This is an entertaining read about an off-limits relationship that will be tested by suspense and intrigue

Raven is a sassy, independent, self assure Masters graduate who starts to work for Hunter, the man she has crushed since she was a teenager. He is the rich, older, grumpy and controlled CEO and her father's best friend. His security firm is at the center of this story, as she starts being targeted while she works/. When he protects her from the enemy and end up in a one room/one bed situation, their attraction explodes into passion that will later manifest in a pregnancy.
He is taken with her, and as he falls deeper for her, he will fight against the world, her ex, her father, and his company to keep her with him.

I wanted to love this book as much as I loved "Nanny for the Silver Fox Surgeon," but I was left so confused with what was happening and the timeline. And some details felt like they were never resolved.

Raven and Hunter were a great team but their relationship felt like they were moving forward then having the same talk about moving forward again.

For me, this has the potential to be a fantastic read with a little more clarification.

Raven and Hunter set my book on fire lol!!! The forbidden aspect of this book made it extra spicy. Raven is all sunshine and sass an she just blows Hunter away. Do these two get an HEA despite the age gap and him being her fathers best friend? Loved all the drama and especially the smexy times.

This book starts with definite chemistry between characters that seems to fizzle out with danger. The cause of the danger is a surprise and the conclusion of this book is satisfying.

This is just my personal opinion, but Rylee is a 10/10-star author. When you read this romance book you will see why I feel that way because she’s become a favorite author of mine. So, add this well written romance book to your reading list and let the characters swoon you.

Paige Turner with lots of suspense. Everyone loves a good age-gap, especially one that includes babies, right? A little on the long side but well-rounded.

600 Pages of Blah

Very disappointing. Backstories are never explained. The title is very deceptive as to what really goes on. The villains are caught but never seen or heard from. The motives are disjointed. Very repetitive dialogue. Will not buy this author again.

You'll love Raven and Hunter's story. Age gap at its best and the fact that she's the daughter of his best friend definitely makes the story more interesting. He's a grumpy, wealthy owner of a major security company and definitely not looking to get serious with anyone. Romantic suspense that you can't put down and a page-turner. A night of danger and they're forced to share a bed with plenty of steam. Who inside of his company is after her? Who has betrayed him? Months of danger, seclusion in safe houses. This book will have you on the edge of your seat and you won't be able to put it down. Their chemistry is explosive and the book's detail about the stalker's actions is amazing. An ex from hell and a family member's betrayal add to the angst. The characters are well developed and complex. An amazing thriller with an HEA, no cliffhanger and a great epilogue.
