Wow. Talk about an intense beginning.
Can’t wait to see where this story goes. So much emotion already setting the stage.
Another winner from this fantastic writing duo and having Julia Whalen narrate was the icing on the cake.

3 stars! I enjoyed this short story and while I wish I knew more of the story, I wonder if I have the stomach for it. Human trafficking is always a really hard subject for me. But it’s well told story and you can’t beat Julia Whelan as a narrator.
