Resparked

Is the spark in your relationship… burnt out? We all have times in our lives where we must realign our goals, reset our values, reaffirm our choices… and sometimes we must ‘Respark’ our passions, our desires, and our relationships. This was the case of Patrick and Rhonda Lewis, as their separation led to a pending divorce. Tempers and anger were evident as they attended their daughter’s rehearsal dinner the night before her wedding. As they removed themselves from dinner to spare their daughters embarrassment, they reconvened just next door as embers from a fire off in the distance circulated above them. After they calmed down, they found themselves reminiscing about the good years of their marriage and before they realized it, they started to rekindle, as did the embers just outside of the doorway. Would their love become ‘Resparked’, like the embers in the mulch patch? Or would they burn out once again?

Lonnie Mounts was born in West Virginia, has lived in Tennessee and Georgia, and currently resides in Pennsylvania. He prides himself on being Southern-born, Northern-raised, and Army Veteran Strong. He started his pursuit of writing while serving in the U.S. Army after some "Interesting Experiences" and life's typical ups and downs. His passion is his ability to throw in different scenarios with almost every situation life can throw at you and create suspenseful and dramatic fiction that people love to read.
