I wasn't sure this one was going to redeem itself for me. By chapter 2, I felt sure the Hero was couldn't go any lower, nor bounce back. However, she didn't seem to feel the same way about the incident, and fell for him relatively quickly. Our heroines mindset allowed me to forgive the Hero, and when his J/P traits came out, I was all in for him. There were some timing issues that bothered me within the writing, where the timeline was confusing, but otherwise, it was an okay story. I think I would give the other books in the series a try, I don't see how they would tie to this one, as there weren't really any side characters, at least not any that would make good main characters.
