Anna catches the eye of the man she is taking pictures of, and it leads to an intimate encounter. She runs but takes a parting gift with her. When she realizes she is expecting Anna leaves and for five years remains under the radar of Alexander until she unknowingly moves next-door reigniting the feelings she tried to outrun and when his enemies find out he will stop at nothing to keep his newfound family safe. This action-packed thriller had me engaged and on the edge of my seat.

This is the story of Anna and Alexander. They have a connection and chemistry, but Alexander finds himself in the dark, and he thrives on it. He loves, protects, and keeps what he wants to keep. Loss is no stranger to him. Anna, on the other hand, is a mother who does everything she can to keep her daughter safe and secure. Where others fear Alexander, she finds that it's not just what he does and loves that frightens her. I enjoyed their story and definitely recommend it.

Alexander is chef's kiss

Alexander is dark but he loves and cares with his everything. He knows loss amd he refuses to loose what means the most.

Anna is strong. She's willing to do what it takes to keep her daughter safe and protected. She isn't scared of Alexander himself just what he does.

The chemistry between these two. And Sophia is the absolute cutest with magic to help anyone smile.

Absolute Drivel

Plot inconsistencies, grammar and word choice mistakes, wrong self references. Ridiculous plot, flat and one-dimentional characters. the most annoying MFC... And the whole thing jumped the shark. Multiple sharks.

Reads like AI slop written for one of those app store pay by chapter apps.

The Mafia Romance gernre is already flooded. Save yourself the time and braincells; read something better.

While i did enjoy this story it had its moments that annoyed me, the constant arguments between the 2 main characters were pathetic to put it no other way. And running away like she did with her daughter was madness, endangering both of them. She didn't deserve him at times.

Alexander will leave you gasping for air while reading this 5/5-star mafia romance book and what a terrific book Alexis has right here. Anna has a secret and when she runs from Alexander to keep the secret my heart took off beating quickly. You will want and must read this book to see if the Bratva king Alexander finds out her secret and what happens.

This wasn't a bad story. I enjoyed where the violence was kept to a.minimum. The sex I avoid. I scan it just in case someone important dies during sex.

Surprise for the Pakhan

When Anna and Alexander's time together leaves her with a surprise that take a while to reveal, I was captivated from the start. It was entertaining and suspenseful as well as a little steamy. Overall, this was an intriguing story that I could not put down.
