'It's important for me to talk about everything that's happened to me in my life, to be open about it, because when you share something that you've gone through, and survived, it helps other people going through something similar. You aren't alone. And you are enough.'
In the summer of 2026, it is ten years since Olivia Bowen appeared on the second series of Love Island, finishing as a runner up with her partner, Alex. A true love story, the couple remain the longest standing success story of the show's entire history, now married with two beautiful children, Abel and Siena Grace.
Yet the last decade for Olivia has been a very different experience from her life before, where she'd struggled to navigate family disruption, unhealthy relationships and a battle with depression and anxiety.
In Lost Until Love, Olivia reflects on her life, sharing with her devoted followers what really drove her to enter the Love Island villa, as well as giving exclusive insight behind-the-scenes at Casa Amor, her relationship with Alex, and the many varied - and sometimes unexpected! - experiences and opportunities the show has brought her since.
Olivia also explores her raw journey of motherhood, as well as the devastating loss of her twin daughter while pregnant with Siena Grace and how this has changed her outlook on life and her future. Through the highs, lows and self-reflection, Olivia has finally created an authentic blueprint for her life that she hopes will inspire others to seek out their turning point and reach for their dreams.
Lost Until Love is a love letter to Olivia's younger self; it might be Olivia's own story but the hope and learnings between these pages are for every person who wants to own, learn, and turn their story into a life well lived and loved.
'Applying to be on Love Island wasn't my dream, I didn't set out aiming to win it or believe it was going to be a life-changing opportunity. It was just a chance for me to escape from where I was, it piqued my interest. And I would encourage anyone who feels that spark of intrigue to do the same. It's like following little breadcrumbs... You might not know where they will lead but if it feels right to follow the trail, you should do it!'
Loved this! It was such a nostalgic listen and took me right back to the golden days of Love Island. Listening to Olivia narrate made is great and the bonus chapter with Alex was such a lovely extra. Definitely recommend the audiobook!
Loved this so much! Listened to the audio which is always good when someone is telling you their story in their own words. I’ve loved Olivia ever since love island and have followed her since. Listening to her story, and hearing the emotion in her voice when talking about Alex, her children and her family and friends made me feel emotional too! Also loved the bonus chapter with Alex too. Great listen on my journey from Scotland to Devon this week.
I took this book on holiday and it was a nice easy read. I really do love both Olivia and Alex and think they seem such a sweet and lovely couple. Didn’t find the book overly exciting however and it didn’t leave me feeling like I wanted more or like I was desperate to find out what happens next. Some of it didn’t seem very well written and was quite repetitive. But it’s worth a read and a good holiday book.
Absolutely loved this! Listened as an audio book and was great to hear Olivia’s story being read by herself, and loved the bonus of Alex joining for a chapter too. They were my favourite couple on Love Island and this was a great book to listen to - Olivia almost reminds me of myself and my relationship with my boyfriend.
This was so gorgeous! I loved listening to the audiobook! It made me cry and laugh out loud. The lessons and tips were spot on and have certainly helped remind me what is important. And you don’t get bloopers with a paperback! I loved it 😍
Watched Olivia when she was on Love Island so thought I’d check out her book. Overall not a bad book but also nothing fascinating about it but an easy listen!
