She thought she’d escaped. He made sure she never would.
After a brutal attack leaves Ayla bleeding out, she wakes in a gilded cage high above the glittering city of Hong Kong, her life bound to the very man she fears most. Corbin saved her with blood and magic, but his price is far from mercy.
Her world narrows to the walls of his penthouse. Every look, every touch, every command reminds her she isn’t free—she’s his. And the more she resists, the more determined he becomes to break her.
Dangerous games played in the shadows. A playroom where pain and pleasure blur. A master who sees every flinch, every tremble… and feeds on it.
Ayla swears she hates him. Her body tells another story. And Corbin? He’ll never let his trophy go.
This filled the space I needed it to. The writing was well done. It’s dark and had me hooked from the start. I devoured this so quickly and it felt really good to read 10/10 would recommend and it feels reread worthy!
