Prynceton Masters has an envious life. Money, power and an endless supply of women is his exception .
Stacking money and charming ladies are the only consistency Prynce welcomes in his life, until a woman unlike any other catches his eye.
If you asked Prynce about love at first sight, he would tell you it only exists in the eyes of the same fools who believe they can take his top spot but, she, has him reconsidering.
An unexpected shift has Prynce moving his focus to a beautiful woman who has become his priority, with the understanding that the game has changed and so has her future.

Prynceton, the middle brother of the Master's sons has been intrigued with Safari from the first time he set eyes on her. Dating and relationships aren't really his thing, so he doesn't pursue her right away. Safari, gave damsel in distress vibes and it was very clear she was running from something. Prynce's family likes her a lot and insists on looking out for her, helping lighten her load as she becomes a new mother. It's at this time Prynce feels like he needs to know more about her, to ensure his family is safe but also because he too feels drawn to her. I liked the mcs. I liked how patient Prynce was with her and how their relationship evolved over time. How he slowly began shifting from fkboy to committed boyfriend and father figure. Their connection was sweet.
I loved the family. Nan was my favorite and Everytime she called Safari by a different name I cackled hard; Jungle book sent me. It was sweet how they welcomed Royal, and it wasn't lost on me that his name fit right in with the brother's.
The story itself was somewhat all over the place and I feel like it didn't quite all come together. The weird situation at his club was never resolved. The situation with Dexter was very anticlimactic, I feel like Safari deserved to at least face him. Her mother seemed very attentive and I didn't understand that situation at all, I feel like that could have been more fleshed out. The Tyleek situation was swept under the rug and that didn't seem realistic.
Overall, it was okay. It had great potential but didn't quite come together.
Prynce was real hood, and super cool at the same time. I only had one little teeny issue with the the story with the excessive usage of the b word. Don't come for me, as it is my preference to not use that type of language. Overall, I enjoyed meeting Safari, Royal and Prynceton.
I haven’t read anything from T’Lyn before and this was a good start for me to want to read more! I love a good stepdad situation and that’s exactly what Prynceton was giving! Safari folded and I don’t blame her! I enjoyed seeing Safari open up to living more after being on the run from her past. I also loved how Prynceton’s family stepped in to be there for Safari! The grandma messing up Safari’s name always tripped me out lol. Now I will say there were a few moments I was like this is unrealistic BUT it’s a book so I’m rocking lol. Overall a good story and I’m looking to read more from T’Lyn and to figure out what happened to the brother 👀. Definitely a mini cliffhanger for the next story but this love story is complete.
Because It’s Forever, the highly anticipated follow up story to I’ll Be The One, it captured my attention from the beginning and held my gaze until the end. I was interested in knowing more about Safari and Prynceton. I knew they would end up together because Prynceton was so smitten with her, but witnessing their love unfold was satisfying. For a while, I was worried about Pryce. It seemed like he had a savior complex and I wondered if he wanted to have what Kyng and Destiny had, but that was not the case. My boy was head over heels in love with Safari and by the end, he proved to me that he wasn’t acting and his feelings were real.
Prynceton Masters is the second born and hands down my favorite brother. He is the head of The Lord’s, a business owner, and marches to the beat of his own drums. He is very sensitive and doesn’t take well to being ordered by anyone. One thing I love about Prynce is that he has an innocence to him when it comes to relationships. I could tell he wanted to do right by Safari and it started by tying up those “loose ends”. He is top 2 and not number 2!
Safari Moss was such a mystery in book one; I couldn’t wait to know more about her background. She is pregnant and alone in a new city- that was a huge red flag. After learning about her childhood and the things she endured, my heart ached for her. I had to give her grace because she was jaded and very guarded with telling her story. But I think the change in environment was just what she needed. The Master’s proved that they were nonjudgmental and accepted her with open arms. The way they protected Safari and baby Royal was admirable- the village she needed. And even with her baggage, Safari is the only one who can tame Prynceton.
The chemistry between Prynceton and Safari oozed from the pages. From the moment Prynceton was in the delivery room with her, I knew he was going to protect her by any means necessary. They were so stinking cute!! I truly couldn’t take it and found myself smiling so hard. Prynceton was a safe space for Safari, he constantly checked in with her and constantly reminded her that she was in control. It was those mindful moments that solidified Prynce as bae! I haven’t rooted for a couple to be together in a long time, the way I wanted them together.
While there are moments of heaviness in the story, there were so many laugh out loud moments. Prynce and Nan were fools together but it was a good balance to the story. There were so many moments that had me swooning, but the trip to Dubai was my favorite part of the book! When you guys read it, it will make so much sense. That was a pivotal moment in the story. T’Lyn outdid herself with this story! It gave romance, urban, suspense, witty banter and flirting and that family and friends component that I have come to love. Absolutely amazing!
I read an unedited arc copy. All thoughts are my own.**
I love a good tension war as we act like we don’t want each other. Princeton is very unhinged and probably a lil dumb, why this man offer a pregnant woman a blunt while in labor 😂
One person I do not want to be is one of Prynce’s flings. That man is ruthless with the words. All smoke for anyone who isn’t his love interest. Him plus Nan is a whole roasting session. Safari the FMC was someone whole you just felt good helping. she was a sweet girl with a lot hiding in the shadows. On her own in a new place she found a group to treat her like family. It was fun reading the hot head brother fall in love. Would recommend this story to anyone look for a spicy read or looking for a of abrasive alpha with a soft spot for his lover
Prynce was a hoot. He fell for Safari quick and was not playing no games. I did want just a little more on-page bonding with him and Royal, we got it at the end but I wanted more. I think Dexter got off too easy, he shoulda been publicly humiliated then sent down below. Nan still my girl though and I liked seeing the Masters family as a whole. I do want to know who was sabotaging the club and why? Maybe we get into that in KaSyre’s book because I need to know
Can you say annoying??? OMG every minute she was crying and she seemed a little immature at times! Like the end of the book, how you stop your man from looking for his brother? It didn’t make sense! Then the whole “Dexter” situation! I feel like the climax for that scenario didn’t really reach its peak! The story telling was so lackluster and then he was just gone! Even Tyleek but okay I’m over it.
PRYNCE , My my my Safari , I love them!!!!! Man I’m still gathering my thoughts 🥰🥰
It really just keep getting better and better T’Lyn…. Girllllll ! I am hooked at this point . Prynce babbeeee so freaking charming and sweet that can act a fool and treat his woman like a Queen , mannnn this man!!! (RN )He was so good to safari 🥹 . Those Master men ! Lord definitely some brothers to remember , this story was everything , I can’t even go into all the details just get with it cause y’all will love them!!!!! ADD ADD ADD!!!!
Safari just sweetest little Angel her and royal how P was with them ! The whole family … you get it!!!
Nan is a fool…. You are going to be laughing a lot .
One of those book you are going to be smiling majority of the time..☺️
& mad when you read the end !! Cause man! I can read about this family all day long!!!😍
Prynce & Safari’s love story was a wild but good one. Safari went through so much before moving to Crescent Falls and I hate everything she went through. She was a spicy woman and I loved how she gradually learned to trust Prynce. She was a little too nice at times. Prynce was insane and delusional lol. That man didn’t care about anything. I loved how he came into Safari’s life and acted as a protector at any costs. Their love hit fast and strong and I loved seeing them progress with each other.
I feel like book 2 had more of a plot than book 1 of this series. We got to see some things happening other than romance that kept me entertained. There was an element of romantic suspense added as well. Nan and Prynce’s bond was so cute and hilarious. I also admired the Masters for everything they did for Safari with no questions asked. Dexter got what he deserved and maybe not enough! I was glad to see Safari grow a community and friendships!
One thing about the Masters men if your family or someone they care about they gone be there for you 100%. I tell you when Prynce was there with Safari during labor I could have died laughing. He ask the doctor would it go back to normal 🤣. Safari wanted to kill him. Between Prynce and Nan I don’t know who I love more. I just love their bond and the bond Nan was building with Safari.Them two getting locked up was hilarious. They didn’t think Prynce would be a one woman man but he was for Safari. She got her a hood man. Now I can’t wait to see how Royal gone be when he grows up. When Safari finally opened up to Prynce I was happy. Keeping something like that to herself didn’t do nothing but cause her more pain. The love and chemistry between Prynce and Safari is awesome. T’lyn girl keep up the good work. I enjoyed reading from the beginning to the end.
I have to say I am utterly proud of Prynceton. He did so much clowning in "I'll Be the One." It didn't seem he had a serious bone in his body. He literally grew into a man through the pages of this book. He took the time to put his antics aside to figure out what was going on with Safari. Now, his means of straightening a situation out was not the most conventional, but he got the job done. My heart broke for Safari because she was so fragile after what she endured being around her stepfather. She did get a beautiful blessing out of it by the name of Royal. Royal had a hand in aiding Prynceton maturing as well. Prynceton took the time to learn how to care for a newborn. He got advice from Nan, MyKyng, Destiny, and his parents. He learned how to be a father. He also put away his bachelor ways. He buckled up and settled down with Safari. His exes weren't the happiest and tried to stir the pot, but he shut that down quickly. Safari had a major win moving to Crescent Falls, although it was a desperate move. Her best friends Gia and Jarrad did her a solid. Not only did Safari gain a sisterhood with Constance, Destiny, and a few other ladies, but she also added a family to her personal resume. She needed all the love she could take from her newfound family and friends. Prynceton was not shy about what he would do for Safari. He tried to give her the world if she could have taken it.
Ms. T'Lyn, I am truly invested in this series because you are hitting tough topics. You went from an inherited blood disorder (sickle cell anemia) that affects approximately eight percent of African Americans to sex and human trafficking between MyKyng and Prynceton's book. I know that KaSyre's story is coming next, so I can only imagine what tough topic you integrate into that masterpiece. Ladies and gents get into this series it will have you yearning for more. The pages turn themselves.
The author misse a lot of opportunities to expand and explain her story lines. She wanted the Masters to be this elite group of dominant men but instead of describing them in ways that would give that energy she just said it. I was expecting Safari to confront Dexter, for there to be dialogue or a huge event. Tylerk’s disappearance also could have been giving more attention.
Prynce is my man, my man and my man. He was so hood. I love how he did not play about Safari at all. He took whatever came with her as his own: problems, drama or whatever. He was what she needed and she was what he wanted. I love that for them!
I liked this story but didn’t love it. I love the main characters as individuals but not sure if I liked them as a couple. They didn’t really seem compatible. Prynce is very in your face and aggressive, Safari isn’t like that at all. Jungle Book took me out!! Sapphire. Lion King. Sarabi. Nan was so hilarious. What happened with Dexter was too swift.
Safari was very green and didn’t have much experience, so I know she didn’t have a passport. So how did they go to Dubai? Not everything triggers a person but if Dexter called her babygirl I would think she wouldn’t want others calling her that. I didn’t really think we got answers to who was setting Prynce up. It doesnt seem like it would be brought up in Sy’s book because not a made man.
Liked it but didn’t love it. Another reviewer hit it on the head in saying that separately I liked them but didn’t really care for them as a couple. I think he was too aggressive (in general) and especially given her trauma. He had tender moments with her but idk something still felt lacking. I didn’t feel a lot of chemistry between them and idk how she even relented honestly. I thought maybe I zoned out when I was listening to it. There were also some unanswered questions for me regarding who was setting him up. I also wish that she had the opportunity to confront her past because I think it would have helped solidify her as a strong FMC. She was giving weakling to me a lil bit☹️
This book was a good read. It was Prynceton acting like his wasn’t wide open at first for me. He was so abrasive and I loved every second of it. And Safari was just the sweetest even though she had a lot of trauma. I loved how Prynce accepted Royal as his own that was the sweetest thing and how he protected and stayed on the straight and narrow even though it wasn’t necessarily in his nature was hard warming. As for the supporting characters I must say Nan is my favourite she cracked me up. Love it.
Sis you never fail me!!! Honey, Prynce tail was crazy asf but I loved every moment 🤣. He was on Safari bumper from the jump and want gone turn her loose. Baby girl had been through it and she was so strong!!! Royal gave he the strength she needed. Dexter got exactly what he deserved with his triflin behind smh. I felt bad that she never got to talk to her mother one last time. His and Jarrad are some REAL ones and I loved that for her. Prince and Safari love blossoming was so cute and I can’t wait to read about their wedding in KaSyre book. Amazing job as always T’Lyn !!!
We love Prince and Safari but Nan is the unexpected star of this show lol I want that lady to be my grandma. I really imagine her as Day Day’s neighbor in Next Friday mixed with some aunt bam! I’m obsessed with her and her name calling, smoking, and just overall shenanigans! Nan is an OG for real!
I enjoyed the soft side of Prince when it came out because my man was a lot okay! He’s definitely the more hood of the brothers. The whole series feels different for what I’m used to with T’Lyn but it in a really good way and I’m enjoying it!
Menace! Psychopath! That’s the best way to describe Prynce. The best kind of crazy. I’m so glad he got rid of Safari’s issue cause babygirl deserved grace and nothing but love. She really was a different kind of strong. Just know Prynce meant it when he said he would kill for her and I supported it. Nan was my favorite, that lady gave no f*cks and didn’t play with anyone. You should definitely read up on the Masters brothers
Girl 🥰 Prynceston plays too freaking much but crfu He acted a plum fool but I love me a unhinged BDE having man AND he loved him some Safari and Royal ! 😁 The way he loves his brothers 🥺💕 That touched a place deep in my soul. I cant wait for some more cameos from them in the next book. Definitely excited about Sy's story 😊
Another Masters brother bang!!! I think Princeton is my favorite❤. He was crazy, cut up bout Safari, hard on the hoes 😂 and a gun toting fool.👏👏The way he showed patience and loved ❤on Safari was everything. Nan 😂stole the entire show and it was good to see more of her in this story. Can't wait for the next Masters brother. Great read👏👌🙌
This was a feel good listen for me, not too many layers and the plot not that deep. However this book has been my favorite so far. Nan was like a female version of Uncle Lee Chester (a bit more gangsta) and kept me laughing. Prynce gave me another version of Laike and Lawe, he was definitely with the 💩. Will keep this in my listen while I work rotation.
I'm hot. Why you ask? Because Prynce made me hot. Give me all that man and his love, his humor and his ability to grow for the person he cared for. Baby I thought Kyng was it nope he is now second place and now little brother coming up. Again I'm hot!
Prynce is unhinged in the best way possible. Safari both is and is not a dummy. This book could have gone wrong so many times, but the author truly knew what we needed. I was cackling so much and just loved them💕
Nan is a trip she called Safari everything but a child of god lmao Prynce was really on her heels and I loved that I wish things would’ve dragged a bit more for Dexter like him being exposed or something but nevertheless unaliving him works too lol
