, support him and fight for them. The whole "Mia is having a crisis and Ethan holds her hand" is getting old.

What do you do when one of your favorite authors messages you and asks you if you'd like an ARC of her upcoming book?!? If you are like me, you do a happy dance in the middle of the baseball field parking lot that you are standing in...while your kids and friends look at you like you've grown a second head!!

To say that I have been excited for this book is a serious understatement. I absolutely adored Mia and Ethan (and Luke!!) in book one, Bring Me You, and have been *patiently* waiting for this book.

Sometimes a sequel can feel rushed. Sometimes a sequel can feel bland in comparison to how you have built it up in your head. Sometimes it's just not the amazing piece of work you have built it up to be in your head while you've been waiting for it. This is NOT one of those times.

Ryleigh has a gift with words. She takes her imagination, uses post-it notes, sprinkles it with freaking awesome...and weaves a gut-wrenching, beautiful story about love, friendship, growth, and of people finding who they are.

When I finished Bring Me You, I thought I was never going to stop crying. I had to have book two. I had to know!!! Mia is so beautifully broken and she recognizes that she cannot give all of herself to Ethan...and we see the relationship begin to crumble. We are left wondering what will happen to these two gorgeously broken characters who we just KNOW should be together, but just can't get on the same page.

When I started Still Into You, the emotions all flooded back. By page 4, I found myself highlighting like crazy...and I already found myself in tears. I love these characters. I love the writing. I love the emotions and how Ryleigh makes me FEEL throughout the book. Will these two get it together? (I should add there are a few instances where I wanted to reach through my Kindle and smack one or the both of them...but trust me...the angst...the emotions...the FEELINGS... they're all worth it!!)

"Look at me," he ordered, waiting for her eyes to find his. "I love you, Mia Devereux. Remember that. Whatever you go through, I will always love you."

I cried. I laughed. A lot of each if I'm being honest here.

And I am utterly jealous of everyone who gets to read this for the first time and feel all of the feelings of the first-time read.

She's done it again. Ryleigh is a freaking rock-star author and an absolute immediate one-click (even if it is her to-do list printed out on pink post-it notes...I'll buy it!).

The journey is worth it. I'm so excited to see what she comes up with next. <3

*An e-ARC was provided via Love Between the Sheets Blog in exchange for an honest review*

This book ruined and repaired me. I honestly thought all of my feels were unleashed on Bring Me You but then I read Still Into You and it gave me more. The plot went way beyond the complicated long-distance love between Mia and Ethan and delved into individual issues. With all the revelations in this book, the author has successfully left me heaving and craving for more.

This woman without fail always ignited his fire. He was insta-start and she was the match.

Even if Mia Devereux was at the peak of her rock star life and the center of the limelight, she found her past slowly catching up with her and blurring her future. Mia was such a moving character in this book. The scenes that challenged her weaknesses and how she coped with them made the story more enthralling and engaging. Being inside Mia’s head was beautifully painful and poignantly real. The author did an incredible job in making each of her emotions wonderfully felt.

“I love you, Mia Devereux. Remember that. Whatever you go through, I will always love you.”

Ethan Christopher knew Mia was his forever. He knew it will ruin him if he loses her in his life so he decided to give way to what she wanted—even if it meant being away from her. What I loved about Ethan’s character was his persistence and his unwavering love for Mia. It wasn’t just his charm and looks that gave him away but his eternal understanding and patience to give Mia what she wanted and needed.

He was meant to be with her—forever this time.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book. I couldn't out it down when I started reading it. Having a clear background on the first book made the impact of Still Into You more uplifting. This book has a rich plot and amazing characters. I loved every speck of imperfections the characters possessed. They make mistakes, they get tempted, they doubt, and most importantly, they learn. That makes the story more grounded in reality, unpredictable, and inspiring.

There were a lot of elements of truth and reality in this book. Pain, drugs, sexual innuendoes, temptations, and the real meaning of true love. Ryleigh Andrews knows how to deliver a sensitive storyline with a careful and gripping writing prose and characters that I can’t get enough of.

Ryleigh Andrews blew me away with Bring Me You Book one in the Never Over You Series. I was hooked from the first page. THEN she brought us Still Into You Book two and she now knocked me flat on my @ss!

At the end of Bring Me You, both Mia and Ethan were hurt, lost and confused in their own ways. After the fight in Sydney, when he didn’t visit her in New York, all of it triggered feelings from her traumatic childhood. Both had made several mistakes and essentially leaving them strained by the end of Bring Me You. In this book we experience, hurt, turmoil, tragedy and loss. There was so much grief and a rollercoaster of feelings in this one.

In Still Into You, which picks off essentially right where Bring Me You ended, Mia is trying to fix herself. She feels like until she fixes herself she can’t fully give herself to Ethan. But my oh my fixing herself is an uphill battle because its more than just Mia’s past she has to overcome. Falling into old habits, Mia turns back to the only thing that can calm her (besides Ethan) Booze and Drugs. After one bad night with her friend and band mate Todd, things took a drastic turn for the worst. Mia’s life spirals out of control and only she can bring it back. Will another setback drag her even further down?

Things have always been rocky when it comes to Mia and Ethan. They both clearly love each other and want to be together. But as time goes by, will it to be too late to make things right? Will Ethan move on in his life? Will Mia ever overcome her fears of the past and find herself once again?

I laughed, screamed at my kindle a few choice words and cried. I loved really loved what Ryleigh did with this story. Certain scenes in it totally ripped me apart. Be ready to be wrung through a gamut of emotions in this one. Be prepared to fall in love with each character even more. Ryleigh has done an amazing job with the supporting characters in these books and it leaves you wanting to know more of each and every one of them. I want Luke, I want ALL the bandmates, and I want Allie stories!! Gimme, because I know they all have a story to tell!! 5 Stars ~ Copy Provided for Honest Review - Shera – Book Lovers Obsession

* I received an ebook in exchange for an honest review. *

This is book 2 in the series and the reader must read book 1 to really understand what is going on in this book. Plus book 1 was amazing so you should just read it anyway!! Author Ryleigh Andrews really touched on some hard issues in the book and she did it in such a respectful way! She was able to weave a story around drug/alcohol abuse, abandonment issues and an un-ending love and make it into an amazing 5+ star read.

Mia and Ethan are still trying to find their way back into each other's lives on a permanent basis. Mia is still trying to figure out why her mother left her and never looked back and why she loves Ethan with everything she has but feels like it isn't enough. Luke is still her best friend and he only wants what is best for her. The characters are so complex and dynamic that the reader can't help but want to help them, befriend them and at times slap them silly. The reader becomes emotional as they go through the story and find themselves alternating between yelling, screaming and wanting to throw things at all of the characters. There is so much emotion throughout this book that the reader feels like they are on overload at times.

The author really grabs the readers attention and doesn't let go until the last page, and even then the reader is still trying to figure out what will happen next. The main things you need to know before reading this book are: stock up on tissues, leave at least one day to just read, don't make any other plans once you start reading, and be prepared to be an emotional mess...

Make sure you add this one and the first one to your TBR list - this series will quickly claim it's spot on your top ten list! This is an amazing read and I am already looking forward to book 3 - I need answers and I need them now! An amazing author with a bright future ahead of her - enjoy this book and the previous book!!

Parts of this book pulled at my heartstrings and other parts made me so frustrated with Mia. After their short break, Mia decides that she can't stay with Ethan because it was not going to help her get better. She gives him back his engagement ring but he tells her that he will wait for her because she is the love of her life. Instead of doing things to help her get better to return to Ethan, she becomes very destructive. She turns to more drugs and alchohol and also to sex. She gripes and complains about why Ethan hasn't contacted her, but that is what she wanted and only has herself to blame. Her best friend Luke finds out about her new relationship and asks her what she plans to do about Ethan. She breaks off her secret relationship, which only causes her to get worse. An incident happens which lands her in the hospital. She is shocked that Ethan came to be by her side and when she is released, he lets her go in order to get better. He tells her that he still loves her and still wants everything that they had once talked about but she needs to better herself. She is in major denial about her problems. She tells herself that she knows what needs to be done and instead of doing it, she runs from her problems again. After another incident, she decides she finally wants to start getting better. She starts her slow process of healing herself. After two years of being away from Ethan, she finds out that he is finally moving on. She turns to sex to help ease her pain but after awhile discovers that it doesn't really help her with what she really wants. She finally decides once and for all that all that she really wants is Ethan and starts making major changes to make that happen. Just when you think that Mia and Ethan might finally have a chance of reconnecting, tragedy strikes Mia again.

I have been waiting for the release of Still Into You since the moment I finished reading Bring Me You, book one in the Never Over You series. The first book ended with a lot of unresolved issues and many things were left up in the air as far as Ethan and Mia's relationship was concerned. Still Into You begins a month later from where Bring Me You ended. Mia is trying to pull herself together and is still shutting Ethan out.
This story is a massive roller coaster ride of ups and downs for Mia. It is an extremely emotional read and I had to break out the tissues on more than one occasion. At times my heart broke for Mia because she is so lost. She knows she needs to heal herself but she doesn't know how to begin to do that. Though she has the best of intentions, she makes some really poor choices.
Ryleigh has created a wonderful cast of supporting characters and they all play a vital part in the story. I especially adore Mia's best friend Luke. Their friendship perseveres even though Mia has been purposely keeping distance between them. Whenever she needs him, Luke is always there for her. I love how we have watched their relationship evolve over the course of the two books, from exes/friends with benefits to purely platonic best friends.
In this book we are fortunate to get to read multiple points of view. I always appreciate when authors do this because we get to know what each character is thinking and we don't have to guess. The dual POV's was particularly helpful when Mia was making very questionable choices. We learn exactly what is going on in her mind to cause her to behave so destructively.
I absolutely loved reading this book and in my opinion, it even surpassed book one! I am looking forward to the next book in the series.
I'm giving Still Into You five stars for being an amazing follow up!

I received an arc for this book in a giveaway, and I am so thankful that I did. I finished the first one in one sitting, and immediately picked up this sequel. I would have read it in one sitting, but life got in the way. As it was, I read every spare moment and stayed up to finish it and write the review. Still on the same day as reading the first one. These characters have stolen my heart. And completely broken it. After the chaos of the first one, I hoped for a reprieve in the second book. No. It was just as emotional and raw as the first. Mia only slides further into despair. She is famous. She is everything millions of women want to be. No longer a starving artist she is successful and brilliant. And completely miserable. Fighting the demons inside her, she continues to push Ethan away. He goes on with his life, but his heartbreak is so painful to read about, and through it all, he always comes back to his "suga". What a man. I think the only thing I really didn't like in this book were the sex scenes involving Mia and other men. I didn't want her with other men. It hurt to read. She was so obviously meant for Ethan. Every time they came back together I cheered and hoped that finally they would work it out. But Mia had to face her demons on her own before she could allow Ethan back into her life. Perhaps a slight spoiler...Book two ends tentatively happy, but it' so hard to trust after all this couple has been through. I'm so sad that there is not a book three out yet to reassure me that they can make it through the coming obstacles life is throwing at them.

Still into you is the second book in the series.This is not a standalone and the first book should be read before you dive into still into you.When Mia watched Evan walk out of her life he broke both their hearts.To save her,hes giving her what she needs, time and space.Mia is trying to get her life back on track but shes struggling to overcome the darkness of her past and still shutting Evan out she knows she has to do it alone and on her journey she makes some decisions and choices that weren’t the best.Its not only Evan she keeps at arms length she also keeps Luke,her best friend at a distance but hes always there for her whenever hes needed.Although Mia is successful she has money shes in total misery she slides even further into booze and drugs and sleeping around.Evan tries to get on with his life the best way he can.After landing in the hospital Evan is there for her but he tells her he still loves and wants her but she needs to get better.After yet another incident she finally decides to get the help she so desperately needs can she finally start to work out her problems and lay her demons to rest has Evan finally accepted defeat and moved on or will he forever be waiting for Mia?
I enjoyd this read it took you on a whirlwind of emotions and you will needs tissues!!!The book is told in different povs which I always find refreshing and keeps things interesting by getting into more than just the one characters head.I look forward to the next instalment in this great series.

I've been dying to read this book since the moment I finished Bring Me You. I feel like I've been stalking Ryleigh's social media sites looking for any insight into how Mia, Ethan and the rest of gang's story would progress. After reading this book, I can say I was absolutely not disappointed!!

Like Bring Me You, I love that the chapters are written in differing points of view so we can really see the thoughts and emotions of the main characters. This book takes you through so many emotional ups and downs. I'm not going to give the story away, but there were so many times when I was reading that I wanted to slap Mia and tell her it was time to get her crap together!! Like real life, healing from emotional distress and depression is not a quick process. It takes the will to want the change, the courage to go through the process and perseverance to see it through. At times it was hard to be in Mia's head and the other's around her, but it was well worth the journey!! After being emotionally rung out over the course of this book, by the end, I was feeling so hopeful and excited to see where the next book will take us.

I read a lot, but this has become my favorite book series! Ryleigh has done an amazing job with these books. You wouldn't believe she is a new author with the quality and depth in these stories. I highly recommend reading this series if you haven't done so already and now I will try to patiently wait for book 3!!
