“Fear not, Breezy! The sheep farmers are here to save the day!”
I love sheep. That’s why I was looking forward to this book, which features a shepherd as the main character. There are indeed a few funny scenes involving the woolly troublemakers who are constantly running off, but as far as I’m concerned, the sheep could have played a bigger role.
The shepherd, Tad Hanson, 41, isn’t really a shepherd at all. After a terrible tragedy, he moved to Red Bridge, a small town in Vermont, and bought a sheep farm. He seems easygoing, charming, and jovial on the surface, but deep down, he’s profoundly broken. The FMC, though, finally manages to bring him joy and a new lease on life.
Breezy Bishop, 39, is a successful New York gallery owner. Her world is turned upside down when she learns that her late father has left the galleries she built to her youngest brother. She flees to Red Bridge to stay with her other brother Bennett (the MMC from book 1 of the series) and figure out what to do with the rest of her life.
Shortly after her arrival, Breezy and Tad begin an affair that—surprise!—quickly turns into something more. It takes quite a long time and involves various crises before they admit their love to themselves and to each other. Overall, their romance was decent, but something was missing. I just didn’t feel it, and I didn’t like that it took Tad so long to open up to Breezy and tell her about his past. On the other hand, I loved the dynamics within the Bishop family and the relationship between the brothers Tad and Randy.
Speaking of Randy—he was the most interesting supporting character in the book for me. I hope he gets his own story someday. However, next up is Logan, the “bad” youngest brother. Count me in!

Honestly, I loved being back in Red Bridge. I have missed everyone. You now have Tad, the hot sheep farmer, and Breezy with family braytral, not living with one of her brothers, and Sil, rebuilding her life.
I experienced so many emotions reading this book. I was angry, laughed, and cried, and ended with a heartfelt aww. I am completely obsessed and see a reread in my future.

We met them both in the previous books.
Tad is the very sexy and pretty talent-free sheep farmer with a mysterious sad past.
Breezy is Bennett's older sister. She used to run the family's art gallery empire. But after her dad died, he left everything to their younger Hollywood star brother.
Not knowing what to do with her empty life now as an almost 40 year old single woman with no job, she leaves New York and moves in with Bennett and his little family in Red Bridge, Vermont.
Why not start a little something with the most eligible single guy in town... she's not staying anyway, right?

Finally Breezy and Tad's story!
So adorable.
And funny and sparky and wintery and sheepy and so much more!
I just adore those cute small town romances.
There are also some very heartbreaking moments. I cried a lot!
We all know that Breezy's niece died two years ago, but Tad has some sad things in his past too.
But we love watching them help each other heal and start a new chapter in their lives ... even though Tad might not be ready yet and Breezy isn't really looking for anything serious.
I loved reading this.
I loved the family and small town moments.
Brothers Bennett, Logan and Randy, niece Autumn, the sheep, the 'paparazzo'. Just so many amazing moments in this book.
Wouldn't mind seeing this series on TV one day.

Well once again Max Monroe has took me back to Red Bridge with another great story that had me in all of my emotions! The way Tad had my heart in this one was incredible. That man right there my gosh my heart really went out for him. I just loved his character!
When Max Monroe writes it’s like they really throw you into this small town with these people and they don’t just become characters on a page no they become like family. When they hurt I hurt when they are happy I’m happy. And that’s what I have truly loved about this whole series and this book included!
I absolutely loved the only friends no strings attached trope in this one. Max Monroe 100% accomplished this trope so well. I just adored how Tad and Breezy were so completely opposites but they were literally made for each other. When together their chemistry was so perfect and steamy! Not only did Max Monroe have my heartstrings pulled tight but the humor in this one had me laughing my booty off!
I think this one is just such a good story in this whole series!

This series is full of emotional heartbreak. Book 1 was my favorite read in 2025. I love a book that can make me feel all the emotions. And book 3 did not let me down. After everything Tad has endured, Im so glad Breezy came in his life and gave him a HEA!!
P.s. It also made me want a Tom & Betsy of my own. ❤️

I don’t know why I was surprised when I read Max Monroe’s Where I Should’ve Been. Each book in the Red Brook Series has been emotional in varying ways, and Tad and Breezy’s story was no different. That’s not to say I didn’t laugh because this writing duo has that down!
Max Monroe wrote a multi-layered MMC. Tad seemed like such a jovial guy, but there was so much to him, and so much he was keeping buried. Tad and Breezy were very good together, and I enjoyed the story.

Third in a series where you should definitely be reading them in order, which I have. I don’t quite feel like the cast of characters for this series was strong enough to carry all of the books. I enjoyed the first book very much, but the second one wasn’t for me, and this third installment didn’t quite get me back to the good times. It is a series that deals with a lot of grief and tragedy, so perhaps that weighs it down for me from time to time. This isn’t what you should read if you’re wanting a romcom, which the covers somewhat lead you to believe. Ultimately, a decent read but not one I will recommend to all.

Breezy has left her dream job at the family gallery after pouring her blood, sweat, and years after her father leaves it to her younger brother. Feeling betrayed she makes her way to Red Bridge to stay with her brother. She doesn't expect to run into a drunk Tad the sheep farmer and his brother her first night in town but the gossip mill starts rolling.
Even though nothing happened that night Breezy and Tad find a friendship and decide something casual is the perfect distraction. Through time breezy opens up but Tad still holds back. These characters are funny and absolutely wonderful to read!

This is just the cutest, sweetest series ever. I’ve really enjoyed each of the books and this one is no exception.
Tad and Breezy are both so fun! Neither is looking for anything serious so they start to secretly hang out. Their text exchanges are flirty and spicy 🌶️ between all of the fun, both Tad and Breezy have some baggage to deal with together. And then there’s a little surprise towards the end….. 🤭
I loved the insights into where the other couples form this series are at 🫶🏻

What she didn't expect was to start a fling with her sexy, yet withdrawn neighbor, Tad Hanson. They agreed on having a no strings relationship, but things might get a little complicated when a nosy newspaper editor was on their trail and when something more started to blossom in their hearts. Which life will Breezy choose in the end?
This story was such a rollercoaster of feelings!! I truly haven't expected to be so emotional after that quite fun first part of the story. I was deeply connected to everything that these characters felt and it was heartbreaking to find out the details from their past. On the other hand, I had such a great time with Breezy and Tad, who were so much fun even from the start, having such an amazing chemistry and having a constant banter since Breezy has arrived in town. It was sweet to see how their "no strings" plan was starting to fail and how they were starting to grow feelings for each other. It was something which came so natural, even if they totally didn't expect to fall so hard for each other. Their secret fling was super captivating, loving that fun-sad entangled situation which was present in both of their hearts.
So happy that I was able to read this story in advance thanks to Hambright Pr, to whom I need to thank for accepting me for. Such a heartwarming story, with many hidden layers when it came to these character's lives.

Where I Should’ve Been was my first Max Monroe read and I completely enjoyed it!! I didn’t realize this was the third book of the Red Bridge series, but I was able to still follow the story easily, and I plan to go back and read the first two books in the series. I flew through the story loving the small town chaos, sibling relationships, dealing with the past and of course the sheep.
The romance between Breezy and Tad was perfection and I can’t resist a let’s be casual relationship turning into all of the feels. I also loved seeing their character growth as a couple and as individuals. They both had a lot to deal with and they were both characters that you can’t help but root for.

⤷ This book wasn’t bad, but it wasn’t great. I liked the characters and setting, but the writing and dialogue were subpar at times.
⤷ Characters: The characters in this book were good. I really liked Tad, despite some of his… questionable decisions (which were made because of reasons I recognize, but I’m still not sure if I completely agree with). Breezy, as well, was a good main character, and I liked her personality; I will say, it did fluctuate… in Tad’s POV he’s like “I admire her confidence.” and in Breezy’s POV she’s basically the opposite, saying things like, “For once in my life, I give up control” (not a real quote). So yeah, very contradictory. Besides the main couple, I think all of the characters were well-made and served their purposes well.
⤷ Setting: The setting was cute; I’m always a sucker for a small-town, one-big-happy-family vibe of a place.
⤷ Writing: I don’t really know how to explain it, but I wasn’t a huge fan of some of the writing. The different chapters, for one, kind of jarred me (I assume it’s because it’s two different authors? I know Max Monroe is two separate writers, but I’m still not sure entirely how cowriting works, and if it’s chapter-by-chapter or something else). I definitely liked the prose in Breezy’s chapters more; Tad’s chapters just felt a little surface level. Other than that, there were sentences and pieces of dialogue that felt weird, but none that I can name specifically without basically reading the whole book again.
⤷ Plot: The plot was fine; it wasn’t anything special for a romance book. There was one aspect thaf I wasn’t a HUGE fan of (I never am), which I’m forgoing for spoilers, but that’s more of a personal opinion so that’s on me. Otherwise, there plot didn’t really swing either way for me; I didn’t dislike it, but I didn’t find myself necessarily wanting to read it when I wasn’t.

⤷ Maybe! If you want an easy-but-slightly-traumatized small-town romance read, this book is for you! I think it fits a very specific facet of readers, so I wouldn’t recommend if you’re a broad reader looking to delve into romance; I don’t think this is the starter book for you.

⤷ Setting: The setting was cute; I’m always a sucker for a small-town, one-big-happy-family vibe of a place.
⤷ Writing: I don’t really know how to explain it, but I wasn’t a huge fan of some of the writing. The different chapters, for one, kind of jarred me (I assume it’s because it’s two different authors? I know Max Monroe is two separate writers, but I’m still not sure entirely how cowriting works, and if it’s chapter-by-chapter or something else). I definitely liked the prose in Breezy’s chapters more; Tad’s chapters just felt a little surface level. Other than that, there were sentences and pieces of dialogue that felt weird, but none that I can name specifically without basically reading the whole book again.
⤷ Plot: The plot was fine; it wasn’t anything special for a romance book. There was one aspect thaf I wasn’t a HUGE fan of (I never am), which I’m forgoing for spoilers, but that’s more of a personal opinion so that’s on me. Otherwise, there plot didn’t really swing either way for me; I didn’t dislike it, but I didn’t find myself necessarily wanting to read it when I wasn’t.

⤷ Maybe! If you want an easy-but-slightly-traumatized small-town romance read, this book is for you! I think it fits a very specific facet of readers, so I wouldn’t recommend if you’re a broad reader looking to delve into romance; I don’t think this is the starter book for you.

I didn't ugly cry this time, but my heart absolutely ached for Tad. Having grown up around firefighter families, I know the fear that comes every time the alarm goes off. What Tad experiences is truly heartbreaking, and his journey toward healing was hard earned.
Breezy was just as easy to root for. Even as an only child, I could relate to pouring everything into a dream only to have it ripped away without warning. Add in the family dynamics she has to navigate, and it makes her story even more emotional.
One thing I really appreciated was the reminder that so much pain can come from the things left unsaid. This isn't a miscommunication trope, it's just life. Talk to the people you love. Tell them how you feel. You'll never regret having those conversations.
Watching Tad and Breezy grow individually and together made it impossible not to cheer them on. And catching up with the rest of the cast felt like coming home. Seeing Autumn getting older and Josie's exciting news just made me love this little community even more.
Now, can we talk about the Logan and the best friend tension? 👀 Because if she was using Randy to make him jealous, I am officially putting in my request for that book next.

Terrified of having something to lose again, he pours every ounce of himself into his sheep. And there are a lot of sheep. They keep him busy, distracted, and safely away from anything that might break his heart again.
Then Breezy breezes into town in her fancy boots and designer clothes, and completely obliterates every plan Tad ever had to avoid falling in love. More than that, she gives him back the life he thought he’d lost… and somehow makes it even bigger and better than before.
This book takes you on an emotional whirlwind. A huge part of it is spent desperately hoping history doesn’t repeat itself because Tad deserves to be loved, and he deserves to love with that big, beautiful heart of his.
Needless to say, I adored this book. It ticked every single box for me, and I would’ve happily read another 200 pages.

The characters in Red Bridge are just so good. This town has a certain charm to it.
I loved Bea’s sex positive / female energy vibes. Talk about female empowerment. When she decided she wanted to hook up with Farmer Tad she got right to it.
Bea and Tad just came (💦) together so naturally (give me all the puns😂🍩🍆) but for real, their connection just flowed.
I liked how things came full circle with Logan’s part of the story because seeing siblings fight breaks my heart.
While this 3rd book in the series had some sad parts (Tad’s backstory with his family) it was nowhere near the emotional trauma I suffered with the first 2 books esp the first one which remains my fav of the series.
Overall this was a solid read and I recommend you check it out.

This was such an emotional journey. Breezy is trying to navigate the grief of losing her father while also losing the company she practically dedicated her life to. Needing a fresh start, she heads to the country to stay with her brother, and it ends up being exactly where she was meant to be.
Then there’s Tad. At first, he comes across as the goofy guy who’s always up for a drink and a good time. What starts as a friends-with-benefits arrangement quickly turns into something much more after they find themselves in a sticky situation. As Tad’s past is revealed, my heart absolutely broke for him.
This story balanced humor, heartbreak, healing, and personal growth so well. It made me laugh, pulled at my heartstrings, and reminded me that sometimes the place you never planned to end up is exactly where you need to be.
Then there’s Tad. At first, he comes across as the goofy guy who’s always up for a drink and a good time. Tad & Breezy!! These two were so lovable and fun! This book was full of humor, banter, and extreme chemistry, but don’t let this fun cover fool you! This one also had some emotional moments, dealing with grief & trauma. It made me just want to just hug these characters!
I can always count on a Max Monroe book to suck me in and have me loving every second & this was no different!! The added family drama & the emotional depth, just made it just a great read!!
I have loved this series so much & this one was the perfect addition to it!! If you love small town chaos, character growth, heat, and humor, this one is going to be perfect for you!!

I just love their writing style! This story is so cute!! I think it’s my second favorite of the series. Nothing will ever beat Summer’s book but this was just so good!! Made me laugh out loud in spots and I needed that! 🫶

This was a tricky one for me. It’s the 3rd book in a series which I recommend reading first.
Same as the previous books, the cover is misleadingly upbeat. It seems like a happy rom-com instead of a book that has very sad and potentially triggering topics.
This book is focused on Breezy, book #1 MMC’s sister. After their father dies suddenly she realizes he didn’t leave her the family business she has dedicated 20 years of her life to but instead to her brother who has never shown any interest in the business. Feeling betrayed and lost, she flees the city and goes to stay with her brother and sister in law.
On the way into town she runs into her brother’s neighbor and town heartthrob sheep farmer, Tad. Tad has a tendency to over indulge (aka unaddressed alcoholic?) which just seems to be overlooked in town (really frustrated that this part is never addressed or an issue for anyone).
Breezy is having an identity crisis and Tad is trying to force himself to function. They both are interested in something casual but it quickly turns into something more for both of them, despite their intentions.
There is a lot of complex sibling dynamics in this book - so much of it could have been resolved with communication which was sad and frankly annoying.
The mystery behind Tad’s sadness felt unnecessary. I think it would have been more impactful if it wasn’t a surprise. He’s known as this happy guy around town but everyone knows he’s also an emotional drunk, it felt odd that he has hidden his grief for years other than “the day”?
Overall, I enjoyed it but didn’t love all of it.

Where I Should've Been turned out to be a wonderful surprise. I started this book with fairly low expectations, mainly because it's the third book in a series of interconnected standalones and I hadn't read the previous two. I wasn't sure whether I would miss important details or feel disconnected from the story but that wasn't the case at all. It works perfectly well as a standalone and by the time I reached the final page I found myself wanting to go back and read the first two books.
The story follows Breezy, a woman who has spent her entire adult life managing her family's art galleries, only to discover after her father's death that everything she worked so hard for has been left to her brother instead. Feeling completely lost, she decides to leave her old life behind and move to the small town of Red Bridge, where her other brother lives, hoping to figure out what she truly wants for her future.
There she meets Tad, a sheep farmer who is carrying wounds of his own. After experiencing a heartbreaking loss, he has settled into a quiet life, simply trying to make it through each day. Neither of them is looking for love, yet their paths cross at exactly the right moment and what begins as a temporary connection slowly develops into something much deeper.
One of my favorite aspects of this novel was the fact that both protagonists are mature adults in their forties. As someone who often reads young adult novels, it was incredibly refreshing to follow characters who are at a different stage of life. Breezy and Tad communicate, reflect on their emotions and face their personal struggles with a level of maturity that makes their relationship feel honest and believable. They both carry emotional baggage but rather than creating unnecessary drama, they try to understand themselves and each other, which made me appreciate them even more.
I also loved Breezy's personal journey. Watching her rebuild her life after losing the future she thought she had worked for was incredibly satisfying. Her growth throughout the story felt realistic and I admired the way she slowly learned to put herself first and embrace a new beginning.
The romance itself develops fairly quickly rather than following a slow-burn structure but I never felt that it was rushed. Seeing two people who had almost stopped believing they could find happiness again slowly open their hearts to one another was heartwarming and I enjoyed watching their relationship evolve as their feelings became deeper and more meaningful.
What truly stole my heart, however, was Red Bridge itself.
The town feels alive thanks to its wonderful cast of secondary characters. From Breezy's brother, sister-in-law and adorable niece, to Tad's brother, the fiends couple who run the local café, the sheriff and even the wonderfully nosy woman who owns the town newspaper, every single character adds warmth, humor and personality to the story. By the end of the book, I wasn't only invested in Breezy and Tad, I had become attached to the entire community. The found family aspect is beautifully written and gives the novel that comforting feeling that makes you want to stay in Red Bridge long after you've turned the last page.
Although the story contains plenty of lighthearted and funny moments, it also explores heavier topics such as grief, healing, the loss of loved ones and child loss. These themes are handled with care and add emotional depth to the characters' journeys, making their growth feel even more meaningful.
The reason I settled on 4 stars instead of 5 is simply that, while I truly enjoyed every moment of the story, I found it fairly predictable. There weren't many unexpected twists and although I became attached to the characters, the book didn't leave me with that overwhelming emotional impact that usually turns a great read into a five star favorite.

I have really enjoyed this series, but I think this might be my favorite one so far!
I was a little worried that this was going to be an "instant" love type of story, but thankfully, that didn't really happen. I loved the way that Breezy and Tad came together. Breezy is at a crossroads and unsure what her future holds. She just wants fun and no strings. Tad is dealing with a lot of deep trauma and grief that doesn't want anything either. Their relationship was so much fun and full of banter. I enjoyed seeing their relationship unfold, even though we all know where it's headed. I love how many supporting characters we have here that we’ve seen before. I loved seeing them and learning how they are doing through this story! I love Josie so much!
Tad's story was very emotional and heart breaking. He's living with so much guilt and seems to be stuck in life. He doesn't think he deserves much until Breezy comes into his life. The only thing I didn't love about this was the way he never fully opened up to Breezy. I understand why he struggles but a lot of things could have been avoided if he shared earlier on in their relationship.
Breezy was a character that I loved from the beginning. She's hilarious and even though she doesn't know what to do with her future, she's very sure of what she deserves. Family can be tough and I related to that aspect of her story. One of the coolest things about her relationship with Tad is how she gave him his space. She knew something was off but felt that he would come to her when he was ready. She didn't become frustrated and upset with him. It's such a huge aspect of a trusting and loving relationship!
Overall, I loved this one. I do think you should look up the triggers because there are several things in this story that could be triggering. I thought the relationship was beautifully done and full of tender and steamy moments! If you have enjoyed the others in the series then you will love this one too!

I thought the relationship was beautifully done and full of tender and steamy moments! If you have enjoyed the others in the series then you will love this one too!

Our story begins in the small town of Red Bridge, Vermont, and with Tad Hanson, the handsome, broody and mysterious sheep farmer, who has as much control over his personal life as he does of his flock that is to say none at all, he’s always down for a good time but that’s as far as it goes & no one can figure out why since he’s made it his life’s mission to keep his dark past a secret.
In comes top of the line art director Beatrice Bishop aka “Breezy”, who was sure she had everything in her life figured out, that is until her dad passed away and left her family’s galleries which she built from the ground up to her younger brother who is a famous actor & has no clue about what the job even entails. That makes her quit on the spot, with nothing from her old life left to tie her to New York she decides to move to Red Bridge with her older brother, and guess who happens to be his neighbor? Yep that’s right, no other than Tad, which might be exactly the kind of “distraction” she needs while she figures out what to do with the rest of her life. What starts off as a secret “no strings attached” fling quickly evolves into so much more, as feelings begin to change and lines start to blur walking away might no longer be an option.
Let me start by saying I read this book in 2 days, I was hooked from the very first line, I loved how both the FMC and MMC were almost 40 years old, it was refreshing to watch them be raw and flawed with each other while also showing up and taking care of each other when they needed it the most. I never expected for this book to also have such a heart wrenching story behind it and for it to deal with such profound topics as grief and loss of a loved one. I enjoyed watching Tad slowly begin to piece himself back together after spending time with Breezy and being able to open himself up and being vulnerable with her. I adored that Breezy eventually gave herself grace and was so vulnerable while she found what truly made her happy in life.

This book truly felt like getting a warm hug and like being able to visit Stars Hollow in real life, if you love small town romances, a broken MMC with a hidden past, rambunctious sheep, forced proximity and found family then this is the book for you! This was my first Max Monroe book and it certainly won’t be my last! I can’t wait to continue this series, thank you so much to Max Monroe, Entangled Publishing & NetGalley for the amazing Arc, this story will stay with me forever!

There’s soooo much happpening here. Big emotions, heavy backstories, multiple family dynamics, and several plot threads all moving at once. I could see what the story was trying to do in terms of depth and character growth, but it ended up feeling a bit overwhelming and hard to fully settle into. 🚒
The relationship between Breezy and Tad is very intense from the start, and while I understood what they were meant to be for each other, I struggled with how quickly everything escalated and how little space there was for real communication between them, especially given the weight of Tad’s past.
I also had a hard time connecting with the story early on, as it feels very tied to a larger series, and I often felt like I was missing context for some of the dynamics and ongoing storylines. 🚔
That said, there were elements I appreciated. The small-town setting and the strong sense of family, especially the way both of their worlds begin to intertwine, added warmth to the story and gave it a solid emotional foundation. 🐑
Overall, this one leaned more heavy and dramatic than I personally enjoy in a romance, and while it wasn’t the right fit for me, I can see it working for readers who like emotionally intense, high-drama small-town stories with interconnected characters.

I am just WRECKED right now, at first I thought this was a cute small town romance between a city girl and a sheep farmer but I should have known better because Max Monroe writes the most DEVASTATING angst and damn if she doesn’t pull it out in this book. The plot is very cute at first, they have the most adorable meet cute with her car being stuck in a snowstorm and him being wiped out drunk (but like the cute charming kind of drunk). Then turns out her neighbour too which makes this even better as they sneak around “casually hooking up” but they both can’t deny that it’s turning into so much more. This book is filled with romance and so much drama, because the tea in a small town is insane. The plot twists are also seriously insane, Max Monroe drops hints now and there to keep you guessing but you’d never expect that final reveal. There is also so much growth in this book that had me loving the characters even more. I love how Tad made Breezy feel so safe and loved, and how (mostly) the entire town was so sweet that she was ready to put her busy New York life in the past and enjoy the small things in life. This book is for the oldest sisters, who have always had an immense weight on their shoulders and hopefully one day will find their Tad to help carry some of it. Tad had so much character development because while he seems like a charming sheep farmer he has got a past that haunts him like the literally has a “dark day” and yes Breezy actually references our beloved grumpy diner owner Luke Danes from Gilmore Girls. I love how Breezy made him want to live for the first time in ten years, and I don’t care if it’s a cliche, it was freaking beautiful and I bawled like a baby. This book was an emotional masterpiece and I don’t even care that the sheep were literally the biggest c*ckblockers ever. I give this a 5/5

This is book 3 in the Red Bridge series.
While the plot started off very strong - Breezys life is upended when her father dies and lives her career business to her younger brother - she quits and moves to the town (red bridge) that her brother lives in. (MMC from previous book).
She is suddenly involved in a sex-situationship with the sheep farmer, Tad. I mean, several chapters of hooks ups. This is a secret relationship but they live in a small town. Tad acts mysterious about his lack of desire for a relationship and Breezy is going through a mid life crisis.
36% into the book, it lost my attention, it felt very repetitive with discussions of how autumn looks just like Summer and they would have been amazing siblings, etc. I was originally interested because I love older characters (39 & 41) but there was no substance to this despite it pulling emotion from the previous 2 books. It feels like this series has run its course for me, if there are additional books, I will not be continuing.

I loved being back in Red Bridge, getting to re-visit the characters we have grown to love so much. This series created such a found family dynamic mixed with real family that all blended to become one.
Tad and Breezy’s story was one I didn’t even know we needed. Both dealing with their own issues - Tad with a level of grief no one knows about except his brother so he keeps it bottled up. Breezy dealing with a loss of her father but really a loss of her identity when he screws her over in his will, handing over the family legacy to her brother. She escapes to red bridge to try to figure out who she is outside of the family business that she’s walking away from. Though she has family in Red Bridge, she’s accepted by everyone else, as if she’s been there all along.
The instant friends with benefits relationship she forms with Tad is so cute, as it’s clear to the Reader that I will obviously become more but those two are absolutely clueless to its potential. They had cute banter and an instant chemistry that made the book so enjoyable. The only part I really struggled with was their lack of communication due to their ages - I felt on their ages the communication should have been so much better, but at the same time, because of their internal struggles, completely understood why it wasn’t.
Max Monroe ALWAYS delivers and this was no different. Great wrap up to the series. Thank you Hambright for the gifted copy, my words are only my own💙

It's official. I'm going to take a break from Max Monroe's books from now on. Ever since I finished reading Call Me Anytime, my love for their writing has waned. Not sure what truly happened, but I felt like their storytelling style had changed drastically and not in a good way, in my opinion. Take the Red Bridge series for example, the characters weren't as memorable as they used to be in book 1, the storyline wasn't as captivating, and the overall world-building missed its mark with each installment. I couldn't recall anything I particularly enjoyed in this book and it was a real bummer as I did like What I Should've Said. Anyways, I was sorry this one ended up being a major let-down but I still hoped it'd work for you.
