War wieder richtig süüüüß und ich hab mich sehr gefreut, nochmal über die beiden lesen zu können, nachdem der erste Band ja ursprünglich ein Oneshot war. Ich mochte es sehr, wie die beiden ihre emotionale Beziehung immer mehr intensivieren und sooo gut miteinander reden. Einfach schön. Die Episode mit der Brille war besonders alltäglich und daher umso mehr relatable. Liebe ich sehr. Nicht ganz so sehr wie Band 1, aber immer noch sehr :D

Love this series. Mamita's an interesting mangaka, because I can't just say "oh yes, I love this series, I recommend everything by them," because you really do have to pick and choose. But this one continues to hit all the wonderful notes I'd liked so much in the first volume.
It's just a very warm story about love and building relationships that last. Now that Suzume and Keishi are together, they're able to enjoy the honeymoon period of their romance, by spending a lot of time together both at home and on mini trips and errands. They're wonderfully domestic, in a very non-boring way, although poor Suzume is at the age where his waistline isn't so forgiving when he indulges in all the food-heavy parts of his bucket list.
Keishi is both head over heels in love with him and still a bit too young to realize that you can't pinch someone's expanding stomach or comment on it (in an affectionate way!) without hurting their feelings. Fortunately, their communication is always excellent, and Suzume is never afraid to say what he needs, or to pamper and reassure Keishi in turn.
The part with Keishi's vision was so unexpectedly moving. It's a simple thing - wanting to keep his glasses on so he can see his boyfriend clearly - and it's interesting to have to navigate that through specific concessions, when someone with regular eyesight would never even have to bring it up. It's a lovely way to show why Keishi is so handsy; it's partly his personality but also a natural way he's been compensating. He uses touch as a way to stay close to Suzume and to feel him and his reactions when he can't see him clearly. It's subtle but was built up really effectively.
Also loved the discussions about their families. No real drama there; Suzume is technically closeted still, but he thinks his family knows and accepts him and they simply have never talked about it. Keishi (also from a bit younger generation) was more open about it when he was young enough to not realize he was meant to keep it secret, so his big sisters are very protective of him.
Still, that doesn't mean there are no prejudices in their world, including a situation at work that I'd actually forgotten about but got resolved nicely in this volume.
Loved the wedding chapel in the woods and the inn they visited after. I just adore how absolutely tender all the art in this volume is. It's absolutely lovely. What a top-tier couple.

I had no idea this wasn’t a one shot until a few weeks ago. Anyways I really loved this and squealed from the adorableness. I’m so glad we are getting more.
My one gripe which is probably me being over sensitive but as someone who has struggled with weight for a majority of my life it left a bad taste in my mouth when comments were made about Suzume “always being big” gaining 4 kilograms and Keishi grabbing his stomach.
I wanted to give it 5 stars for being absolutely adorable and the fantastic art but the fat shaming really made me uncomfortable.

Me encanta la dinámica entre Suzume y Keishi, son tan compatibles pero diferentes a la vez, se complementan increíblemente bien. Me gusta muchísimo verles en su día a día, es de estas historias sencillas pero te conquista igual.
Además a Mamita se le da genial hacer personajes guapísimos 🤣 además de maravillosos.

Im zweiten Band begleiten wir Suzume und Keishi vor allem in Alltagssituationen. Beispielsweise sehen wir, wie sie zusammen duschen oder wie Suzume sich den Kopf über ein Geburtstagsgeschenk zerbricht. Suzume ist einfach zu niedlich, wenn er errötet. Ich könnte die Panels stundenlang betrachten. ( ꈍᴗꈍ)
Natürlich gibt es auch etwas Drama: Suzume möchte, dass Keishi und er sich bei der Arbeit wie Chef und Mitarbeiter benehmen. Keishi ist damit natürlich nicht ganz so glücklich, aber sie arbeiten als Team an einer Problemlösung und finden einen Kompromiss.
Am Ende werden wir mit einer Hotelübernachtung belohnt. (≧▽≦)
Auch im zweiten Band ist der Zeichenstil wirklich wunderschön. Die Geschichte hat einen klaren Handlungsstrang, wirkt nicht überdramatisiert und alles passt einfach perfekt zusammen.

I loved this sequel just as much as it’s first volume. 10 things I want to do before I turn 40 was originally a single volume one shot that did so well that the creator was basically allowed to write a part two and this was just as good in my opinion, I loved it. This story is such a fun story. The couple is wonderful. Basically this volume is just a continuation of their relationship and it deals with some of their issues like continuing to be professional at work and setting certain boundaries. There is the issue that Suzume doesn’t feel handsome enough for Caiti but Caiti has his own problems where his site is very limited without his glasses and whenever they are intimate, he doesn’t have his glasses on and he hates the fact that he can’t see his partner very well and they just deal with real life problems and they’re really domestic and very cute and it was just wonderful and I would absolutely love it if we got a part three but I guess we’ll just have to see how well it does.

Band 2 knüpft nahtlos an die Stärken des Auftaktbandes an. Nachdem mich Band 1 bereits sehr begeistert hat, war meine Erwartungshaltung entsprechend hoch, und die Fortsetzung liefert genau das, was ich mir erhofft habe: eine warme, humorvolle und zugleich überraschend reflektierte Weiterentwicklung der Beziehung.
Im Mittelpunkt steht erneut Suzume Tojo (40), der nach vielen Jahren endlich wieder in einer festen Beziehung ist, ausgerechnet mit Keishi, seinem jüngeren Angestellten. Statt einer neuen „Firsts“-Liste geht es dieses Mal um etwas sehr Alltägliches und zugleich Herausforderndes: die klare Trennung von Privatleben und Beruf. Um mögliche Konflikte zu vermeiden, legen die beiden vier feste Regeln fest, die ihre Beziehung strukturieren sollen. Natürlich bleibt es nicht aus, dass genau diese Regeln immer wieder auf die Probe gestellt werden.
Inhaltlich verschiebt sich der Fokus damit vom abarbeiten der Liste und der Annäherung hin zur Beziehungsarbeit. Der Manga zeigt sehr schön, dass Anziehung allein nicht reicht, sondern Kommunikation, Rücksichtnahme und Grenzen mindestens genauso wichtig sind. Besonders gelungen ist dabei, wie humorvolle Situationen mit ernsthaften Fragen nach Verantwortung, Machtverhältnissen und Professionalität im Arbeitsumfeld kombiniert werden.
Die Dynamik zwischen Suzume und Keishi bleibt weiterhin das große Herzstück der Reihe. Ihre Beziehung wirkt liebevoll, respektvoll und angenehm erwachsen, ohne dabei an Leichtigkeit zu verlieren. Der RomCom-Vibe, gepaart mit Office-Romance, Age-Gap-Thematik und alltäglichen Momenten, sorgt für eine Geschichte, die sich gleichzeitig unterhaltsam und nahbar anfühlt.

Ein schöner zweiter (Abschluss)band für die Serie.
Ich war ein wenig besorgt, weil in so Zweitbänden gerne nochmal ultra dummes Drama kommt >_> aber das war hier nicht der Fall. ES war einfach mega süß, der Age Gap wird hier auch nochmal ein wenig deutlicher.
Überhaupt ist der Manga ein wenig "erwachsener" und wirkt nicht wie "Wir setzen 2 15jährige in die Körper von Erwachsenen und dann ist es weider dumm." Sondern beide arbeiten, haben ihre ganzen Bedenken und reden darüber (wow, :D Kommunikation und so, nice).

A delightful continuation from the first volume. At least in my experience, boys love manga that aren't set up as multi-volume works from the start tend to be quite bad in later volumes, but this was an exception. While not precisely as fun in some ways as volume 1, it was still nice to return to these two and see how they adjusted to dating. The art seemed a bit more polished, the story was very enjoyable. If you liked part 1, you'll likely like part 2! And I would highly recommend any of Mamita's other works.

First volume was so much better and can function as a standalone. While this volume was fun, we didn’t gain anything major besides them marking the list as complete by finishing their last item. Honestly, this volume felt like a filler volume….. (๑ó⌓ò๑) I still enjoyed the characters and art, but I’m hesitant to pick up anymore in this series (since I see on here that there will be a third volume).

E la relazione prosegue, ridefinendo spazi, ritmi, sentimenti. Questa storia è di per se tranquilla, di vita quotidiana. Ma questo non me la rende noiosa, anzi, i protagonisti ci mostrano la loro evoluzione personale. È una lettura leggera, che tiene compagnia, e rende felici anche solo per piccole cose.

Relació cuqui i superwholesome en un segon volum ple de cotidianitat i adaptació dels nous rols, cosa que implica establir certes normes per separar la vida personal de la professional, però no sempre serà tan fàcil. Totes les tombarelles sobre les ulleres del seme em semblen tan ridícules... tan cegato estàs que no veus res???? Hi haurà 3r volum i em sembla francament bé ♥

Damn, Keishi is sooo hot lol. I’m absolutely in love with him! Anyway, I was so EXCITED for this sequel to release! The first volume is one of my top fav bl stories! I needed more of Suzu and Keishi. And I wasn’t disappointed!

oh, the mortifying ordeal of being known. as someone growing older, i could feel the fear of someone seeing all of me and loving me anyway. such a beautiful love story. even better than the first one! art is GORGEOUS, they are so pretty, story and characters and romance just ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️!!!!!!!!!

เปิดมาก็หวานเจี๊ยบเลยค่ะ! เล่มนี้คุนสึซึเมะอายุ 40 แล้วด้วย! hehe~ ในส่วนเนื้อเรื่องเล่มนี้จะเล่าเรื่องชีวิตคู่เป็นหลักเลย พอเป็นแฟนกันแล้วก็ต้องปรับตัวเข้าหากันมากขึ้น เพื่อที่จะให้อยู่ด้วยกันไปนานนาน ชอบที่คุนสึซึเมะไม่ดุเคชิเลยที่อาจจะมีพลาดบ้างบางเรื่อง แถมยังบอกอีกว่าให้พยายามไปด้วยกัน เพราะเข้าใจว่าบางอย่างมันยาก 🤏🏻🥺 โดยรวมโอเคเลยค่ะ จริงๆคืออยากเพิ่มดาวด้วยซ้ำ เพราะมามิตะเซนเซวาดเคชิคุงออกมาหล่อทุกซีน หล่อพระเจ้าสร้างอะไรขนาดนั้นน้อ 😣👉🏻👈🏻
