Havard masterfully discusses how magnanimity and humility are the two indispensable virtues for leadership. I liked how he linked them to the cardinal virtues, clearly explaining how these two are specific to leadership.

There is much that this short book has to offer. To anyone who wishes to grow in the cardinal virtues and adopt a mental ethic conducive to holiness - I'd highly recommend this. St. Paul calls us "not to be conformed to the world, but the renewing of [our] minds". Therefore, as we arise in a decadent world - we must commission ourselves to worthwhile reading and reflection. Our minds are akin to a fertile garden - where seeds of growth or destruction may grow. We should take heed then, what we allow into our minds. There is also a section at the end which includes some more practical tips for the pursuit of magnanimity and humility.

Great read!

Recomendo.

While I can't quite put my finger on it, I did not get a lot out of this book. In the end, it comes across as a lot of pretty words about leadership.

No me cogió mucho. Solo leí un capítulo.
