Very Knotty Valentine

Her Knotty Beta: A Sapphic Omegaverse Valentine's Romance

Rate this book
A little hacking, a little deception, a slight lack of consent… that never hurt anyone, right?

My plan was coming together all thanks to Alpha Net and their perfectly timed debut. Their walls were easy to get behind, faking an Omega profile and requesting an Alpha’s services for my nonexistent heat.

After all the preparation was complete, the time had finally come. I was matched, and they were on their way.

Maybe I wouldn’t have come this far if other Alphas hadn’t brushed me off for being a knot desiring Beta. Maybe regret wouldn’t be filling my head as I looked down at Suki. Maybe I could find a way to make her forget, to restart this meet and greet with more pizzazz and trust.

But I knew it was too late for that.

So I would take what I wanted, a perfect combination of pain and pleasure, and in the end, I would suffer whatever consequences came my way.

Because I got what I wanted, something I never thought possible, even for a few knotty minutes.

Her Knotty Beta is a part of the A Very Knotty Valentine series of novellas, featuring female Alphas and the newly released heat companion locator app, Alpha Net. All CWs can be found at sullynshaw.com.

Duel 1st Person POV. 4🌟 3🌶️. 67 pages
1 long depraved spice scene

Like the rest of the Very Knotty Valentine series, this little novella was short and deliciously spicy, unlike the other three it was slightly more depraved.

Her Knotty Beta follows Teddy a slightly unhinged Beta who concocts a plan to deceive an Alpha through the AlphaNet app into thinking she is an omega. Said Alpha is Suki a calm and soft Alpha with a CNC kink and depraved needs. Once Teddy’s plan is in motion she soon realises that Suki is just as unhinged as she is and the two hit it off.

The story is filled with unhinged delight, drugging and a scene that borders on NonCon. While I did enjoy this delightful little nugget and I can get down with discussed CNC, DubCon or NonCon really isn’t my bag at all, but I know others will love everything about it. I did however thoroughly enjoy the depravity and chemistry that these two characters shared, made for an interesting read!

Again if you’re an omegaverse fan and want something short, depraved and deliciously spicy give Her Knotty Beta a read. You won’t be disappointed!

Her Knotty Beta: A Very Knotty Valentine Novella by Sullyn Shaw is a sapphic omegaverse with some twists. Teddy is a beta that has always desired to be knotted by an Alpha, however they all refuse. So she takes things into her own hands by pretending to be an omega in heat and joining a site that matches alphas and omegas. Suki is a female alpha who enjoys CNC and helping others. Will Suki finally make Teddy's dream come true or will things fall apart before they begin?
I definitely enjoyed this novella. It was fast-paced yet didn't have a rushed feel or like things were left out to shorten the story. Definitely a fast-burn, readers are not left waiting to get to the good part. I liked how Shaw found a way to combine Teddy's trick yet still keep the consent aspect with Suki's love of CNC. This story was a combo of spicy and sweet and shows how sometimes what people desire doesn't align with what is typically expected of them, I'm sure many people can relate to this aspect.
If you enjoy omegaverses, spice, FF, and women who are a little unhinged and take what they want then this novella is for you. If this story is anything to go by I plan to check out the rest of the novella in this series.

Beta who pretends to be an Omega

I loved this story because Suki is an Alpha who is willing to help Omegas with their heats, and when she matches with Teddy, she is immediately accepting.
Teddy was a Beta who was using Sukis consensual CNC as a way to get her way, the knot she craved. Suki immediately suspects something when she meets her, but goes along with it.
It turns out they are a scent match and Suki makes Teddy turn off the scent she was using to mask her natural scent. The story was well written and had an HEA.

I absolutely love an Omegaverse story that breaks the mold. This author already has some unique takes on designations and abilities in general but this set up was something I have never read before. It isn’t easy to describe without giving major spoilers but trust me when I say it is very interesting and super spicy. Even though it is a novella there is character and relationship development to go along with the steam. The ending is an HEA and the epilogue is super cute!

Overall:
This is a FF Omegaverse romance Novella. It is very short and very spicy. We have Suki who is a Alpha and Teddy who is a unhinged Beta pretending to be a Omega. I actually loved this book, it was a quick read and very enjoyable.

I loved how Suki did not care that Teddy lied and is a beta.

If you enjoy a fast 1 hour read with more spice then plot and enjoy FF relations then pick up this book.

Honestly, when reading this good I got confused mainly because of the designations within this book. I felt they weren’t very straightforward. I understand and can see where the story was going, but honestly, with the confusion, it wasn’t my favorite. It was still a good read though.

Interesting take on Con/NonCon play in Omegaverse. I thought that Suki and Teddy had chemistry and the story was a spicy quick read.

Loved it

Super cute with a knotty spicy scene. Love the take on a beta and an alpha that’s not your typical. Worth multiple quick reads.
