Double yuck. The date rape plot continues and it's even worse when Sae is dropped into the lap of a pervert. This manga is going downhill and I had forgotten how horrible these circumstances were for these high schoolers. I don't think these plots would fly so well if they were written today. I just need to finish this manga completely so I know which shoujo romances to avoid in the future. Miwa Ueda: please spend as much time on your writing as you do in your artwork. I beg you with all my weeaboo heart.

It's hard to think of the "good guys" of a story as good guys when they behave exactly like the "villain" does, down to the date rape drugs. Yep, it's time for another content warning! The presentation of kink culture is nowhere near sympathetic, either.
I like the scene where Sae deliberately goes flat to drift to earth like a piece of paper--after hanging by her ankle on a bungee cord, so she can take a photo of Momo through a hotel window (!!)--then pops right back into three dimensions once she lands. Things like this make it much easier to just go along with this roller coaster ride and not take things too seriously.

I was expecting the dumb ass model to confess he hadn’t done it?! Like wtf man? Just lie to Sae and say you did the deed without actually doing it!!!!! Plus Sae is sexually abusing Toji as well!!! Like how can he accept that? This series is messed up!! Plus the way they deal with the trauma is unacceptable!!! Momo literally thinks ahe is worthless because of something she wasn’t responsible of!!! And she wants to die because some dumbass who can’t stand for himself doesn’t love her anymore?! Wtf?!!

I had to rate it one lower due to the absolutely stupid revenge plot. Sae is with Goro but it's just not enough, she has convinced him to help her take down enemy number one Momo. And Goro is so desperate for Sae's affection he agrees to it. Momo is naked in Goro's bed at a hotel and he claims he gave her exactly what she wanted. She notices she's not in pain and there's no blood so figures her virginity is in tact. (It told you this whole plot point is dumb and awkward). Definitely a 16+ rating would be more appropriate than the currently rated 13+. Kiley and the school nurse saves Momo along with Toji from further meddling with Sae. Momo can't remember anything other than Sae handing her a hot tea. The gang finds out that Sae drugged Momo on purpose to win over Toji. Luckily he didn't fall for her fake act of dressing as Momo and wearing a wig to try and sleep with him. Kiley convinces Toji and Momo that beating Sae up won't help they must exact...revenge! So they are going to try and convince her Toji is interested in her and than drug her and drop her off in a hotel with a fake pervert...only to drop her off with a real pervert. That's it. So begins the stupidity of the series...I mean, what high schoolers would have someone date raped to get her man to break up with her? what high schoolers would try to have someone pretend to rape someone to scare them straight? Miwa Ueda, what were you smoking?!?

Story: The perfect thing about this series is that it is a potential real life situation. There is bullying from the other people at school and misunderstandings set into a high school setting. This series is absolutely perfect for someone to read when they are that age and to realize that many people can make mistakes or take something the wrong way, especially in regards to relationships. There is a quite potent love triangle between Momo, a girl that gets bullied by others, Kairi (Kiley), a flirt of a guy, and Toji, a guy that is easily blindsided. It does not help anything that there is the slightly evil character of Sae that is always trying to get in Momo's way.
Drawing Style: One of my favorite things about the art style of Miwa UEDA is that she changes up the characters. Especially Momo, she always wears different clothing and has a different style of hair that is rarely seen in anime or manga.
Characters: The characters are highly in depth and developed throughout the series. They are all multi-dimensional with underlying reasons for how they come across and serious back stories that add to the series.
Overall: This is one of my favorite series by far, exceeding all of my previous expectations and blowing me away with the quality of production.

Only 2 stars for this one, because I really didn't like the route the storyline is taking... I really object to the (lack of) morality in this volume.
I will read the next volume, hoping the author redeems herself, because I really liked the previous instalments in this series...

Trigger Warning for sexual assault, drugging, rape
This volume is so tasteless as Momo and Toji get back at Sae by doing to her with she did to Momo. I'm mad that its going to continue into volume 7. I am glad that Toji, at least, didn't blame Momo for what happened to her but man. That melodramatic scene at the train is just too much.
Please tread lightly into this series. There are some tasteless moments that happen to Momo and Sae. There is a consensus that Momo was raped by Sae's model boyfriend and that Momo decides to get revenge by doing the same.

I’m just disgusted and disappointed with this and the previous volumes’ storylines. I remember loving the anime so much as a kid but all of the fucked up situations must have not registered how serious they are and not normal nor entertaining they are. I don’t think I can make myself continue with this manga which is such a bummer as the art is so beautiful.

Hodnotím 62% Jazyk: Aj
Moc pěkná kresba, která se s každým volumkem zlepšovala. Jen se mi zdálo, že se někde v polovině změnily boty a trochu školní uniforma. Ale to je jen takový malý detail.
Zajímalo by mě, co měly naznačovat ty kresby na konci každé kapitoly. Momo na nich vypadala jako modelka, díky tomu vkusnému a draze vypadajícímu oblečení. Zprvu jsem si myslela, že to mají být nápovědy o tom, co se bude dít dál, ale vyšlo najevo, že s příběhem nijak nesouvisí. Což ze začátku vůbec nebylo jasná, takže mě to několik volumek hrozně mátlo.
Hlavní hrdinku Momo jsem ze začátku měla poměrně ráda, ale postupně se moje sympatie k ní pomalu mizely. Avšak mizely jen po krátkou dobu a můj vztah k ní byl stále mírně pozitivní. Obdivovala jsem ji za některá z jejich rozhodnutích a za to, jak zvládala nátlak od okolí. Někdy od čtvrtiny příběhu jsem ji najednou nechápala, dokonce jsem se nemohla dobrat k tomu, abych jí odpustila její činy, přestože tam byla zmínka o tom, že jí samotné přijde její chování divné.
Sae jsem nesnášela. Ze začátku to měla podle mě autorka v úmyslu, pak její chování začala omlouvat a my jsme jí měli odpustit. Pořád ale dělala špatné věci, díky kterým jsem ji nesnášela čím dál více. Úplně na konci se sice najednou chovala hrozně hezky, a dokonce pomáhala hlavní hrdince a ostatním. Dokonce i když udělala pár dobrých skutků, tak jsem jí nemohla odpustit, jelikož mi to nepřišlo uvěřitelné, aby se takhle zčistajasna změnila.
Příběh mě stále docela bavil i přesto, že tam byli krávoviny, které mě hrozně štvaly. A nepochopila jsem Momino přecházení od jednoho kluka ke druhému, protože to bylo kvůli prkotinám. Jako když se to stalo poprvé dalo se to poměrně dobře pochopit, ke všemu když to bylo i na delší dobu.
Žádnému z kluků jsem nefandila, neboť mi ani jeden nepřišel sympatický či aspoň dostačující. I když jsem asi měla radši Tojiho, jelikož to byla Momina první láska a zároveň mi to aspoň připadalo trochu opravdové.
Nečekala jsem, že tu budou i nějaké temné věci, které mě přinutí cítit znechucení nad lidstvem ( je ale fakt, že u mě to jde celkem snadno :D). Ale nevím, jestli je to plus či mínus, protože mi to nepřišlo moc uvěřitelné. Stejně jako to počáteční šikanování Momo. Ze začátku jak ji všichni nemají rádi, ale pak se najednou objeví holky, které řeknou, že za vše vždy může Sae, začnou se k ní všichni chovat hrozně mile a k Sae ošklivě. A to při tom od začátku věděli, kdo je k tomu podněcuje.
Obálky se mi nelíbí. Musím ale přiznat, že některé trochu dobře vypadají. Stále nechápu, proč tam Momo vypadá jako modelka. Myslím kvůli tomu oblečení a pózám.

Peach Girl es un manga que tiene personajes que me gustan, un guion que siempre me hace reír y un dibujo que me tiene enamorada. Por eso, se me hace muy difícil no disfrutar de los tomos de este manga. Sin embargo y pese a mi dolor, no puedo darle a este tomo 4 estrellas, es una cuestión de principios.
Este tomo tiene cosas buenas y yo personalmente lo he disfrutado, pero estoy demasiado decepcionada con las decisiones de los protagonistas y con todo el arco de los secuestros y las venganzas. Ya que lo hiciera Sae me pareció caer bajo y entrar en un terreno donde no quería estar, pero que ahora los propios protagonistas sigan con esto...lo siento, pero no lo apruebo. Sae ya era irritante y odiosa como estaba antes, no hacía falta hacerla llegar tan lejos y meterse en este tipo de asuntos, pero es que encima, que esto no vaya a terminar y que los protagonistas vuelvan otra vez a ese tema...Es demasiado.
No dejaré de leer Peach Girl por esto porque sinceramente es un manga que me gusta, pero no veo la hora de terminar ya de una vez por todas con este asunto en el que desde un principio no se debería de haber entrado.

I'm really proud of Toji for not letting his mind slip into a jealous rage, he was truly there for Momo, to comfort her when the worst happened, that's a true boyfriend right there. And how could I forget Kairi, one of the best guys out there, he's always ready and willing to back Momo up, and help in any way he can. Honestly the two of them make my heart feel so conflicted!
I must say that I wasn't expecting the whole "revenge" thing to pop up, but it's kinda funny (well until they made a stupid mistake, that I'm sure they'll fix in the next volume lol). I was also really amused by how ready Momo and Toji were to team up and beat the hell out of Sae, that's a power couple right there XD!

Everything abt this is awful. None of the actions they take are acceptable. Like how tf is date-rape okay? And then revenge date-rape???
Toji is a fool, Momo is a fool, and Sae is a devil, there’s no other way to put it.
I genuinely had hope for this manga and wished that it would redeem itself by some character development or something ANYTHING…but I’m so disappointed.
You can’t expect the art to carry when the plot is THIS bad and immature.
I’m usually not this harsh in reviews, but this just took it too far.
Toji is a fool, Momo is a fool, and Sae is a devil, there’s no other way to put it.

OMG....
The drama, again, was outrageously forced but this time, I was completely sucked back in. And I'm giving this volume a 4 star rating for one reason: THE RETURN OF KILEY!!! But I really don't like his long hair... admittedly I mix him and Sae up when they are in the same scene together because of his long hair.
Momo is too nice. Karma's a bitch and Sae needs to realize that. Let her suffer (I might be an asshole :-p )

The last volume was pretty bad with the circumstances regarding the suggested rape, however, this volume was really poor. Literary-wise, the event and aftermath were not handled well at all. Way too much humor and poor plot choices/dialogue was used in the events following the suggested assault. This was my least favorite so far of the series due to the problematic elements. As a 13 year old a lot of this would have gone way over my head.
