Functionally Immortal: Lakeside Murders
Bear Rest Hollow is known for its stunning lake, great camping, and some of the best coffee this side of the Rockies, but the summer of 1996 has different plans for the bustling tourist town. When the grisly murders of four people stump local law enforcement, Agent Mikhail Lewis of the FBI is sent to investigate. He's joined by the sheriff’s number one Tailen Galloway, the flirtatious woman who lives on the outskirts of town. Agent Lewis is confronted by the fact that these deaths may not be what they seem.

Functionally Immortal: Lakeside Murders wields a fantastic murder/mystery/thriller with a sexy paranormal romantic FBI procedural.
Otto has crafted an impressively mysterious world filled with interesting characters, sites to see, and spooky to uncover. There are bomb shells after bomb shells dropped, jaw drops, and times that had me hiding the text due to adult context (the sexy kind 🤫), I very much look forward to exploring more about Bear Rest Hollow and what other interesting secrets that are hidden within.
Bonus points to the author for trigger warnings at the beginning of the novel for those who appreciate them.
P.S. Perfect title, by the way. Didn’t get it until the end. 😉
