Shark Chutney: A Tale From A Shifting Shore

Rate this book
On 1st May 2024, a migrant worker sets out to deliver lunch—and demand justice. Hitesbhai, a farmworker from Gujarat living in Mahe, has one chance to change his fate—and that of his fellow workers. All he has to do is deliver papaya salad and shark chutney to his elusive billionaire boss before the Labour Day feast. But on a tropical island where nature is shifting and power lies at the top, this journey becomes far more dangerous and revealing.
As Mahe shifts beneath his feet, the parallel stories of a displaced shark and a centuries-old tortoise unfold—tales of survival, exile, and quiet rebellion.
Can one man’s quiet stand break the cycle of silence and reshape a fractured world?
