“Some storms pass. Others come back stronger.”

One year later, Jake and Tillie Armstrong have built a life worth fighting for. With love, laughter, and new beginnings, it appears the storms of the past have given way to calm waters as peace settles over their small coastal town.

But storms don’t stay at sea forever.

When letters begin arriving in their mailbox, the shadows of the past threaten to swallow them whole. Each letter grows darker and more personal until ignoring them is no longer an option. But that isn’t the only danger circling their fragile peace. Threats have returned that could destroy everything they love.

As fear creeps back into their lives, Jake and Tillie must stand united. When secrets come to light and danger closes in, will the strength of their love be enough to weather the storm?

You must read Book 1 Rhythm of the Sea, before reading Storms of the sea.
Another riveting story, continuing Tilly and Jakes journey as they find their rhythm in their new lives as newlyweds and parents to Jakes two children, Tessa and Tyler.
Life is good for them both, Tilly having adopted Jakes children, he found a happiness that he did not think he deserved. With Tilly giving him a second chance, the childhood sweethearts had everything they ever wanted.
Until they didn't!
A story full of emotions. I cried, I laughed and I cringed at some of the antics that went on in that household. But the story kept me invested, as threats from the past came back full force.
Tilly keeping secrets caused another rift as Jake tries to understand what is going on.
When the threats close in, Jake reassures Tilly he will protect both her and the kids with his life.
Maggie and Cody still play a major role within the story as they help and support their best friends.
I feel like I need more, as I loved Jake and Tilly, but I hope that Cody and Maggie may get their own story, as Tilly and Jake overcame many hurdles to finally, hopefully.... reach their HEA!

Love, love, love this book. Must read the first book before reading this one but this was just what Tillie and Jake needed. It may have been a rough and wild storm but it tied up all the loose ends where they were needed.

The twists and turns of the Jake and Tillie storm were tear jerking and unpredictable. With that being said Brianna specializes in her happily ever afters and happy endings.

This books shows the reality and realness of marriage and parenting. The day to day, mundane, and brutal truth of hardships, secrets, and mental health. Great work, Brianna. Eagerly awaiting whatever you are planning next! 🖤

When ghosts from their past come back to haunt them, will they be able to weather the storm?

Jake and Tillie are going through the motions if life after the crazy roller coaster that was Whispers of the Sea.

The slice of life telling makes it so relatable and then the crazy happens and it will leave you reeling and feeling all of the feels.

You don't want to miss the emotional conclusion to Jake and Tillie's story

Omgosh. I have no words. This book ties together the strength of s couple who are bound and determined to not let there bad things win. They stood strong as one and took things with absolute strength and trust. Proving that nothing could break them. This book brings the reality of marriage, parenting, and everything you go through.
This was an emotional rollercoaster. But it brought things together so well. So in love with this book!

The story continues with Jake and Tillie. Their past comes back to haunt them and testing them and keeping them united.
This story is very well written. Full of suspense, action, danger, friendship, family and so much love with a very happy ending.
I enjoyed all the characters. I highly recommend this book and this Duet.

Wow another powerful heartfelt story . How much more can these two take? It’s another beautifully written store about the grit of marriage and parenting and was true on so many levels. Not my usual genre but I really enjoyed this book.

This was a good story and ending for the story. I felt like it was complete. I liked how it flows from the first story and bring back the bad guys from it and seeing how they react and make it through the trauma makes the whole story

I absolutely love this book I am happy Jake and Tillie got their HEA that they deserve.. they went through so much together and apart that it’s only natural that Jake is so protective over Tillie. Absolutely love and 100% recommend if you want to read a sweet love story in between the other books!

I really wanted to like it but was disappointed.

This book starts out with a play by play of daily adulting monotony. Every chapter starts with waking up and ends with bedtime….We wake up - breakfast description- clothing description - here is our day - dinner time description - bedtime (2 stories every day). The repetition takes away from any build up of the story she is trying to tell. It takes until Chapter 13 before anything substantial is told in the story. If you can make it to that point, you will finally see the story it seems the author was trying to tell. However, the pacing toward the end felt rushed. Once the conflict launches, things happen quickly, perhaps too quickly to feel entirely believable or earned. The first 12 chapters dragged with repetitiveness and unnecessary content, then things careened toward a climax without the necessary buildup.

I gave it 2 stars because I believe the book shows promise, and there are good moments—this is not a disaster. But it didn’t deliver consistently. If you’re a fan of contemporary romance with suspense, you might find things to like. But if you expect deeper character arcs or a more organic build-up of the conflict, you may come away disappointed.

I genuinely didn't believe I'd be giving this story such a low rating. The first book, whispers of the sea, was so good! I loved it! So to say Im not a fan of this story is so disappointing. First off, I do very much love Tillie and Jake! They are a great couple. For them, its the reason I rated 2 stars. Them and the kids. Everything else was not great in my opinion. There were instances that I screamed at both Tillie and Jake to call the cops, lawyer, prison. Literally they had so many freaking options. It still could have ended the same but at least they would have had more protection and maybe less trauma on those babies. It angered me so much how they went about everything. I don't want to type and say more because it'd be spoilers so I'm going to stop. I do love this author's writing and will continue to read more. I hope she writes about Cody and Maggie. I feel like they have a great story to be told

This is the second book in the stories of the Sea series and you must read the 1st book before starting this one. I was really looking forward to hearing from Tillie and Jake again and boy is this one worth the wait. This story will definitely have you hooked. Omg I absolutely loved it and that ending was everything I have never cried so much reading a book it's was heartbreakingly beautiful ❤️

This was such a great read. I loved it from beginning to end. Its emotional and gut wrenching at times. All the pain and turmoil that Jake and Tillie went through as well as little Tessa and Tyler. I am happy they got their HEA.

I honestly enjoyed parts of it and mostly kept my attention but it definitely was very repetitive and monotonous. The series is not as dark as I expected it to be so I was a bit disappointed.

Continuation of their story. Just the time jumps and timeline just didn’t always add up. Great premise and storyline would have been much better if the timeline just was a little clearer.

Storms of the Sea continues Jake and Tillie's story and oh my gosh, my heart. The two of them went through so much and are still standing. The love that Tillie and Jake have for one another is beautiful. The twists and turns they both had to overcome and are still standing just shows that they are perfection.

Also the ending, that was beautiful and I am so happy that Jake and Tillie got what they deserve. This is a must read.

Make sure you read book 1 before diving in to this. You'll be able to understand the back story and the beginning of Tillie and Jake's story.

Tillie and Jake got a year of bliss. Marriage. Two amazing little kids. But the bliss never lasts.

Secrets should never be kept from one another, even if your trying to protect the one you love.

But what happens when the past comes back? When your scared of shadows?

Tillie and Jake just wanted to continue in peace with their family. But the past isn't staying away.
