An excellent guide to the uniforms of World War II covering all the units and arms you would expect and some rare ones like the Albanian Italian Fascist Militia unit and the French Syrian Circassians! Some beautiful drawings and all colour. Would recommend to anyone interested in World War II.

This book, like all the others in the series, is a great general introduction to military uniforms of the period. As is the case with the other books, however, the proofreader should have paid more attention to ensuring that the captions matched the illustrations. If you are looking for a broad introduction to army uniforms of the period this is worth a look.

The drawings were good, the text was dull. Could have done with more pictures and less detail about insignias.
