A LitRPG Progression Sci-fi Epic. Oliver was just a kid when the bombs fell in Seoul, taking half of his body and his whole family. He spent the next hundred years frozen, recovering from the damage.
But the world he wakes up to is entirely different. Rangers now stand as the empire’s shield, and the war against the Orks is pushing the New Earth Army to its limit.
Now that he’s turning fifteen, it’s his time to enlist… and maybe even become a Ranger himself.
Pacing is terrible. You're telling me that people are going to be trained to fight alien Invaders in 3 months? Having people be nameless could be understandable if the records were wiped out of their names, but only one city was destroyed in the bombing. You're saying that the bombings happened around this time period? Absolutely no way that a US citizen visiting Seoul would not have their information somewhere accessible. Power scaling is f****** weird too. You're trying to not be a common soldier so you need to be a ranger but the starting power levels of everyone is pawn? Captains who have fought in multiple Wars are only bishops? Add in a smidge of issues of basic sentence structure and grammar and you've got this book. I'm still going to read book 2 but probably won't get farther than that.
