I love reading and writing. I'm a mother to two teens and two Siamese cats. I've got an associate degree of creative writing and am a full-time author. I write paranormal cosy mysteries with heroines who are quirky, kind, and love to right wrongs and get justice. I also love to make people laugh and give them an awesome escape, which is why I tell stories.
I loved this! It was a really cute quick Christmas cozy! Santa is a witch and I love that take. It makes sense. The only thing is this book should be somewhere else in the series. The events that occurred in book 14 haven't happened yet and I don't think she is with will yet so it belongs earlier in the series.
Such a fun short, great for series fans, but there’s definitely enough meat and background for new readers, without giving too much away.
The author sets up the mystery perfectly, and I totally wasn’t sure about one of the characters. I love it when the story unfolds without me guessing the baddie in the first chapter.
A great little story, which was part of the Christmas anthology "Christmas Crackers", unfortunately unpublished now. "Christmissing in Westerham" stars, besides Lily, Angelica and the 2 of them trying to locate a missing Santa! Yes, Santa, he's real! They travel around in search for Santa and Mrs. Claus and her "little" Elves are quite helpful, or are they? As usual you can expect a lot of laughter and hilarity and the typical Lily-ism way of solving a mystery! An absolute must read if you love everything Westerham!
While shopping for Christmas gifts, Lily sees a woman magicking many more gifts out of the store than a family could use in several generations. She confronts the shoplifter. She is stunned by the story told during questioning. That causes a call to her boss, Angelica, and they sort through clues that help solve the crimes. There are more crimes than shoplifting involved. Sorry, folks, but I don't give away plot line and characters when those are likely to dull your excitement at discovering the full extent of the crimes involved.
Read this one out of sequence. Interesting twist to Santa, his wife and the elves that work for them. This time it is Lily and Angelica who are the ones investigating the crime and trying to save Santa. Good plot.
This was an interesting cozy mystery. It was not my favorite because a few things seemed out of place. Like in the last book she found out what had happened to her parents. Yet it was an ok story.
Saving Santa, Mrs. Clause and an Elf named Sven? All in a days work for a Lily and Ma’am! I can’t believe they made a bad elf and they really could have used B’s healing magic in this one!
