Death Comes Inside Her

Rate this book
All she wanted was to save her home. Now, she’s engaged to a demon hell-bent on knocking her up.
Eve was minding her business, bleeding on ancient scripture like any isolated virgin in a decaying mansion might, when boom…a portal to Hell opened, and a seven-foot demon with a barbed, sentient c*ck stepped through ready to wife her up.

Aios is not subtle. Not gentle. And definitely not human. But from the second he scents her purity, it’s game on. She’s his now. It’s fated, mated obsession, and zero protection.

Lock the doors. Drop the panties. He’s about to put a baby in her belly and a ring on her finger. But this demon broke the rules when he fell in love. Will these star-crossed lovers have what it takes to find their way to a happily ever after in this world or the down-under? Or will the devil take his due?

Author’s Note: Get your spooky on with this safe, over-the-top, fast-and-filthy demon/human love story that’s heavy on the smut and light on the plot. You’ll find an obsessed, unhinged alpha, a sheltered virgin heroine, and more underworld spunk than you can shake a summoning circle at. No cheating, double cherry popping and a happily ever after that lasts for eternity.

Since I was a little girl, I’ve made up stories. I would lay in my bed at night and before I knew what a trope was, I would make up these trope filled stories. Boy sees girl, boys falls for girl, boy saves girl….happily ever after. As I got older, the stories turned steamier and more intricate, but the basics never changed.

Now, my books are still full of romance but the naughty bits are naughtier, my hero’s are obsessed alpha types and my heroines are quirky, real women who come in all shapes and sizes.

So, sit back, banish the real world and get lost in some over the top romance with a heaping helping of hot. xoxoxo

Idk what I expected from this book besides pure smut, but it was honestly quick, safe and sweet. I definitely didn’t expect his cock to have a mind of its own and actually talk😭😭 It was lowkey cringe ngl.🤣

“My cock roars it’s curse words and begs, Hold there idiot! Let me savor this moment. This tight little human is about to snap me from your body but it’s a pleasure I will never find again. Fuck, our mate demon, our mate is a miracle.” 😭😭

To be honest, I read this while I was halfway asleep. So, I barely remembered what happened except our male lead is a demon and our girl bleed upon a book to summon her... Also there was a brief mention of a rat? What was that about?

The idea of the book was actually good. I would've enjoyed a longer version of this one, especially with the whole reaping plot. Heck, now that would be one interesting story.

All in all, it was okay. Nothing else to report here.

A bloodstained book. A portal to Hell. A demon who doesn’t ask twice.

Eve’s just trying to hold on to her family’s crumbling mansion when one accidental cut and an ancient text summon Aios, a seven-foot demon with no chill and one goal: her. He’s not here to negotiate. He’s here to claim. From the second he scents her, she’s his, ready or not.

Aios is dominant, overwhelming, and absolutely sure she’s his fated mate. Eve’s stunned, terrified, and into it in a way she can’t explain. What begins as fear burns into something hotter and deeper as their bond tightens and obsession takes root.

But Hell doesn’t bend for love, and when Aios disappears to keep a promise, the Devil comes knocking. Eve doesn’t shatter, she bargains. With power in her hands and immortality in her blood, she makes her own deal and claims the demon who would give it all up for her.

Eve starts as a sheltered woman bound by duty and fear, but claiming her own power transforms her into someone fierce, autonomous, and unstoppable. Aios shifts from a relentless, primal force into a devoted partner willing to sacrifice eternity for the family they build.

Their relationship starts with possession and instinct, then deepens into a fiercely bonded connection grounded in mutual obsession, emotional trust, and unbreakable loyalty through every dark choice.

A dark, steamy, obsessive fated mates monster romance with breeding kink, sentient anatomy, size difference, demonic bargains, and forced proximity, exploring obsession, identity, autonomy, transformation, power, and belonging. It’s about a girl who calls something dark and gets exactly what she needs, and a demon who remakes eternity just to keep her.

The Elevator Pitch: A summoning gone wrong opens a portal to Hell and delivers a seven-foot demon with one goal and zero restraint. What begins as raw obsession twists into something deeper as a sheltered human and a ruthless monster defy rules, break bonds, and burn down fate to stay together. This is a filthy, fated mates romance packed with primal need, sentient anatomy, and love that never asks permission.

Eve just wanted to save her crumbling family home. She didn’t expect her blood to summon a seven-foot demon with eyes like wildfire and a single-minded obsession that could shake the underworld. But from the moment Aios steps into her world, there’s no denying it — this is fate, chaos, and chemistry all rolled into one darkly delicious package.

What makes this story work is the balance between madness and meaning. Yes, it’s wild, wicked, and completely unhinged, but beneath the heat is a surprisingly tender thread — a story about belonging, about being seen and chosen in a world that’s forgotten you. Aios isn’t just a demon claiming a mate; he’s a creature who recognizes Eve’s quiet strength and worships it with total devotion.

Eve’s transformation from isolated, uncertain heroine to fierce, self-assured woman is what truly grounds the story. Her chemistry with Aios isn’t just about physical attraction — it’s about connection, trust, and surrendering to something that feels both terrifying and inevitable.

Dani Wyatt continues to prove she’s the queen of “too much — but make it beautiful.” She takes primal obsession, wraps it in wit, and delivers a story that somehow feels both sinful and sweet. If you love your romance dark, fast, and unapologetically extra, this book will have you fanning yourself one minute and clutching your heart the next.

Why You’ll Love It:
❤️ Over-the-top devotion that feels oddly romantic
🔥 Possessive, protective antihero who will literally cross realms for love
😈 A heroine who finds power in surrender and strength in vulnerability
💀 Fantasy, humor, and eternal love in one infernal package
💍 A happily-ever-after that truly lasts forever

At its core, Death Comes Inside Her isn’t just about a demon and a girl — it’s about finding light in the darkest corners, and learning that even the most unlikely love stories can burn brighter than the flames of Hell itself.

Look I hate to be the outlier here but this was just .... cringe IMO. I came in expecting some spicy primal smut, a dash of romance and maybe breeding kink.. I didn't get that.

First off the sentient penis.... I could not read that with a straight face lol. it's just so.. out of left field and every time it was mentioned I mentally chuckled (not the vibe I want with my smut. Plus the weird hanger on demon who keeps looking at / creeping on the main demon's cock was super weird to me.

Next there's the characters... which I couldn't get behind either. The demon is like 3000 years old but talks like a 20 year old frat boy with a daddy kink. the heroine has literally no personality aside from being TSTL, virginal and soft... that's it. The smut was just ok but with the random Daddy stuff I cringed a lot.

The whole thing ready like a campy satire or joke of some sort and I just could not get into it.

Wow, this was certainly a very interesting read. Very different than what I have read from Dani Wyatt before. I didn't think death and evil could grow a heart and love, but Aios certainly did! He mixed pain with pleasure and Eve fell in love. Trying to get a visual of what Aios looked like and what he was doing to Eve was a little challenging but fun. Eve was everything to Aios and not even the devil was going to keep them apart.

I'm obsessed with these two!
Aios and Eve are spicy together. The demon was obsessed the moment he was brought back with her blood. I loved their story! It's quick and so steamy.
If you need a spooky romance with lots of smut, check this book out! It has some really nice tropes, including an obsessed demon ready to risk it all for his mate.

I loved it, wasn't sure what to expect to be honest but I loved it. It was a real page turner, had a hard time putting it down. Would definitely recommend to anyone who loves it dark but not too dark. Definitely a must read.

Death Comes Inside Her is the first book in the Boned Deep series by Dani Wyatt. I didn't know what to expect when I chose this book, but I'm glad I did. It is a truly enjoyably spooky read. Aios and Eve made a cute couple. Loved it.

So much in a short story

Eve is the FMC trying to save her home. Aios is the demon MMC she summons. There is instant chemistry and heat. Among the spicy scenes you see them form a true connection and root for their HEA. Ngl this is one of my favorite must read authors. I've loved everything of theirs I've read and always look forward to finding more from them.

Aios and Eve burn brighter than a star. Together they are the perfect combination of good and evil and when a demon mates it's for eternity. I really loved this and hope to read more of these tales of demons finding mates. Dani Wyatt knows how to make you crave a little depravity in romance.

That was one of the most interesting books I've read. I gave this book a shot, it's usually not my cup of tea. Its an overall good story. It's doing exactly what it's supposed to do. It's short and spicy.

Fast, fiery, and a little bonkers, this demon‑centric romance leans hard into steam and humor over story heft. If you’re in the mood for an OTT paranormal fling that doesn’t take itself seriously, it hits the spot.

The disappointment this book caused was unbelievable. How do you fumble it this badly? The spice wasn’t spicing, the FMC was useless, and she felt completely emotionless. The only time we saw even a bit of personality from her was when she made that deal.

I've enjoyed all of Dani's books, the Boone Brothers are still my favorite. I usually prefer contemporary, so this was a bit different for me.
