Linette Never Misses!
Linette said let’s skip the pleasantries, and came straight out the gate swinging with this one. These ruthless characters, mixed with the storyline of being kidnapped, placed in an abandoned building, not knowing who took you and why, set the tone for an amazing story. I loved every minute of this one, it gave me horror movie vibes with just the right amount of thrills and chills. The heartbreaking stories that were revealed as these kidnapped victims were forced to confess their sins will leave you speechless. I love the anticipation of Ward 13 as Linette keeps dropping little gems about that story. Looking forward to reading that next.

Quick review
As much as I detest the description "Chef's Kiss," Ms. King's latest short is the chef's kiss.
Ms. King's writing is like fine wine; she is just getting better with time. You can genuinely see her growth over the years, and I am here for it.
The end of Hide and Seek is Phenomenal, and I love how Ms. King is connecting her previous books with her newer ones.

Hide & Seek
2 words: Makayla Grant!!! She gives new meaning to savior complex! Then to find her assistant… when someone or something gives you a second chance you HAVE TO make the most out of it! If you don’t then this could happen to you!! I almost forgot about the winner of the game tho! I can’t wait only imagine what’s gonna happen back in Ward 13!

Twisted!
This was very different from the game i played growing up! Some people have some very vicious skeletons in their closets. It may be my dark sense of humor but, the ending was funny 😆

The main characters in Linette’s books be so out cold and ruthless!! Makayla was no joke.
