I’m not a man who trusts easily unless I’m trusting my brothers in arms. I’d lay down my life to protect them. After serving in the U.S. Marine Corps as a RECON Marine, I joined the FBI to keep on fighting for my country. When Captain Candy Sorensen tapped me to be part of a Tac Team of elite Special Operators from around the globe, I’d jumped at the chance. I’m good at my job but my personal life is a mess, filled with a series of never-ending one-night stands and nameless men, but my brothers are the only family I need.

Why would I ever want to find one guy and settle down?

Life moves fast in my world. I hold down two jobs, live in a house my grandfather gave me, and am responsible for raising younger siblings who are dearer to me than anyone in the world. Friends tell me I should be dating…out in the world, having a good time. I don’t see it that way. The kids and I count on each other because we’re all we have, so asking a guy to commit to a man with my responsibilities, is hopeless. No one could understand the hell our family has gone through to stay together and even if they could, what kind of man would agree to a ready-made family?

Still, sometimes I think…it’d be nice to find one guy and settle down.

They say opposites attract, but when a hard partying man with U.S. Marine Corps RECON training literally falls for a family man raising kids, both men find themselves living in dangerous times. The Mexican drug cartel targeting them for death, may have something to do with it. Non-stop action and relentless pursuit won’t stop Special Agent Nash Hampstead from protecting Joshua Calder with his very life…and just maybe, along the way…falling in love. Join them in the first book in the explosive FBI Files—Spec Ops Tac Team.

All Twisted Up is a great start to Patricia Logan’s FBI Files: Spec. Ops. Tac Team series!
I knew I was going to like it, just as I liked all her book I’ve read so far, but I was still surprised at how much I actually loved it (if that makes sense 😅).

This is definitely an action-packed romance…while the romance is slow-burn, everything else is fast-paced and full of action, but there’s genuine emotions and a real connection between the MCs.

I don’t know why, but I was certain the first book will be Captain Candy Sorensen’s. 🤔 That said, I was not in the least disappointed that it turned out the book is Nash and Joshua’s story.
Nash is our tough ex-Marine turned FBI agent and a player in his personal life. And Joshua is a big-hearted guy with two jobs while raising his younger siblings, with no time for romance or hook-ups. They really couldn’t lead more opposite lives. Then their paths cross in a dangerous situation, and although sparks fly early, the connection and emotional side of their relationship feels like it develops naturally...despite all the danger and unexpected feelings. 😁

As you might have guessed, Nash is a classic guarded playboy, but there are hidden depths to him that we see when we learn about his past and witness how Joshua shows him what it means to let someone in. In contrast, Joshua is caring, dependable, and always ready to help others, although sometimes a bit naive and impulsive when he thinks someone needs him. So while they are total opposites, they also balance each other quite nicely.

Also...I’m a sucker for the found family trope, and Logan always excels at it, so it’s no surprise that’s the case here as well. I really loved Nash’s team of brothers-in-arms that is bursting with different personalities. And Logan really does a great job setting up the team and the world they operate in. I can’t wait to get to know them all better!

Of course, there’s also humour and...a warmth (not sure how else to say it)…especially in the scenes with Joshua’s siblings + a couple of cute pets. ❤️

Of course, you need to get into this book with a healthy dose of suspension of disbelief, but while some situations stretch believability, the story is still fun and exciting. I had no problem getting swept up by suspense, romance, and camaraderie.

Also, that excerpt at the end from Patsy’s story is making me impatient for the next book!

I received a copy of this book from the author, and this is my unbiased review.

Action, Heart, and Healing Collide in This Explosive Start

ARC Review:
Patricia Logan kicks off the FBI Files—Spec Ops Tac Team series with a powerful mix of adrenaline, emotion, and found family. All Twisted Up pairs Nash—a hard-edged former Marine turned FBI agent—with Joshua—a devoted family man raising his younger siblings. Their connection feels real and earned, especially as they navigate danger from a ruthless cartel and the vulnerability of learning to trust.

The romance between Nash and Joshua strikes a perfect balance of heat and heart, with just enough danger to keep you turning the pages. The found family elements add warmth and depth, making the stakes feel even higher. Gritty, heartfelt, and full of tension—this story delivers both on the battlefield and in the heart.

Nash is the perfect RECON playboy—tough, confident, and just a little afraid to open his heart. Being thrown into Joshua’s world was exactly what he needed: the perfect storm of marine-with-attitude meets sweet-but-feisty. Their chemistry is off the charts, and the fast-paced romance had me hooked from page one.

The action, heat, and emotional depth blend beautifully, and the cameos from previously loved characters and couples were the frosting on this delicious, action-packed treat. This story has everything I love—heart, humor, and heat wrapped in a thrilling ride I didn’t want to end

All Twisted Up is the first book in the new FBI Files Spec. Ops. Tac Team series. This is the story of Nash an FBI agent and Joshua a guy just trying to help a friend and take care of his siblings. This book was just amazing. It had everything I like in a great story, action, humor, steam, and romance. We also get cameos from previous books. I loved the whole thing from the first page to the last. I couldn't put this book down once I started it because it was just so good. The characters are all well done, plus we get two cute kids a puppy and a cute cat. I really can't wait for the next book in the series. I would definitely recommend this book as a 5 star read.

Joshua is a caretaker and protector. He's raising his 5, 6 and 17 year old siblings while working 2 jobs. He has a big heart and can't help but to help people he cares about. This is the reason he finds himself at a drug cartel's home while trying to be there for a friend and is later involved in a shoot out between police and gangsters. Now him and his family have to be put under WITSEC because a hit has been put out on him. He doesn't want to put more of a target on his family's back so he lets them be sent away in witness protection while he gets to be watched over by the sexy agent that saved his life twice already. He shouldn't be focusing on his attraction to the man but seeing how well he's been with him and his family in keeping them assured and safe and now being alone with him how could he not?

Nash is a playboy through and through. He doesn't trust easily or let anyone in except his brothers in arms. He goes through guys but only for long enough to hook up and then he's on to the next. Until he meets the brave man who took on his siblings and is determined to give them a better life than he had. He can't stop the attraction or the fierce protectiveness he feels for Joshua and his family and it only grows the more they're forced to outrun dangerous situations. I really enjoyed this book and it has some good action that gets your heart pumping a bit. I do have to say though that Joshua made it kinda hard to watch over him with his insistence to go out and work his jobs and stay out of WITSEC and in the real world in a real situation that he's in the agents and FBI would not have catered to half the things they did in this book but it's fiction and it made for a good thrill so I could live with it. I enjoyed Joshua and Nash's romance and how it began slow but then being in danger with someone and being in closed proximity and the intenseness of their situation can bond people pretty fast and strongly. Nash was determined to make sure Joshua was safe and happy and Joshua gave Nash a home he only ever had with his brothers. This was my first book by this author but I'm looking foward to reading their other work.

The FBI and DEA are working together to take down 2 drug cartels, one of whose leader is in LA. They plan things out, but two civilians show up and get caught in the crossfire.

Joshua accompanies his friend to score because he’s high and shouldn’t drive, trying to convince him to go back home. He sees they’re in trouble, but the FBI shows up and he and the friend are kept safe.

Nash looks after Joshua, and when his wallet is found at the apartment it seems the cartel might want to come after him. Joshua has a family of his younger siblings, and when their house is attacked Nash gets them all to the attic so they’re safe.

The kids are put into witness protection, but Joshua doesn’t go with them because he might endanger them. He asks Nash to be the one to protect him, and they stay at Nash’s place, but are found at the gym nearby and escape.

They’re moved to a safe house, and the team’s IT person discovers there are 2 moles in the DEA, one of whom was killed at the house invasion.

Joshua and Nash feel a pull to each other and quickly develop feelings, sharing their troubled histories and being there for each other. Another cartel attack happens and the mole kidnaps Joshua and hands him over to the leader, but Joshua has a knife Nash gave him and uses it to save himself.

The family is reunited and Nash moves in, making them all a bigger happy family.

I like the adventure of this book, and Joshua’s kindness to people around him. Nash is able to be vulnerable with him because he’s so caring, and the trust between them grows.

However, Nash’s sexual addiction isn’t dealt with at all, so it didn’t need to be part of the story, and in terms of writing, the punctuation is abysmal. But, the story is solid and interesting, and the characters are great, especially with all the candy names of the team.

I received this ARC for free and am pleased to provide my honest review with gratitude.

**********Contains Spoilers**********

This is the first book that I’ve by Patricia Logan and it won’t be my last. I really enjoyed this book and thought that it was a good start to the FBI Files (Spec. Ops Tac Team) Series. The last thing Joshua expected from helping a friend was ending up in the middle of a raid, with bullets flying where he met and is saved by RECON Marine now FBI Special Agent Nash Hampstead and ending up on a Cartel hit list putting him and his family in grave danger. Nash ends up saving Joshua and his younger siblings when a Cartel hit squad is sent to aluminate the family. Joshua’s family is put in WITSEC but Joshua doesn’t want to go with them since he’s already put them in danger, Nash is tasked with Joshua’s personal protection. I liked how their relationship progressed.

I knew that there must be a reason why Nash had a such an active social life and so anti-love but my heart broke for him when it was revealed what actually happened to close him off, to anyone apart from his team/his brothers/chosen family. Joshua is such a sweetheart and exactly who Nash needed to realise that it’s okay to let others in. Joshua works two jobs while raising his younger siblings. Joshua’s younger siblings took to Nash straight away and make him feel part of the family. I really enjoyed meeting the colourful cast of characters that make up Nash’s team and I’m looking forward to reading more about each of them as this series continues, as well as more books by Patrica Logan in the future. I’d definitely recommend this book, series and author to others.

******I received a complimentary copy of this book through GRR. I would still happily review this book even if I purchased it myself. My thoughts and feelings about this book are completely unbiased******

This is the first book in the FBI Files Spec. Ops. Tac Team series and what a series it is! This book was straight out amazing. The story drew me in from the beginning and didn't let up until the last page. It is very well written and easy to read. This is the story of Joshua Calder and Nash Hampstead. Joshua is working two jobs to hold his family together. With his father dead and his mother in prison, Joshua has taken guardianship for his 17 year old sister and much younger brother and sister. He is kind and nurturing. Unfortunately, while helping another friend, he ends up caught in the middle of a FBI/DEA raid. While not injured, this has significant repercussions upon his life. It is also how he meets Nash for the first time. Nash is a ex RECON Marine turned FBI Special Agent. He has his heart locked up and is not looking for anything longer than one night. Too bad he makes Joshua feel so safe. When the drug cartel sends a hit squad to try and remove him from this plane of existence, he is saved by Nash again. So when the Marshalls want him to go into Wit Sec he refuses. He sends his siblings and just stays with Nash until everything is settled. This is their story. I received a complementary advanced review copy of this book from the author and I am voluntarily leaving a review. This book gave us a great opportunity to meet the rest of the team and see some old favourites as well. I loved the teamwork and comradery between them all. It is a perfect found family. Joshua was so trusting and honest. It is no surprise that he won the team over. I really enjoyed this book. I am so looking forward to the next book in this series.

No good deed goes unpunished as Joshua learns quite well. In trying to help a friend out, he ends up in the middle of a raid with bullets flying everywhere. In short order he finds out that he's on a drug cartel's hit list. Going into hiding with the FBI agent who's saved him twice, is hard on him.

Nash is on what he's thinking is just another raid when everything goes sideways. His partner is shot, there's civilians in the line of fire and someone can't be trusted. Taking on the job of witness protection isn't his usual job but for Joshua he'll do it.

It seems like wherever they turn the bad guys find them. Coincidence, I think not and so does the FBI agents. When their computer genius Judy goes digging she finds some very interesting news. Now all they need to do is flush out the bad guys.

This was a really good story. I liked Joshua from the beginning. He is a stand-up guy with a heart of gold. When he found himself in harms way, he kept his cool and had me LOL until my stomach hurt. I had reservations about Nash. In the beginning he came across as a shallow person I wouldn't want to know. It didn't take long to find out why he was the way he was and he couldn't guard against Joshua's awesomeness. There's action sprinkled in around the story and the two MCs getting to know each other. Old friends come out to help and it was nice reading about them again. The new team are a tight bunch and I love their nicknames. Looking forward to the rest of the team getting their stories.

Patricia Logan delivers a thrilling and emotionally resonant story that blends high-stakes action with heartfelt character development. What begins as a simple act of kindness from Joshua quickly spirals into a life-threatening ordeal, thrusting him into the crosshairs of a violent cartel. Enter Nash Hampstead—former RECON Marine turned FBI Special Agent—whose heroic intervention not only saves Joshua but sets the stage for a powerful and transformative relationship.
The chemistry between Joshua and Nash is beautifully paced. Watching their bond evolve from protector and protected into something deeper was one of the most rewarding aspects of the book. Nash’s guarded nature and aversion to love are slowly peeled back, revealing a painful past that explains his emotional walls. It’s heartbreaking and poignant, and Joshua—kind, hardworking, and selfless—is exactly the person Nash needed to begin healing.
Joshua’s devotion to his younger siblings, juggling two jobs while raising them, adds depth to his character and makes his resilience all the more admirable. The way Nash seamlessly integrates into their lives, becoming a source of comfort and strength, was heartwarming. The siblings’ immediate affection for Nash was a lovely touch, reinforcing the theme of chosen family. This book is a compelling blend of suspense, romance, and found family. I wholeheartedly recommend it—and the series—to anyone who enjoys emotionally rich storytelling with a pulse-pounding edge,

This is a great start to the new FBI Tac Team series.

It's a tale of opposite attracts with the ultimate playboy falls for a down-to-earth family man.

Similar to other of her law enforcement books, you have a great team set up, fast path, plenty of action and all topped by a romance.

Nash and Joshua do have chemistry and there is a fast case of lust when they meet when Joshua is trapped at a gang's hideout in a case of wrong place at the wrong time.

I love how he puts his sibling first, has backbone enough to not be the male damsel in distress but puts his foot down and also be intelligent enough to know when not to push.

The lust moves quickly to love, catching Nash by utterly surprise. he is actually a lot more than you may think of him on first glance.

Nash's past is revealed bit by bit but I find his swap from the king of hookups at the revolving door set-up to falling for Joshua a bit too fast and easy. I would have loved some more serious dealing with his previous way of hooking up, he calls it an addiction but it feels falling in love with Joshua just cures it.

The story does feel a bit too easy but I think it's also a great way to introduce the team members, the set-up and background. I hope we will see plenty of them back.

First in series (FBI Files Spec Ops Tac Team). Forced proximity. Single parent. Found family. Slow burn. Dual POV.

As a special agent for the FBI, Nash thrives on one night stands and working with his fellow team members. When Joshua is in the wrong place at the wrong time, Nash is assigned to protect the man, helping keep Joshua’s family safe, and quickly realizing there may be one man that could make him want to settle down.

This story starts off with immediate action and danger, introducing Joshua, a kind and dedicated man willing to help anyone in need to Nash, a former soldier that keeps everyone other than his found family at a distance to protect himself from emotional hurt. Joshua and Nash have a very whirlwind/instalove relationship over a few days filled with a quick trust bond forming and two men that fall quickly for someone they admire and feel a connection with. I found this introduction to a new series with tons of future possible main characters entertaining, Joshua and Nash were likable and sweet together, and the supporting characters were tremendous as loyal found and true family. 4.25

ALL TWISTED UP is the first book in the FBI Files (Spec. Ops. Tac Team), featuring Nash and Joshua. Nash is on the team, a bit of a playboy (I'm being polite!), while Joshua looks after his family and works two jobs. These two couldn't be any different. Trying to keep Joshua alive after he's targeted by a cartel is what unites them.

This was a page-turner, for sure. Each of the main characters in the group was interesting, and I can't wait to learn more about each of them. As for Nash and Joshua, well, there's plenty of heat between them, but feelings too. Let's just say the playboy stops playing away.

I will admit, I wasn't paying too much attention when the different cartels were mentioned. It was good enough for me to know 'a' cartel was after Joshua, and Candy's team were on hand to save the day.

A great read that I thoroughly enjoyed and absolutely recommend. Now, when's the next one out?

This is a great start to a new series. If you liked the previous series, you'll love this one too. Nash, a recon marine, works for the new FBI Spec Ops Tac Team. He loves the action and danger of his job and partying at night. Finding a life partner was not in his plans, until he meets Joshua. Joshua is a family man with children and the opposite of Nash. When they both become targets of the Mexican drug cartel, Nash does what he does best: protect and cause chaos.
The story is fast-paced and full of action and suspense. The romance develops slowly and naturally. The characters are great, very likeable and lifelike. I liked that you really get to know the main characters, their backgrounds and how they became who they are today. The story kept me on the edge of my seat, with the FBI, DEA, cartels and moles hidden within the organisation. So much happens. I read it in one sitting. And I loved the guest appearances by some of the guys from the previous series. This series is set in the same universe as Bodyguards, Death and Destruction, Blue Line, WitSec, Spy, FBI files and Trackers.

Joshua has to help a friend in trouble, he can’t say no. When it all goes sideways his family ends up in witness protection and he gets a new FBI protector named Nash.

Real family and found family take center stage in this story. Both being equally important. Joshua is raising his sisters and brother. His life centered around their well being. Nash’s family are the people he works with. Through war, tough times, and having each others backs he sees them as so much more than coworkers. He would give his life for each member of his Tac Team, knowing they would do the same for him. When danger looms they will hold the line to protect each other and the innocent.

The romance between Joshua and Nash was fast, intense, and heartfelt. The action only bringing them closer.

This author brings together different personalities so nicely. Each person has their own distinct voice but they are definitely part of the whole. She weaves older characters into a new setting seamlessly.
Good beginning for a new series.

I received an arc of this book.

Another exciting book by Patricia Logan that I loved. Joshua was so wonderful and I cringed when he went into that horrible building with his stoned friend Billy in order to protect him and landed up in the middle of a drug raid by the DEA and FBI and ended up with a target on his back. Nash was such a warrior and you knew he had a lot of pain in his life which he dealt with by his going to gay bars and picking up men, usually twinks, for sex only and never repeating it. I loved the TAC Team and how protective they were and loved their field names. Joshua's family were so wonderful and adding Garbanzo to the family was perfect. Nash's love of plants and his very opinionated cat Marvin was such a delightful surprise and when Joshua's house was attacked and they had to hide I was so worried about the puppy. I wasn't surprised to find out who the DEA mole was and it so terrifying when the safe house was attacked and Joshua was kidnapped and I felt for him when he was forced to kill the disgusting Cartel leader. Looking forward to more stories.

I loved this book. Great world building and wonderful characters. I loved both Joshua and Nash. I loved the dynamic between them and the way their relationship developed. The chemistry between them sizzled. They were opposites- Nash a playboy and never wanting to be tied down to anyone, and Joshua a family man taking care of his brother and sisters and wanted someone in his life. Yet there was connection and attraction between them that began to change Nash's viewpoint.

I absolutely loved Joshua's siblings Barbie, Pete, and Meggie. You really get a sense family, love, and trust between them. Joshua was smart and hardworking and would do anything for them, and some of my favorite scenes were of them together. Even Nash quickly grew protective of them, and they trusted him.

This story was a beautiful romance, but also fast-paced with action, suspense, and lots of danger. I was completely hooked!

This is the first story I've read by this author and I would definitely read more. 5 stars

This is book 1 in a new series by this author. The story starts with Nash going out with his friend Mickey to a bar. For some drinking dancing and more. The next day, Nash had to report into work hungover while his captain went over plans to join his task force with the DEA to take down one of the cartels. Joshua is with his friend Billy who in the late hours, wanted to see his friend to get some drugs. To protect his friend, he also went along. Forced to go into the apartment, Joshua tried to talk to them. A little while later, Joshua was trying to protect his friend as shooting started. Joshua met Nash that day as Nash protected them both. This is the start of the story of how Nash and Joshua had to go into hiding, while separating Joshua from his siblings. I loved the progression of the story with action and love between them. Cannot wait to read the next book in this series.

This was a really good start to a new series. We have brief cameos of some of the characters from other series. I had a feeling i knew who the "bad" guy was, but that didn't take away from the story. Joshua is a very sweet character who is taking care of his younger siblings while working two jobs. One night Joshua helps his friend but driving him to where he wanted to go, gets caught up in a DEA sting. Nash is a playboy, to say it nicely, and has been running through a string of one-night stands. He is on the FBI team that is supposed to help the DEA on this sting, but things don't go as planned. We watch the very real struggle of Joshua trying to protect his siblings and not running himself due to his responsibilities. The connection between Joshua and Nash was strong and what each other really needed. I can't wait for more.

A wonderful thrilling action packed book that blends action and romance beautifully. Joshua is perfection, caring and protecting his siblings, when suddenly what he thought was a simple act of kindness for a friend let him to a world of violence and fear. Suddenly he is the one needing protection and Care. Enter, Nash, the marine turn FBI agent. He also happens to be one of the biggest players in town always avoiding relationships, but suddenly thrust with protecting Joshua we see a new side of him. Of course the layers are removed slowly and that made me love him. more (love Joshua from start). These opposites are perfection for one another. Just be prepared for fast paced story with many ups and downs but love finds it way in the end. I read this one in one sitting and am so ready for book two. I did receive an ARC and leave this honest review.

Nothing makes me happier than when one of my favorite one-click authors starts a new spin-off series. Patricia Logan scored on this one. All Twisted Up is a spin-off of her Tracker Series which is a spin-off of her FBI series, which is a spin-off of her immensely popular Death and Destruction Series. You’re going to see old familiar characters pop up in any of her books but don’t let it deter you from starting with this one. And if you have read her previous series then you are for sure all in one this one.
This series revolves around an FBI Tactical Team (think SWAT on steroids) made of special forces operators from all the various US Military services. When Mr. party boy married to his team is assigned to protect a man who works two jobs to raise his siblings while they are being hunted by a dangerous Mexican cartel, sparks fly.
Don’t delay, read this

Action Packed

Patricia Logan knows how to pack a book with explosive action and high heat. This is a start of a new series of FBI brothers who all come from different military background. Nash is first up, and boy is he a player. However, the raid that plan leads to more than just catching the bad guy. Joshua is on scene. Joshua, who is the caregiver to his siblings. But trouble comes their way, and Nash and Joshua have to hide out. Although not quite a slow burn, I do love that there is a build up to their relationship. Love the mix of some of the characters from Logan's other series (but don't need to read to enjoy this story). Looking forward to the next brother and how he will get his HEA.

All Twisted Up is a great start to a new series. It’s fast paced and a good mix of action and romance. Joshua tries to help a friend and ends up in the middle of an FBI and DEA raid. When he becomes the target of a drug cartel, Nash, an FBI agent, is assigned to protect him. They fall in love as they try to stay one step ahead of the cartel. I really liked Joshua’s siblings and the way they quickly warmed up to Nash. If you are a fan of the author’s D&D and FBI Files series (which I very much am) you will enjoy the crossover of a few characters. I really loved everything about this book and can’t wait for book 2! I received a copy of this book from GRR and this is my honest opinion.

Great start to a new series

Joshua has had to take custody of his younger siblings because their family situation is bad.
He's struggling, holding down two jobs to make ends meet.
He was trying to help a friend and got caught in an FBI/DEA raid.
That's where he meets Nash, former Marine, now FBI agent.
They have great chemistry together and while Joshua would love for things to proceed forward, Nash is only interested in something temporary.
He's got his heart guarded but Joshua slowly gets under his skin.
When Joshua becomes the target of some bad people, he sends his siblings off to protection and stays with Nash to guard him.
There's lots of fast-paced action, danger, and drama.

What a brilliant start to a new series! This book delivers everything I love about Patricia’s work, high-stakes action, emotional depth, and a strong sense of brotherhood. Nash and Joshua’s story is a perfect blend of adrenaline, heat, and heart, with both men drawn together despite living completely different lives.

The pacing is relentless, the chemistry is fantastic, and the crossover with familiar faces from the shared world adds an extra layer of excitement. It’s like diving into an action movie that still manages to tug at your heartstrings. An explosive and addictive series opener — I can’t wait for book two!

I received a free arc copy and this is my honest review

This is a really promising start to a new series. I won't repeat the blurb but I really loved the dynamics between these two. Opposites attract at it's best. If your preferences are found family, action, humor, military and alphabet agencies you can't miss with any of Patricia Logan's books. Her characters are well fleshed out, memorable and unique. That includes supporting characters and you'll want to pay attention to them because each member of this newly formed international team will get a story of their own. So Joshua and Nash got their hard won HEA in this one. I can't wait to read Patsy's and Napoleon's story.

This is the first book of a new series - FBI Files- Spec Ops Tac Team but some old friends return. FBI Special Agent Nash meets Joshua in an attempt to get a drug cartel leader. Joshua is an innocent civilian raising his siblings and needs special protection from the Mexican cartel. Nash is a player who never hooks up with anyone twice but is attracted to Joshua who returns the interest. The danger only heightens the tension and appeal of each other. It's a page turner with some really steamy moments added to the constant danger. I love Patricia's law enforcement stories. I received a copy of this and this is my voluntary opinion.

Very enjoyable read. I haven't read the Trackers series, of which this off-shots - cameo appearances (which I don't mind) and spoiler on outcome of that series ..... so I just skipped those paragraphs. Playboy MC is suddenly smitten by Family Man(Brother) MC ..... I enjoyed the family/found family vibes from both sides of MC's, and I gotta admit the code names are super sweet (sic...hehehehe - couldn't resist !!). The story is a blend of action packed and romance .....and though I did enjoy the story, sometimes it wasn't as smooth in the storytelling. I will say I am keen on continuing the series....right after I get onto the previous one !!

3.5 stars

I have read almost every Patricia Logan book and I love and appreciate the instalove vibes amidst the action scenes in most other stories. However, I struggled to accept just how quickly Nash went from being promiscuous and vehemently refusing to even entertain second encounters to basically a full fledged stepdad. It was sweet and I loved how he loved the kids but I did struggle with the speed of his turnaround.

I loved the action scenes and meeting the whole team was fun. They all seemed great and I can’t wait for the rest of them to get their HEAs.

I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book.
