Absolutely outstanding work. The author draws together so many threads of American history, society and politics and more. And all those threads come back to The Barn and the immediate geographical area. This a a must read for anyone interested in the history of the Delta area, the development of racism and the fight against it and the injustices and wrongs that existed and continue to play out against minority and deprived groups around the world.
