Rodriguez has established himself as the Seattle Puckaneers' most charming player.

When pretending becomes impossible, they'll have to is love worth the risk when everything feels too good to be true?
I accidentally clicked that I was an ACR, but I’m a beta reader. I don’t know how to change that but nevermind😄 Just when I thought no one could possibly outdo Brody, who was definitely my favorite throughout the entire series, Rodriguez appeared and proved me wrong. Without any exaggeration, Rodriguez is book boyfriend number one, and it will be very hard for anyone else to top him. The way he actively takes care of Juju is everything. While reading the book, I thought several times that Juliette didn’t deserve him and wondered how she could be so cold toward him when he was trying to get to know her. In the end, I forgave her too :)
What I maybe missed a little in the book was a deeper background to Juliette’s stiffness. Okay, she’s probably just like that by nature, but at the beginning I got the impression that she became that way because of her parents’ attitude toward her. I had a prejudice against them, but in the end they turned out to be completely likable while reading the book, and I didn’t see a major problem in the way they treated her. I would just have liked that part to be described a bit differently or in more detail.
The rest of the book completely swept me off my feet. Finally, I have to mention how much I liked that their physical relationship didn’t happen too quickly or without much thought, but was built very slowly and gradually… a true slow burn :) Tisha, you write beautifully, and I’m eagerly looking forward to the next books.
beta read 💜 Thank you Tisha, for letting me see all the steps of Rodriguez and Juliette. For dedicating this to me, and for creating the perfect love story for these characters. I may have messed up your og plan, but I think it turned out perfect 🥹
💜 golden retriever x black cat ✨ friends to lovers 💜 fake dating ✨ hockey player x figure skater 💜 forced proximity ✨ only one bed
Rodriguez is determined to break down Juliette’s walls and show her how she deserves to be loved. He loves her out loud, in front of everyone, constantly doing the little things to make her smile. He’s an all five love languages type guy, who’s so down bad for the black cat figure skater. But she’s been hurt before and no one has ever made her feel this way before, it’s special. Maybe falling for the golden retriever hockey player isn’t a bad idea after all.
I love RoRo and JuJu so much, these two will forever hold a special place in my heart. Rodriguez is the perfect book boyfriend, I’ll be thinking about him everyday for the rest of my life. If I could reincarnate anyone it would be him, sorry Juju.
The boys group chat will forever make me laugh out loud, and there are some iconic lines in this one 🤣
