This is another great installment of the steadfast, Gospel-oriented daily devotions (published quarterly) known as "Portals of Prayer"! Each and every devotion in this issue were worthy of reading prayerfully in the morning and pondering throughout the day. Each of the three authors (who submitted a month of daily devotions) did a fantastic job; but I have to give accolades to the author in March who based the devotions on some great hymns! In fact, every day in March I opened my hymnal and enthusiastically sang that devotion's hymn in full context; such that, this morning (Apr 1) I was a little sad that there wasn't a hymn basis.
The devotions consistently brought to my soul the Gospel message of being redeemed by Christ! Yes, a great issue worthy of prayerful pondering!
