Truth
The love, lust, and hunger for power and control leads one to believe that absolution comes with grace. No matter the physical allure and desire, A love so deep doesn't forget or forgive.
This love story didn't end in HEA, it ended with sacrifice and steadiness.
This was messy in the way it needed to be. The heat and sex were understated but very clear. I like the truth but prefer the love. Still a well written story just not what I love.

It’s a top-shelf pour of blood and silk, sex used like a weapon, grief turned into gasoline, and a widow who takes her crown without blinking. A ruthless, lingering hit I’d call 4.8/5, my only criticism is I would have loved to have seen the Marko's younger brother earlier in the story. but with this being a short story I aint mad at all hone. LOVE IT!!!

Dressed in all black like the Omen!
This book here was POWERFUL!!!!!! He and rest of them underestimated HER, Donna, QUEEN, the end all be all. And it was all payed for in Blood. I’m so proud of her, she stood her ground. She remembered who the heck she is and TAPPED into it! Such a Boss Queen. Great story, bravo 🙌

The Don!
A tale of love, obsession, betrayal and vengeance all within a very complex short story. Brilliantly crafted by the writer. One character played chess, the other played Russian roulette. We learn a lot about the two main characters, Julian and Dominique in said short story. I loved the ending. 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾

This series just keeps getting better and better. Unflinching, sexy, and ruthless. It honors the series promise, last night decides everything, and lets a Black heroine claim the crown without apology. I’d one-click the next installment off the strength of this ending alone.
