I was supposed to write an exposé on billionaire Harrison Blackstone. The man who built an empire from nothing and doesn’t believe in love. But the more I dig into his world, the more I want to stay. Especially when he looks at me like I’m the one secret he can’t control.
Then there’s Rafael Mercer, his bodyguard. Quiet, protective, and dangerous in ways I can’t resist. And Lucien Moreau, Harrison’s French business partner and international playboy. A reckless investor with a wicked smile and a talent for sin.
The four of us. No rules or limits. And one story I was never meant to tell.
What started out as a simple assignment soon becomes an obsession. A tangle of lust and loyalty that could ruin us all. Can I keep my heart out of the story I’m writing? Or will love be the one headline I never saw coming?
BILLIONAIRE WITH BENEFITS is an extra spicy billionaire reverse harem romance. There’s no cheating, no cliffhangers—and a guaranteed HEA!
Cassie Cole is a romance author living in Norfolk, Virginia. A polygamist/polyamorist at heart, she thinks Romance is best when served in threes, fours, and fives!
Caroline Fairfax is a journalist and the financial news lead for the Wall Street Journal. She is a tough and savvy New Yorker, not easily snowed by seemingly good intentions of the rich and famous, especially not from those whose assets are in the billions and they co-own a hedge fund firm. One member of this elite that is particularly questionable in her eyes is Harrison Blackstone (a.k.a the Billionaire God of Wall Street), co-owner of the New York investment firm Blackstone & Moreau. Caroline has written multiple unfavorable pieces in the Journal about Harrison's firm. While at a charity gala with her boss, Caroline finally gets to meet in person the object of her sharp and lashing words.
Harrison Blackstone sees the editor of the Wall Street Journal at a charity event standing with a woman he's intrigued to meet. To say he's shocked to learn that she's Caroline Fairfax, his literary nemesis and author of many unsavory articles about him, is an understatement. He is immediately struck by how gorgeous, intelligent, and blunt she is and decides he has to get to know her better. When the Journal donates a 3 page article about a person or firm for the charity to use in their live auction, Harrison couldn't resist bidding $2 million to ensure that he wins and for Caroline to author the story. When they finally meet up to begin writing the article, he propositions her with an obscene amount of money to forgo the Journal article and instead author his biography. Caroline grudgingly agrees.
Rafael is Harrison's Head of Security and longtime friend. They both go way back to their humble beginnings when Harrison struggled to make ends meet. There is no one that Harrison trusts more than Rafael.
Lucian Moreau is Harrison's partner and co-owner of their investment firm. He is Parisian and born into a very wealthy family. While a fellow billionaire, Lucien can be a ruthless venture capitalist who is every bit as cutthroat as Harrison, but acts impulsively rather than methodically and calculating like Harrison. Where Lucien appears, chaos soon follows. Harrison grudgingly tolerates Lucien for his financial backing in their company.
While Caroline is working on interviewing and authoring Harrison's biography, she gets to know each of these three men. She and Rafael hit it off immediately. Their chemistry is undeniable. Not trusting billionaires, her relationships with both Harrison and Lucien are slow to form. Their trust must be earned. As Caroline starts to truly get to know each of the men, will she be able to resist giving each of them a piece of her heart? As feelings develop will she be able to pick just one with whom to explore a deeper relationship? As opinions shift, will Caroline be able to maintain her sharp, critical edge or will she lose sight of the tough and savvy financial journalist inside?
I love the way that author Cassie Cole wrote this book. She introduces the men in such a way that both Caroline and the reader get to know each man in a slow reveal. With the exception of Rafael, Harrison and Lucien are both enemies who are slowly chipped away to reveal their true inner selves and win Caroline's trust and eventual affection. Rafael is a no-nonsense ex-military bodyguard. He shows a ruthless side to all except Harrison and eventually Caroline. Typically within the RH genre, introductions and attraction quickly leads to steamy sex scene after sex scene. In "Billionaire with Benefits", instead of the insta love and explosive sexual chemistry right out of the gate, this story is built around being a slow burn flamed by attraction. We get to really know each character and what drives them before the characters give into their basic instincts. One by one they fall for each other. If you're here for the smut, no worries, there's plenty of between the sheet / atop the table / on a yacht action to keep you satisfied. But if you also want some more depth in your story, this book is a definite winner! I truly enjoyed reading every page of this book.
Narcissist Billionaires, Jetsetters and Their Biographer
Caroline is a finance reporter for the Wall Street Journal. She and her articles are brutally honest and she never sugarcoats anything. One of her ‘favorite’ targets is Harrison Blackstone and his company Blackstone & Moreau. Caroline actually meets Harrison face to face at a charity event he and his bodyguard, Rafael, are attending. The WSJ is offering a feature article to the winner. It isn’t just a feature article, but one written by Caroline. 🤨 yeah, you get it now. Harrison bids two million dollars and wins the auction. Harrison wanted to win the auction for at the very least, good press. Rafael thinks he’s lost his mind. When she arrives at his office to discuss what he wants her to write, he stuns her by saying that he wants her to write his biography. 😶
The Moreau part of Blackstone & Moreau is Lucien Moreau and he lives in Paris, France. He, like Harrison, is a billionaire, only a different flavor of one. Unlike Harrison who earned his billions with work, Lucien inherited his billions. Lucien is generally a hands off partner with Harrison but sometimes gets bored enough to “poke the cat”. Because he did so, Harrison and Rafael sweep Caroline away for a last minute (for her) trip to Paris on his private jet. Lucien is charming, handsome and rich. He’s also a narcissist, as his family has had centuries to grow their wealth and has no problem claiming he’s of ‘Old Money’.
I must be honest here. For me there are more questions from reading this story than answers found in reading it. Regardless of my age, at no time have I or anyone I know been able to drop everything to leave the country for a few days. Now that I’m old(er) I definitely can’t just take off. Also, regardless of whether you take a private jet to Paris, you cannot enter the country without your passport or official papers. So there’s no way Caroline could just jump on a plane without knowledge of where they are going without being at least semi-prepared. As for Lucien and his family’s centuries of wealth? How did his family survive the Terror? Sorry, that was my first thought when I read that. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
As I’ve said before, I really like Ms. Cole’s books and have purchased many of them. I disliked both billionaires and when I finally began to like them, I started to dislike Caroline. I was frustrated reading the story. The only part I can say that I unequivocally love in this book is that Caroline is a Lord of the Rings fan. 😊

Caroline Fairfax is a financial journalist for the Wall Street Journal. She is attending a charity ball on a Friday night. Harrison Blackstone just walked in. He is one of the partners of Blackstone & Moreau, the youngest, fiercest investment firm in New York. He comes up to Eddie, Caroline’s boss. Eddie introduces Harrison to Caroline. It does not go well.
After dinner is an auction. The higher-ups at the Wall Street Journal are auctioning off a three-page piece written by Caroline. When Harrison realizes that Caroline will be writing the article, he bids two million dollars. Harrison was intrigued by Caroline when he met her which is one of the reasons he bid for the article written by her. Rafael Mercer is Harrison’s friend and head of his security team. They have known each other for almost a decade. When they get back to Harrison’s penthouse, Rafael comments that this is probably not a good idea.
Caroline drags her feet as far as the “puff piece” on Harrison as she calls it. However, the higher-ups have decided that she can not procrastinate anymore. She meets Harrison for dinner. Instead of just doing an article, Harrison asks Caroline to write his biography. She agrees. After Caroline leaves, Rafael comments that Caroline is not going to make it easy on Harrison. Harrison feels that he is up for the challenge.
Lucien Moreau is the other half of the investment firm. He is a Parisian venture capitalist. He is from old money and tends to do whatever he wants sometimes losing money when investing in pet projects. Caroline ends up on Harrison’s private jet going to Paris to see Lucien.
I had a feeling that Caroline was going to be over her head with these three men. I like that she is a feisty woman and journalist. I loved that she did not back down from Harrison or Lucien. Interesting, twisted story.

I thoroughly enjoyed the story of Caroline Fairfax, who is a reporter for the Wall Street Journal and is introduced to Harrison Blackstone, who a billionaire and is the CEO of Blackstone & Moreau, a financial consultant and his personal bodyguard Raphael Mercer. Both men are instantly attracted to her, but she hates them both and what they represent when she is introduced to Harrison‘s French partner, Lucien Moreau she recognises him as a billionaire playboy and holds him in, just as much contempt as Harrison. She’s conned into doing a biography on his life, both personal and professional. She doesn’t realise how important this will be in her life as she grows closer to all three men. This story was very spicy and full of action, as well as lots of drama in this romance, but eventually everything worked out and they go on to have their happily ever after for now.

Caroline is a journalist she has written many reviews about investment companies and those that own them. Having written about Harrison Blackstone previously he now asks her to write his biography as he is confident she will tell warts and all. She is reluctant as first but then agrees. As she works alongside him and his bodyguard she sees the truth about the real Harrison and how he operates. She slowly warms to both Harrison and his bodyguard Rafael. A relationship starts between her and Rafael. Whilst in France she meets up with Lucien, Harrison's business partner and has a one night stand with him. As the story unfolds she finds herself in bed with Harrison too. When a scandal breaks Caroline has the dilemma of does she stay with new found relationship or does she leave and if she stays with her threesome work out? Caroline is a journalist for The Wall Street Journal. She is strong armed by her boss into attending a charity function with an auction item that she is responsible for writing. This should not be a big deal but action item is won by an investment firm/CEO that she is not crazy about. Caroline has a strong set of personal values and she is known professionally for maintaining those values and not bending. This is one of the reasons Harrison Blackstone of Blackstone & Moreau bids and wins this article opportunity. This story build as it unfolds, the characters find themselves learning about themselves and each other and of course, a whole lot of steamy goodness to keep you turning the pages. Enjoy!.

Fun, Flirty, and Totally Addictive! Cassie Cole never disappoints, and Billionaire With Benefits is another irresistible page-turner! The chemistry between the characters is off the charts—equal parts sweet, spicy, and emotional. I loved the mix of humor, heart, and heat, and the way Cassie blends friendship and passion into something that feels real and exciting. If you enjoy sexy billionaire romances with strong heroines, playful banter, and plenty of steam, this one’s a must-read. It’s pure Cassie Cole magic from start to finish!.

This was a fun enemies to lovers romance for reporter Caroline and Harrison, Raphael, and Lucien. She's tasked with writing a bio on Harrison's life but she really doesn't like him, or Raphael, based on what they represent. However, the longer she's around these men, the more feelings bloom. I love that this exciting read, filled with action and drama, let them overcome their differences while still keeping their beliefs intact. Expect to really feel the heat as they work their way to a fab HEA. Good fun!
Caroline is a writer for the Wall Street Journal who detests Harrison who is a billionaire. She writes often about how awful Harrison is. They finally meet at a charity fund raiser. Rafael is Harrison's head of security and is a close friend too. Several attempts on his life recently. Caroline ends up having to write a book about Harrison's life and she's not very happy about it. Lucien is a French billionaire partner in Harrison's business. Very hot men who have relations with Caroline.
Great story. I loved reading Caroline's story seeing how her relationships both professional & personal was going to be with Harrison. There was a spark with Rafael that grew quickly but he didn't feel confident that she wouldn't choose Harrison over him but there's also Lucian who could rock the boat. There is a lot of steam, sass, but also a caring, sweet friendship that only grows & ypu will be as addicted as i was to see how all 4 of them could be together.

I am sure there are many out there who will love this book. However, I am not one. I did not like the FMC as it seemed like it was all about her. The billionaires started out kind of narcassistic but then I started to see the good in them. I just couldn't seem to connect with these characters or the plot. Hope others enjoy it better.

It was written in quite hurry I believe, there were quite a many typos. Overall the book was good. Well as much as it can be. I do love Cassie's reasearch. We can clearly see it was well reasearched though I think the new trends has been influencing her writings as the whole "I'd burn everything for her" thing is something new I've read in her book overall it was a good read. I've finished it in 1 day.
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review. I enjoyed this steamy story where in the end, they all maintain their morals and beliefs when problems come up. I liked how the relationships between Caroline, Harrison, Rafael and Lucien came about and how they fell for each other. The relationship makes each of them better.
This book was so good. Caroline is a journalist with principles. Rafael is a bodyguard and head of security. Harrison is a billionaire and CEO. And Lucien is a French billionaire playboy. Caroline ends up finding herself in some interesting situations between all these men. I loved the flow of the book and how everything was written. Great book!
Caroline is determined to bring Harrison and his business to it's knees. But at what costs? Rafael and Lucien are a part of Harrison's life. And more she becomes involved in writing this expose more of herself is revealed. The question for Caroline is what does she want and not want to now expose? Good read.
Billionaire With Benefits is a RH romance that will set your sheets on fire. The dynamic at play between Caroline, Harrison, Lucien and Rafael is sizzling hot and steamy. The story is solid and entertaining. Overall it was a good read.
I thoroughly enjoyed this book. Even though it was a reverse harem book, it still had a great story line, awesome character development, and the sex scenes were done very tastefully. I will def be reading more books from this author.
Wow!! I really enjoyed this rh story. It hooked me from the beginning. I usually can guess how a story will go but lots of this story surprised me. I want to be Caroline!!!!
I enjoyed billionaire with benefits which was Harrison and Caroline’s story. It was an entertaining read. I received an early copy. And voluntarily leaving this review.
Yes yes yes! An actual story with relatable characters even if they are billionaires. I devoured this book & Really want more. So excited to continue on with this author.
Enemies to lovers 4 stars - Harrison was always the target of Caroline’s articles in the newspaper. He won an auction that will give him access to the newspaper and he demanded that Caroline write the article but somehow it ended up with a biography deal which put Caroline in constant proximity to Harrison. In turn, it puts her in constant proximity with Rafael too, Harrison’s head of security. This also puts her in Lucien’s radar who is Harrison’s long distance business partner. As Caroline spends time with Harrison, she begins to have doubts about her initial assessment of his character. The story is interesting but hard to believe that two billionaires are vying for one woman’s attention. However, that’s not why readers will pick up this book. The story is full of steam and there is enough business background in the story to give it a bit of content. It’s enemies to lovers romance x 3. I received an advanced copy and voluntarily chose to review it.
