However, a pair of well-meaning matchmakers hatch a plan to bring Justin and Felicity together to foster a rescue puppy. Will the holiday magic and one ornery puppy give them a second chance at love?

Puppy Hugs & Mistletoe Kisses is the fourth and final story in the Kringle Falls, Vermont series… how I have loved this series, and I really don’t want to say goodbye. Still, I’ll be waiting impatiently for whatever magic Jennifer Faye brings us next. We are leaving Kringle Falls with a fantastic story, a couple that really do belong together, and one stubborn, adorable pup… can’t ask for much more than that!
There was a time, years ago, when Felicity and Justin might have had a future together. They each had dreams; unfortunately, those dreams did not align, and heartbreak followed. Felicity went off to New York City to live her dream only to discover that it could, and did, crumble all too easily. She’s back home in Kringle Falls, hoping her bad luck was left behind, but that’s not always how life goes. Justin was devastated when Felicity left, but he rebuilt his life from the ashes she left behind. He’s now the town’s mechanic, a job he’s good at, but he’s also harboring a secret profession underneath the noses of his hometown neighbors. His desire to be an author drives him these days, and he’s so reluctant to let anyone know because his pride simply cannot take another hit should he be laughed at or worse, pitied for a foolish dream.
When Justin runs into Felicity again, he is both elated and saddened because there is no way he’s ever going to make the mistake of trusting her with his heart again… even though she’s always owned it, it doesn’t mean he has to acknowledge that fact and borrow more trouble. One matchmaking Mrs. Kringle, and a stubborn, rambunctious, ornery puppy named, ironically, Sunny, are about to set this couple’s world spinning, because where love is concerned, there are always possibilities if one is willing to take a few risks.
I loved everything about Felicity and Justin’s story, even little Sunny’s part in the matchmaking success. Their story is well-written, full of emotions from laughter to tears, in a town full of well-meaning residents who, at heart, only want others to be as happy as they are. It’s a bittersweet farewell for me, but oh my goodness, how I’ve enjoyed every story, every couple… and every single puppy I’ve met in Kringle Falls, Vermont. If this sounds like a romance you’d want, you’re absolutely going to love Puppy Hugs & Mistletoe Kisses by Jennifer Faye.
*I received an e-ARC of this novel from the author or the author’s team via Booksprout, and I sincerely thank them for their trust. It is my choice to leave a review giving my personal opinion about this book.*
We are back in Kringle Falls with another sweet, clean romance perfect for not only Christmas, but also throughout the year. This time the story belongs to Felicity Wright , Justin Bishop and Sunny, the puppy. Growing up, Justin and Felicity were attached to the hip. But after college when Justin proposed, Felicity said no and left town to move to NYC to find her way as an assistant editor. Her dreams didn’t exactly happened and she’s back in town, without a job, no boyfriend and no home. Except for her father’s funeral a couple of years ago, she hasn’t been back and her relationship with her mother is almost non-existent. Nothing is as she expected and to make matters worse, one of the first people she encounters is Justin. Justin, now a mechanic for the township, was badly hurt by Felicity. But he knew her goals were not like his. At the moment, his nights are spent honing his secret talent and possible dreams. When he sees Felicity again, old feelings resurface. But she’s only here for a short time or is she? Of course, Mrs. Kringle once again works her matchmaking magic using the adorable puppy Sunny. This was a sweet , touching story about family, new dreams and a very active community. It’s also a story about second chances in life and love. I was entrusted a copy of this book by Booksprout . The opinions expressed are solely my own.
Always giving a hundred percent to her job as assistant editor, Felicity Wright feels sure she will get the promotion of editor. Unfortunately, she not only didn’t get the promotion she got fired. Besides that, her boyfriend broke up with her, and she lost her apartment. She puts everything from her apartment in storage and heads to her hometown of Kringle Falls hoping to spend some time with her mother. After her father passed away suddenly, she hasn’t spoken much to her mother so when she arrives in town, she wasn’t prepared for what awaited her. Her mother had sold her family home and moved into an apartment. As she walks to the apartment, she slips and falls in front of Justin Bishop, the love of her life that she left behind. Justin couldn’t believe she was back in town. He is a mechanic working for his brother, but he has a secret. He wants to be an author. He is working on his second book but can’t find a publisher for his first book yet. Will the two of them find as their love rekindles that the love a puppy, forgiveness, and the work of a matchmaker, can help make all things possible.

To be clear: I purchased a paperback copy of this book from a large online retailer.
Felicity Wright is having a bad…day? Week? Life??? She decides to regroup and travel back to Kringle Falls for the holidays, see her mom, try to figure things out. She hasn’t been back since her dad died and there’s this chasm between her and her mother but she hopes it won’t be too bad a trip… Cue the Fates laughing! Justin Bishop is the “boy” she left behind and he is also having a sort of life-crisis. And then he sees Felicity again…
Felicity and Justin have to deal with their own life feelings and now they have to deal with each other again. Add in a little rascal of a rescue dog named Sunny and wonderful, warm, funny and sometimes hilarious hijinks ensue! This is Book 4 of the series and each and every one is amazing, better than the one before it. This story made me smile and enjoy the holiday theme. LOVED Sunny!
‘Puppy Hugs & Mistletoe Kisses’ was so sweet. The engaging plot was about a young lady’s heartbreak after losing her boyfriend, anguish after losing her apartment, and dejection after losing her job as an editor. In addition, the plot involved returning home, running into her former boyfriend, fostering an exuberant puppy, humor, finding out about her mom’s situation and her childhood home, coping with loss, helping out with the community’s Christmas pageant, finding part of a manuscript, making the most out of a sad situation, having the last laugh, and falling in love. Moreover, Felicity and Justin, the protagonists, had their work cut out for them to try to salvage a second chance at love. Additionally, I liked the author’s vivid descriptions, including imagery, figurative language, and the perfect word choices that created an uplifting tone. I received a copy for free and am giving my honest review voluntarily. Overall, I liked the amusingly delightful narrative.
This was such a fun second chance story about Felicity, who was at a crossroad in her life and Justin, who used to be her best friend. I liked how the story was set in the small town of Kringle Falls, Vermont where there are a few matchmakers trying to get Felicity and Justin back together, but her life is in New York and she will be leaving soon, she hopes.
There was also the theme of returning home after Felicity had lost her dad several years ago and she had immersed herself in her work and had not been home since. Her dad had been the glue between her mom and Felicity. I liked how they were able to grow and share new memories together and heal their relationship as they got to know each other again. The puppy, Sunny, sounded so cute and mischievous and she added so much to the story. That sneaky matchmaker who put Sunny in their care! I received an advance copy of this book, and I willingly chose to write an honest review.
Bad luck brings positive outcomes! Felicity, chasing an esteemed editorial position, allows her career to affect her relationships…until she is ultimately left homeless, jobless and without a partner. Her life only seems to deteriorate further when she decides to return to her childhood home in Kringle Falls and encounters her ex-friend, Justin. Ms Faye brings the small-town ambiance of good-natured gossip, together with the complexities of revitalising a previously broken relationship, and a mischievous puppy that forces Felicity and Justin to spend time together, to create another enjoyable novel set in the dedicated Christmas-themed town of Kringle Falls. I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.
For the love of a puppy Another beautiful Jennifer Faye story that’s set around Christmastime. With a lot of bad luck Felicity returns to Kringle Falls where some much loved and well meaning matchmakers set her on a path towards Justin, the mechanic in town who she has history with. Justin knows heartbreak and disappointment and just maybe bringing these two people together again with the little help of a gorgeous puppy during Christmas is what they both desperately need - a second chance at love. Wonderful characters and a really lovely storyline. Great read. I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.
This is the third complete story that I have read in this series. Each is a standalone book providing the complete and fulfilling story. I have thoroughly enjoyed them all. This one pulls on the heartstrings as Felicity navigates reconnecting with her mother after her father's death. Both have been dealing with their grief, and it has driven them apart. This covers the healing and understanding which is so well written. She also reconnects with her former best friend. Get ready to smile, laugh and maybe wipe a tear or two in this story of second chances on more than one level.
I received an ARC, and I am leaving my own thoughts without influence from the author or publisher.
Felicity lost her boyfriend, job, and apartment and is forced to go back to a home she hasn’t been to in years but nothing is as it was and her ex Justin is single. Will he and the adorable puppy Sunny he is fostering give her reasons to stay? This was a story about how things happen for a reason. Felicity worked so hard at her job and was unhappy. If they couldn’t see her worth over a lying charmer then they don’t deserve her. She broke Justin’s heart years ago because he wanted more than she was ready for at the time. I love that they both enjoy reading and that he’s a writer who just needed a little help. This was a kisses only second chance Christmas romance.
Felicity is going home. So many things have happened in her life lately, that Kringle Falls is a soft place to land. Until it isn’t! Her Mother has sold her childhood home and Justin she left behind is not married and still as nice as ever. Slowly Felicity is learning that you never really leave. She got a job at the bookstore where she used to work, her feeling for Justin are strong and she is co fostering Sunny with him. Puppy Hugs & Mistletoe Kisses is what she needs the most. I loved this book. I received an ARC from Booksprout for my honest review. This is my honest review and wish I could give it more than 5 stars.
We’re back in Kringle Falls for another puppy story. Felicity has come back home for Christmas after a few years. Justin has been her best friend since childhood. As their moms always said from cradle those 2. He’s still hurt after her rejection and she’s found all kinds of changes since being dropped off by her taxi. Felicity has a lot she needs to accept and open herself up to let love into her heart. Justin needs to open his heart to love again. Both need to understand that home is where you are happy.

A sweet addition to the Kringle Falls series. Felicity returns home after her life completely unravels—lost job, lost boyfriend, and nowhere to land. Running into Justin, the man she once broke, is the last thing she expects. Between small-town meddling, an adorable puppy, and feelings that never really faded, Felicity starts to wonder if home is exactly where she belongs. Cozy, emotional, and full of second-chance charm.

Felicity is back in town because she lost her boyfriend, apartment and job but she hasn’t told anyone. When she arrives she has a huge surprise and ends up working at the book store in town like she used to. While there she meets up with Justin who used to be her best friend and boyfriend. They end up muddling through various events as they work at their relationship again. I really enjoyed the characters and it was wonderful to see some of the characters from past books! A great Christmas romance!!!.

What a beautiful addition to the beautiful series of Kringle Falls. More Puppy Kisses than Puppy Hugs or Mistletoe Kisses :) Loved it, Sunny was just a perfect glue for the story. Felicity had so much problems on her table - relationship with her mother, issues with her work, boyfriend who left her. But back in Kringle Falls she had possibility to do something (or everything) right. Loved the story line, the characters and Sunny. Beautiful holiday romance of second chances to enjoy.

Christmas at Kringle Falls, the town where it's Christmas all year round. This is the fourth book, even though situations and common characters are mentioned, this can be read as a stand-alone book.
Puppy Hugs and Mistletoe Kisses deals with grief being pushed aside instead of felt, strained relationships between mother and daughter, past love, and a very cute foster puppy.
I received a copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.
This charming story is perfect for Christmas or anytime of the year. Maybe it's a bit less about puppies then the other three books and it's more about new beginings and second chances. Felicity lost her job, her apartment and also her boyfriend left her. She has to go back to her hometown which seems to be a bad thing for her but will turn out to be the best thing to happen...

This is book 4 of the Kringle Falls series and like all the other books, this one is a winner. Puppies always make you smile and your heart feel warm. Add in two ex's who still feel deeply for each other and Christmas on top. There are all the feelings in this book from grief, broken heart, love and that Christmasy feeling. The MCs finally get their HEA. I highly recommend this book to all romance readers.

Puppy Hugs and Mistletoe Kisses is a delightful stand-alone romance as well as being part of the wonderful ‘Kringle Falls’ series.
I loved this book. The characters are wonderful and entirely believable. The storyline is excellent and realistic. The puppy, Sunny, is an absolute joy and the star of the book. This book made me laugh out loud at times and I thoroughly recommend it to everyone. An ideal book for any time of year.
The holidays always added expected twist to every story. You also have some matchmakers who are trying to do a good thing but a complicate some issues once in awhile. Entertaining story with two lead characters that are both independent and try to fight the attraction they have. I like the setting and the background of the story. Good read.

“Puppy Hugs & Mistletoe Kisses” (Kringle Falls, book 4) by Jennifer Faye A Sweet Read I found this a fun read full of memories of what was. the heartache of what is missing, and the learning of new, or is that old, possibilities. An easy read cuddled up with blanky, book, & beverage.. Happy Reading ! !
Another sweet story with relatable characters, and an adorable puppy. Felicity and Justin were long time friends and when Felicity moved away, she didn't stay in contact. She recently came back to town, and she's trying to figure out her next course of action. This is a great story and I highly recommend it. I loved this story with the darling, cuddly dog Sunny in the wonderful, magical town of Kringle Falls. Of course, the story of Felicity and Justin with their second chance friendship makes this a delightful and positive story that I can easily recommend to everyone.
I read this book as part of an advance reader team. I am voluntarily writing this review.
This is the perfect feel good, cover up with your favorite fuzzy blanket type of romance book, and if you have a pet to snuggle with you that's an added bonus. There is nothing better than reading a small-town holiday romance book like this one right here by Jennifer. It's wonderful, sweet and puts you in a festive holiday mood. Loved the cover, characters and romance that is sweet to read.
This is a sweet Christmas romance about second chances, dealing with grief and finding a home-work balance. This is a well written book with charming characters and small town setting. So settle into your favorite chair, grab a warm drink and settle in for a cozy read.

Felicity and Justin were so cute coming together. I mean, when you’re set up to foster a puppy, of course God things are going to happen. I absolutely fell in love with this book for the small town, the holiday time, and the characters. This is a sweet and cozy romance. Just so beautifully written.
I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.
The matchmakers were so sneaky Felicity and Justin never had a chance. The adorable rescue puppy named Sunny was all that was needed to give Felicity and Justin a reason for a second chance at romance. I enjoyed reading about how Felicity is finally able to forgive her mother and get close to her again.
This book and the entire series are sweet heartwarming reads. Justin and Felicity's story is a sweet second chance romance and when you add Sunny, a darling little puppy, to the story it came to life. This book was a joy to read.
I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Another sweet installment of puppies and love. This book is about lost love, mourning a loved one and finding a way to move forward. Nothing better than a sweet romance. I received an advanced reader copy of this book from Book Funnel, and this is my honest review.
Slow burn, big heart romance. Faye keeps the sweet while peppering in hints of spice. Justin and Felicity are adorable. From laugh out loud to touch your soul, Puppy Hugs and Mistletoe Kisses is emotion at it's most endearing.
