Pledged To Him 8: An Unconventional Romance

Rate this book
With his nemesis in the rear-view mirror at long last, the list of obstacles separating Jackson Avery from his dream life finally seems surmountable. As the semester draws to a close, Jack's thoughts turn to the future, and the life he's planning to build with the beautiful coeds who've come to share his heart.

But now that a night of passion has shattered the boundaries between Jack and the one person who was never supposed to be part of that life, his unconventional relationship has gone from complicated to almost catastrophic. What Jack and his women have built in Stillwell is nearly perfect, but can it survive his transition back to the real world?

Damn

Another great read. Things are starting to untangle, and then Jack goes from the frying pan straight to the fire! Can't wait for the next book!

Socks for Christmas level disappointment

Does the author REALLY think this is an equitable resolution of the crap with Elizabeth and her son?!? Seriously after they both commit major felonies, this is the resolution we get? Acting like what she actually gets in trouble for is worse than what they did?!? What she gets in trouble for would be smoothed over quickly, but the SA, revenge porn, and such is all just forgotten!

The relationships and such are great and I’m curious to see how things keeps going, but the resolution to everything else, including with the school and the previous knowledge coming out, is worse than being a kid and only getting socks for Christmas. Overwhelmingly disappointing and lacks any catharsis.

Beautifully written and explored

The author does an excellent job of expanding the characters relationships with each other. In addition, the smooth way the author eliminated the problems with Ms. Baines was artfully handled. It was starting to feel that this was going to be the last book in this series - so glad I was wrong about that. The new crisis developed in the last chapter was on point. Looking very forward to Book 9 in this series and hopefully many more after that.

So Good!

Wow! What an ending that was! I’m going to need the next book quick, because that is going to be one interesting conversation! This series never disappoints and I’m loving the characters we have.

Once, twice, three times a lady

This story is progressing very nicely between the escapades that Jack and his harem is having and the minor to major emergencies that keep springing up everywhere. Just when you think it's time to breathe, bang, pow!

A follow up that continues to keep your interest

Each story continues where the last leaves off. The end of this story leads to the next involving Jack boss Daniel Ramsey and Jack's relationship with his bosses daughter.
