Keta Diablo lives in the Midwest part of the United States on six acres of gorgeous woodland. When she isn't writing or gardening she loves to commune with nature. A pair of barn owls returns to the property every year to birth their young and show them off in the high branches of the oak trees. Nothing more adorable than these white fluffy babies with heart-shaped faces. A lifelong animal lover, Keta devotes her time and support to the local animal shelter. No matter what others thought, Rory's heart held true to the fact that Dawson was still alive. The trip from beginning to the very end of this book held me captive and made me want for more. I'm so impressed with the emotion that the author was able to pull from me. Each twist, though some were expected, gripped my heart and pulled emotion from me I wasn't expecting to have such an impact. I even cried at the very end at the happily ever after.

Thank you, Keta for giving me everything I expected from you and more. I can't wait for book three.

Second chance romance, falling in love all over again.
A story that is a follow-up to Sky Tinted Water. The continuation in the life of Rory and Dawson is met with tragedy. I just loved Dawson, he is such a great hero, a real stand up guy. Rory is a strong and independent character and especially from the time period where women are expected to fall in line with tradition. And she is having none of that.
The plot starts right off with loss, and a trauma that builds to give it a good foundation. Both Rory and Dawson have a good relationship, good communication, and no secrets.
Dawson who is loyal to his country enlisted in the army, but he also sympathized with the plight of the Indians, which made his assignment to track them down difficult. But this story has a different enemy this time, internal demons. 
Rory’s family try to get her to move on but with strong family bonds, that strength a family shares in times of grief is what helps Rory through the toughest of times. Regardless of joy or tragedy the sun cones up, day after day, year after year.
A sweet renewal of love that just brought tears to my eyes. Wonderful story and interesting bits of history in the time of the civil war.

Sky Dance picks up where Sky Tinted Water ends. Rory is now taking care of the baby while Dawson goes back to the unit and fighting.

The dreams Rory has, warn her that Dawson might be in trouble. Rory’s heart knows Dawson is still alive she just knows in her heart. No matter what her sister or anyone else says she knows.

I enjoyed seeing Rory and Dawson fall in love all over again after everything they have been through. Fate has a way of stepping in and making sure these two make it.

The author does an excellent job once again with the characters and the plot. The reader will keep turning the pages and be on the edge of their seat to see what happens with these two.
