Tea with the Devil: Seven Sips of Salvation Book: 1

Rate this book
A Short Novella of the seven deadly sins- Book 1 is Lust

Every sin has a taste. Hers begins with Lust

When Willa agrees to face her sins for a chance at salvation, she doesn't expect the Devil himself to pour the tea.

Salem, her smooth, wicked, and far too amused familiar, guides her into the first circle of her damnation, where temptation wears the face of Lucien. Desire, danger, and damnation blur until Willa can't tell which burns hotter- the sin or the salvation she seeks.

Each sip draws her deeper into the Devil's game. Each lesson tears away another layer of her soul. As her heart begins to crave what her spirit must resist, Willa realizes the hardest battle isn't surviving Lust- it's wanting it.

To escape this first sin, she must drink and walk away from the very thing that makes her feel alive.

A seductive, gothic fantasy about sin, redemption, and the dangerous beauty of desire. Perfect for readers who crave dark temptation, moral tension, and slow-burning damnation.

One sip down. Six to go.

Dark, seductive, and deliciously tense—Lust is a fantastic start to this seven-sins series.

I’m so grateful for the chance to read, Tea with the Devil, and review it ahead of release.

Willa agrees to face her sins for a shot at salvation, but she doesn’t expect the Devil to be the one pouring the tea—or her familiar, Salem, to be so wickedly hilarious along the way. Guided into the first circle of her damnation, she meets Lucien, a temptation so dangerous she can’t tell if he’s her downfall or her desire.

The witchy atmosphere, moral tension, and slow-burn pull of Lust make this novella irresistible. Willa’s struggle between craving and resisting feels sharp and real.

A seductive, moody read that perfectly kicks off the series. One sip down. Six to go.

Tea With the Devil is the first book in a series about the seven deadly sins. In this first book, Willow will learn about the sin of lust. Willow creates spells via creating a tea to sip. I thought it was a really clever idea to include all the steps and necessary ingredients for the tea. Wouldn’t it be cool if these teas were a real thing? I am always down for a witchy vibe book. The devil, Lucien visits her after she sips her tea. I really enjoyed her familiar Salem and his banter. I just love black cats!!! I was slightly confused in the first few chapters but kept going and then things started to connect more. I thought it was an interesting telling of the deadly sins and I am interested to read the next books. Sip on, Willow.

Every sin has a flavor.
Hers is lust.
Willa agrees to confront her sins for a chance at salvation—but she never expects the Devil himself to be the one pouring the tea. Guided by her familiar, Salem—smooth-talking, wickedly charming, and far too amused by her fate—Willa is led into the first circle of her damnation. Here, temptation wears the face of Lucien, and desire is as dangerous as it is irresistible.
As shadows close in and the line between punishment and pleasure blurs, Willa must face the ultimate question: Can she resist the Devil himself… or is surrender inevitable?

This book lingers like a dark whisper long after the final page. Haunting, seductive, and impossible to forget—I’ll return to Willa’s story again and again, and I’m already aching to see what awaits her next.

I loved how we got to see the recipes for the teas in Willow’s Grimoire. How I wish these would work in real life! As she goes through the sips with the devil himself, she must look back to realize how lust became confused for love. She needs to first learn to forgive herself before she can face her sins. This was definitely a journey into self discovery. Her cat Salem is also a great character. His sarcasm is on point, and he helps keep her grounded. I was a bit confused to start but caught on fast. I was glad for the flashbacks.

Short Novella about self forgiveness. Lust was a great beginning to this Seven Deadly Sins series. I thoroughly enjoyed it. The beginning was a bit confusing to me but by the 3rd chapter I was piecing everything together, so not too confusing. I enjoyed Salem's witty banter a lot, and the recipes from Willow's Grimoire was a very nice touch
