Born and raised in the Pacific Northwest; Aaron Mitchell and his wife continue to reside in this beautiful area of the world.

After going to college with the intentions of becoming an accountant, he takes a drastic turn in career choices and becomes a licensed massage therapist instead. During this time Aaron travels the world with his wife and friends experiencing anything new and different. Aaron has also had a series of colorful side jobs from a ranch hand to a catastrophe insurance adjuster all for the sake of experiencing something different. Currently Aaron is a licensed mental health counselor.

But most importantly; what started as a brief study of his Native American heritage turned into a life altering change of learning the traditions of Native Spirituality. This life long commitment and adventure is loosely depicted in his book 'Death of an Ordinary Life'
