Amplified

I controlled everything. Then she walked in and flipped the script.

PR was my territory—my safety net, my identity.
Until I lost my wife and daughter, and control became survival.

Moving forward wasn’t the plan, but neither was feeling again.
Until a glasses-wearing firecracker made my heart remember how to beat.

Recoil needs a comeback, and I need to learn to let go.
Getting under her skin is the storm I choose. Even that chaos feels better than silence.
If only for a moment.

She’s relentless. I’m damaged. But together, we’re everything.
Some battles start with surrender, but ours can only be amplified by the wreckage.

From USA Today Bestselling Author K E Osborn comes a rockstar romance that turns grief into rhythm and rivalry into desire. Amplified is an enemies-to-lovers, grumpy/sunshine story about finding harmony in chaos, and discovering that sometimes, the most beautiful music is born from the storm because love hits harder than any beat.

Lately I seem to be having a “Rocker” phase and as I have always a thing for “damaged” characters what would be the more obvious than going for a damaged rocker #figures
Well I came across the “Recoil” series by K.E. Osborn. And while I was aiming to read only “Plucker” because of its plotline – I was told it would be best to read “Pick” before, so I did just that and here are a few of my thoughts.
When I started reading I felt thrown right into the middle of an already existing world. While this series starts with “Pick” it seems that there are many characters appearing that I am supposed to know (I am only assuming as it feels like that), while that is kind of nice usually as it mostly triggers my wish to read the previous books, it was a little sidetracking in this case. The plotlines connect other books of this author like crossovers do on TV.
The author has an unusual writing style I think, a huge part of the stories is told from the PoV of the male characters before the females join in their thoughts and actions. And her males are showing their emotions very openly which I also different from the mainstream and needed some getting used to.
I liked the complexity of the characters in both “Pick” and “Plucker” and while the storyline in the books is different the author did the same good work on their backgrounds as both books feel solid once you get used the different / non mainstream way the author writes.

I have been waiting for Ryan's story for what seems like forever, and it's only been since I read Pick. But I've always had a thing for his tortured soul self. KE Osborn didn't disappoint one bit! Once again, her brilliant, and highly addictive writing style shone through perfectly, as I couldn't turn the pages quickly enough. And then when I was done, I wanted to go back to the beginning and start it all over again. Ryan is the rocker that I seem to have moved up to favorite on my list of mouth worthy rockers. He deals with a ton of past baggage that give him serious nightmares, which sends him on his way to the curse of new rockers that party too hard. The amazing new PA, Tillie is the beautiful light to his darkness, although neither would admit that fact! This story has serious depth, and tons of angst, as I may or may not have had leaky eyes on more than one occasion. F-bomb worthy twists and turns had me screaming loudly as secrets are revealed that I never saw coming. Let me not forget to mention the fiery flames of sexy scene goodness to destroy panties, and of course, some very well placed humor that gave me a break from the gut wrenching emotions to laugh. I do believe one of my very favorite parts is how she weaves past characters into this series, and I get all kinds of fan girl gushing while reading, as I will NEVER forget any earlier favorites. Although newer, this is shaping up as another EPIC series from this author, and so I'm again waiting impatiently for the next masterpiece to come out! HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Oh I love Rockers especially damaged Rockers.
Ryan has become one of my favorites! He was a big man-child when Tillie came and took his position he threw fits, pulled pranks to scare her off and pouted. It was hilarious! Another thing I loved about him was he didn't have Rock God body and he had to work for one. Most fictional rockers are perfect and I loved Ryan for his imperfections.
When Tillie comes on the seen they walk that fine line of love and hate. Enemy to lovers stories are always fun but the comedy in this one was the best part. How about couples yoga for an out of shape rocker and his archenemy going live on Facebook. That's a recipe for disaster!!!
I really loved the rocky road this couple traveled. Tillie had a level of trust that was unbelievable and she put up with a lot of crap from Ryan. His guilt made him push her away. It was sad he was just so broken and was afraid to let her fix him.
Loving this series and cannot wait to read the next one. Nate has a story to tell!!!

Plucker is the second title in the Recoil Rock series. It's best to have read Pick prior to reading Plucker as although the story is with a new hero and heroine, the story really continues and the previous couple Lunar and Danger appear frequently within this story line. This is a perfect story for anyone who loves a damaged hero, a rocker romance or an enemies to lovers trope.

Plucker is Ryan Hunter and Tillie Marks' story. Ryan is a damaged hero who is haunted by his past. Ryan is thrown for a loop when Tillie walks into his life and takes over his PR role within the band and reveals all his insecurities and vulnerabilities without even trying.

Tillie is endearing, charming, sweet, smart, sassy and tenacious in her role as Recoils PR manager.

Both these characters are complex and their story is an enemies to lovers trope. Throughout Plucker you go on a roller coaster ride of emotional ups and downs as this pair discover just how perfect a pairing they are and how much they complement each other.

I absolutely loved their banter and the antics that they engage in with throughout the story line, on several occasions I was laughing out loud. Their story is heartfelt and engaging and entertaining. Another well written book from Ms Osborn and I look forward to reading the next title in this series.

This book was given to me for an honest review.

4.5 stars

Ryan stole my heart in the first book. He was the one that I felt held the group together while Danger was out finding himself, or what I call it. He wanted this group to stay together and I don't think the other guys in this book would have given Danger another chance if not for Ryan. At the end of the first book it told a bit of his story. His story was not pretty, nor was it one that I expected. He was the one that I thought had it all together, but no there is a deep story behind him. Thats what I love, not knowing what to expect and being in awe with a man that you never thought you would. With that being said, I truly loved his story. I liked it better than the first book. Ryan had so much more depth in his story line that it only added to this series. I don't think he is a rocker that you instantly fall in love with, he's one that his story is what brings you to him. He isn't your idealistic man, but he becomes that at he as you read his story. Tillie is brought into this book to PR for the group and well Ryan does not like that. He tries everything to upset Tillie. Wants her to leave, but the more they fight they more they want each other. It is funny watching these two at times. Tillie is a strong woman, with a strong personality and I think that she is the best fit for Ryan. He needs feisty, sassy, unique, and someone that won't let him just slide through life. The pairing of these two was perfect for this book.

Thinking about this story I just want to say, Ryan's heartbreak is awful. I thought of this guy in the first book as the one that held everyone together, but at times in this book you can see that the group holds him together. He loves this group, but I know he has to find something that is just his. Tillie can be his, if he just lets it happen. He is going to fight it. He is going to find reasons not to love her, but in the end they are going to push themselves and protect each other, even when they are trying not to. I really saw the struggle between the two of them and that makes this story even better.

So far I have to say, I loved this story. I like seeing how love can blossom no matter how hard you try to avoid it but it seems to find you anyways. The author tells a great story and it keeps you interested all the way through the story. There is a lot of funny situations, but also so many serious ones too. It is so worth the read. Nate's story is next. He's not my favorite but how the book ended makes me want to know more.

Angels are exploring different genres this year, and one of the new genres we are delving into is Rock Star Romances. We are pleased to have started with this series, which we found to be excellent overall.

The characters in the series were well-developed and engaging. This particular story focuses on Ryan and Tillie's romantic adventure. Ryan has been the band's PR person for sometime but Tillie has now become Recoil's newest PR person, who was hired on to help them grow as a band. Ryan does not like this turn of event not one bit.

The storyline was captivating, evoking both laughter and tears. Our hearts went out to Ryan and the turmoil he faced in his past. It seems the chip that was on his shoulder has grown over time. Although he is not always seen in the best of light, it stems from his fears and heartache, and his protective nature.

Tillie's spirited nature challenges Ryan, never letting him get away with anything. Tillie and Ryan's journey to finding love gave us many laughs; their banter was priceless, and Ryan's pranks, although they seemed harmless at first glance, had ramifications. You could also look at Ryan's childish actions as foreplay, or even something more; could it be he was just protecting himself from future heartache and pain?

From the moment we met Tillie, we knew we were going to love her. Tillie has an amazing personality. She is kind, driven, feisty, and at the top of her game, where her job is concerned, she fits right in with the dynamic of the Recoil team. We loved her, although she is tough, she is not afraid to show us her vulnerability.

The initial characters were great and are a big part of every installment. As the Recoil family grows, so does their success.

We loved the chemistry between Ryan and Tillie; it was beautifully portrayed and palpable. Their journey to happiness is not without its challenges and heartaches, but it also involves moments of joy and self-discovery, healing, and newly formed friendships that will last a lifetime. Can't wait to see what happens next.

This is Ryan's story. I was intrigued with Ryan in Pick, book one and Danger's story, so I was happy to read this. This story is told from both Ryan and Tillie's POV's.

Ryan does the PR for his band Recoil. But their new manager hires a sassy, bright woman to handle it. He resents that since he has been doing the PR from the band's beginning.

"Okay, so when do we get to meet the pompous asshole who will be taking us on?" I ask....... "I believe that pompous asshole would be me, Mister Hunter.....

Needless to say, they get off on the wrong foot, but there is a connection between them from the beginning. Ryan begins with practical jokes to frustrate and annoy Tillie. Some of them made me laugh out loud, so I was disappointed when I thought their relationship moved a bit too fast.

"Day one of Ryan's yoga class and he's doing great," Tillie says as the instructor tells me the next move is called the Downward Dog. I smile pressing my ass right up high in the air, tensing my butt cheeks and letting out a massive fart. The sound resonates through the sparse room, bouncing off the walls and reverberating loudly with its harsh echo. The room falls silent as I look up expecting a horrified Tillie but she's smiling and suddenly bursts out laughing as tears glisten in her eye.

That being said, the rest of this story is both sweet and frustrating. There were times I was frustrated with both of them and at times my heart broke for them.

And Nate, Recoil's drummer who I really didn't like much (although to be fair we don't know much about him) and I didn't think I'd like his story that is coming in book 3, but I was wrong! The epilogue was quite intriguing and I will be looking forward to reading his story.

All in all, I have been enjoying this series!

Jodie's Review 4.5 Stars

Plucker is the second title in the Recoil Rock series and yes, you should go read Pick prior to starting this even though it’s a different story it’s still a continuation. This was a book that reminded why I truly love Rock star romance!! This is that damaged rock star that takes your heart on a ride, that I am broken but I can be saved story.

Plucker is Ryan and Tillie’s story, Ryan the damaged rock star who can’t forget his past, Ryan the rocker who almost broke me for other rock stars. Tillie is the woman who enters his life and takes over what was his role in the bands off stage life. Tillie forces Ryan to look at himself and face all his insecurities. Tillie is exactly what Recoil and Ryan needed. She is a character I instantly attached to. I struggled at the beginning I am not going to lie, this is slow build up but I learned quickly it was nice to have the slow build. To see the hate to lover battle take place I was full on kissing my kindle. It was a different type of roller coaster ride of emotions. That realness was refreshing to read, and to watch how right these two were for each other, I swooned. I loved the back and forth banter and they way KE wrote out their relationship in such a realistic way.

This story made me cry several times and in the same sense it had me laughing out loud. To me this was what KE does best, she just gets rock stars and how to tell their stories to your heart. I absolutely look forward to reading the next title in this series SNARE! YES, Nate’s story is coming up next for those wondering!!!

I love this series, once again we are handed another rocker to fall in love with and Ryan doesn't disappoint.
In pick we seen the joker side of him but his story is so much more. My heart broke for everything Ryan has been through. This story was fun, sexy and emotional.

Ryan and his band mates are back in America, after taking Australia by storm they are after the same success here. Ryan is not your average Rockstar, he carries a little extra weight and has just had a health scare. This on top of his managers bringing in a new PR, which essentially was his role for taking the band forward, tips him over the edge.

Tillie is ecstatic to be part of the driving force taking Recoil to new places, however she has her work cut out. Ryan is stubborn but he has met his match in Tillie. Everything he throws at her, has her just working harder to prove herself.

The job is not the only problem, They are attracted to one another and this is something that neither of them want....

Ryan has loved and lost on the most heartbreaking level. He has it all at one time but when it was cruelly torn away from him, he never really moved on. He has had his fare share of woman but commitment and serious are just something he wont do.

Tillie knows entering into any type of relationship with her employer could be career suicide.

What started out as bickering and arguments, soon turns into something so much hotter and passionate.
Their attraction is to much to fight against and soon has coming together and setting fire to the sheets. Tillie is happy to go at Ryan pace, she knows there is something in his past but when he asks her to give him time she does so with grace.
Ryan is hot and cold,he doesn't know how to deal with his past and present feelings and his secret becomes a guilt that has him throwing everything away.

Does this couple have a future?
Will Ryan come clean?
Can Tillie break down his walls?

This is the second book in Recoil Rock series, this book is about Ryan Hunter the lead guitarist for Recoil. He is a hot mess and not even music can sooth him these days even after the band gets back together and everything is really going well. He lost with nothing to really to live for being consumed by his past. He can't see past the trees to see a future for himself.

Tillie Marks enter the picture as the new PR manager and I want her gone. Ryan feels that she isn't needed that he was doing just fine handling their PR and she just comes in taking my job away. She is full for sex appeal and feisty taking everything I throw her way and dishing it back to me. She a challenge and Ryan can't handle the fact that she makes him feel again. So instead of give into it, he plans to get rid of her because he can't be around her with a past like his and his own demons he is battling everyday.

I really didn't like Ryan in the last book because he was a complete asshole and in this book we see why he was the way he was then and now. I love K E Obsorn's book. I've read them all and love them. This one doesn't disappoint. I end up really liking Ryan and feeling for him, instead of hating him like in last book. I really love when a author can take a character that people dislike and make them human and make readers love them. She did that with Ryan. I also love Tillie and she gives him it back ten fold. I loved this book and can't wait to read about the other guys in this band. Loved it, check out Recoil! One click Pick and Plucker today!

Ryan pulled at my heartstrings, vulnerable yet strong too

When KE Osborn writes a story about a rock star she definitely does it with style, panache, grit, edginess and some sizzling sex scenes. PLUCKER is the story of Ryan Hunter, who we met in PICk, and Tillie Marks, a woman hired to do Ryan's PR work for the band. This is the second in her The Recoil Rock Series and it is even better than the first. Having already read PICK and her other ttwo rock star series, I knew that this one was going to take me on yet another wild ride. I wasnt wrong.

Ryan tugged at my heartstrings the moment he had his first reaction to Tillie, when she walked into the boardroom. Here was a man who had had an experience in his past that completely shattered his life, finally feel something again, only to deny it. He couldn't like her and she certainly couldn't fall for one of "the bosses".

Emotionally, I was torn throughout this one. Twice I was reduced to tears with the love and sincerity that KE had given to her two main characters. Tragedy strikes and it makes the pair of them thinkaboout their relationship - both with differing thoughts. I laughed out extremely loudly with some of the antics and practical jokes that Ryan subjected poor Tillie to. But in true female form her reactions were simply perfect. Yoga classes now take on a whole new perspective for me - especially couples yoga. A rooftop rendezvous had me completely swooning for Ryan. I also got angry with Ryan, for the simple fact that he wouldn't divulge his past - but I could understand his reasoning behind it.

To me, this was classical KE Osborn. Writing about her amazng rock stars and the women in their lives. She certainly knows how to keep her readers on their toes too!!!! There's a couple of surprises thrown in there too - especially where Danger and Lunar are concerned. I look forward to her next book in the series, SNARE, which will be Nate's story.

KE Osborn sure knows how to write a sexy rocker. Once I started reading I couldn't put it down.

Ryan and Tillie clash at first but their attraction to each other is undeniable. Ryan is struggling with a tragedy from his past and Tillie is trying to get him to open up to her. There are more ups and down than a rollercoaster ride. We see a different side to our favourite joker rock star, and there were moments when i wanted to jump inside the book and smack him across the head and scream "no, you idiot!" but I loved every second of the journey. There's drama, comedy, action and off the charts smoking hot chemistry. and the ending leaves you begging for more!

Plucker was a great 5 star read.

The book starts with Ryan getting some very serious news about his health. He needs to change his lifestyle or else.
Tillie definitely has her hands full when she starts the new PR job for the band, Recoil. Ryan Hunter is one of the band members and he is very pissed off and is relentless on trying to get her to quit. PR for the band was his job and she took it from him. He has declared war.

There is something about Tillie that get’s to Ryan. Being around her gets him thinking more and more about his past and what he has lost. At times he pushes her away without explaining why. Will Tillie be able to get through his walls? Can they make a relationship work?

I had a love hate relationship with Ryan, he was such a Plucker at times and was absolutely cruel, by the end I loved him.I really liked the secondary characters, Lunar and Danger were my favorites. I had some LOL moments and I have to say I loved the dinner scene with the chili incident, OMG. There were all sorts of emotions during this read, I had an ugly cry moment that broke my heart. The ending was great and I love how the epilogue leads you into the next book. I can’t wait to read Snare. 1-click and get started on this great series today.

This story is emotionally gripping and sexy!

In Book 2 of "The Recoil Rockers Series" we get Ryans riveting story!

A new PR person is being hired for the band to replace Ryan and is not a happy camper. In comes Tillie, the new hire for the position and Ryan and her start the Prankwar of the year.

Regardless of all that, these two have some crazy chemistry.

You definitely want to read Book 1 first and then hurry and one-click Book 2. You won't be disappointed!

This is book two of this series, and I do suggest you read book one before reading this one, this way you aren't confused as to people and happenings that may have been mention. In book one Ryan was the happy, best friend that was there for Danger and Lunar. Well, things with the band are going great, they have now moved back to America, and have a sort of team there including a new PR person. Ryan isn't happy one bit, that was his job as well, and he feels a bit like he is being replaced.

Tillie just landed the best job ever, doing PR for Recoil is going to be amazing, until she meets Ryan, who makes it clear that she isn't needed there. With a little prank war going on, Tillie is not going to give Ryan the satisfaction of winning, she will not quit. The two have a back and forth sort of thing going, and when push comes to shove, Ryan admits that no, it's not that he doesn't like her, its that he does. But can Ryan and Tillie do this side benefit thing without their hearts getting into it? When old demons come back to haunt Ryan, will he continue to hide this from Tillie? Will they realize the feelings they have for each other, or will it be too late?

I liked this so much more than book one, there was just something about Ryan and Tillie that had me laughing at them. Favorite scene, the chili scene! This has some hot sexy times, drama, a bit of violence and a hot rocker hiding his feelings for a feisty chick. I give this 4.5 stars.

This is the story of Ryan, bassist of Recoil, and Tillie, the band's new PR rep. Ryan had been doing PR for the band, but with the band growing in popularity, their agent decided that they needed professional representation. Ryan is offended and feels let down by his band mates when they all agree to give Tillie a shot. He tries his best to sabotage Tillie, pulls pranks on her, all while fighting his attraction to her with all his might. And she gives it right back to him.

This story was very fast paced, and I loved the interaction between all characters. I loved seeing their reactions while the band's popularity was growing. And I loved Ryan's tortured soul, even though he went a little overboard towards the end when he was struggling to come to terms with what his life was compared to what it had been years before. He has a hard time opening up to Tillie, and, because of that, he ends up breaking her heart. Tillie is a solid character, she stands up to Ryan and tries her hardest to understand his inner turmoil without having all the facts from him. It almost felt too easy how she took him back at the end after he finally confessed what his issue was. But then again, the man really had been through hell, he needed it easy for a change.

It looks like Nate's story is next, and I cannot wait for it!!! I am so glad I found this series :))

Another enjoyable read from K.E. Osborn. I have been following this author's work since her MC series and have really enjoyed the ride. I loved the banter and practical jokes that occur in the beginning. My heart broke for Ryan. Don't get me wrong because he mad me angry as well but he lives with such pain in his heart. Tillie is just amazing. You really can't help but to love her. She will be there to help you and support you but she isn't a doormat. She will bite back and has a point where she says enough is enough.

The main character, Ryan, is still in a lot of emotional pain from an event that happened 9 years ago. Just when life is turning around he finds out that someone is coming in and taking over something he really enjoys. He is bound and determined to run her off no matter the feelings that he won't allow to take over. Tillie may be harder to run off than he thinks and what ensues is seriously entertaining.

Will Ryan be able to let go of his plan to run off Tillie? Will he be able to turn his life around? Will he push away those important in his life?

This is another series by K.E. Osborn that I would recommend. I truly enjoy her books and get sucked into each and every one. The characters and their stories are ones that you just can't help but get completely engrossed when reading them.

Plucker is book two in the Recoil Rock series. I would recommend reading Pick first just to get to know the characters better. This is Ryan and Tillie's story. Ryan is the guitarist and Tillie looks after the PR for the band. They were great characters and they had sizzling chemistry. The story flowed well and it was enjoyable. Liked seeing all the rocker boys and I can't wait to see who's story I get to read next.

I was lucky enough to get to read book 1 and 2 back to back, so I am all about Recoil. Anyways, not a rock or metal fan ? No big deal, it isn't very musical. The story shows a different side of the band. It shows how to the band came together as a team, organized, sold themselves and came to the US. Personally I liked this better than the usual blah blah talk about riffs and guitars.
Ryan Hunter, was the lead guitarist with a startling health problem. The entire story needed a little bit of angst related to this. Ryan was haunted, so stay with the suspense about Katie and the past. Next us Nate???

Tillie Marks has such resilience. She was abused by Ryan SO bad. He pranked her on a daily basis. Tillie was so unfazed by it, that was the light amusing side. A nice story between these two.

This is second book of the series, and I always liked Ryan in the first book, so I was glad it was his story next. I wasn't disappointed, even though there was times I wanted to smack him silly.

I loved Tillie and Ryan, they both loyal and hard working people.

Tillie is the PR now for Recoil Rock group. She is hard working, but also doesn't really have a social life. She is very hard working and loyal to the band.

Ryan is the guatarist of Recoil. He has a sad past, and he finds it hard to get over it. He doesn't believe in relationships and ever being in love again.

I really enjoyed this story. I couldn't put it down. A very emotional book. WTMO

Ryan.
Lead guitarist of the up and coming band Recoil.
They are back in the States after returning from Australia where they reformed their band.
The band is everything to Ryan.
But he is a shattered and broken man.
His nightmares haunt him.
His past is something he wants to forget.
So it's party hard, drinking and whatever comes with it.
He needs it to forget.

It's her job to get Recoil and their name out in the world, especially now they are back in the United States.
She knows she can do it.

Or will it?

Yet another perfectly, in-depth, emotionally charged novel by KE Osborn that had me completely captured. I absolutely loved it from beginning to end.
It was breathtaking, heartbreaking, deliciously sinful and everything in between.
A must read for those that love rocker boys with a vulnerable side that will leave you breathless.
You won't be disappointed.

This series just keeps getting better and better! I loved Danger and lunar but Ryan and Tillie are a close second. I swear I'll add Nate to this after book 3 lol. Anyway, what I love about this band of guys is each one brings something to the table. It makes you love them more and realize they aren't perfect. In fact, I love that author had Ryan a little on the chubby side. So many times rockers are skinny with the six pack abs, so it was great to see one on the chubby side. With Ryan, I found myself either loving or hating him.. he could be sweet when he wanted but he could also be a huge dick as well. Him and Tillie didn't get off on the right track when they first met. Granted if you knew your job as the band's PR reply was being taking away, you'd be pissed too. Think enemies to lovers when you read this book. I loved Tillie. She was a tough no nonsense type of girl. She got things done and was fast about. She knew exactly how to handle the situations that were brought her way. The only one she wasn't expecting was to fall in love with a rocker. Recoil is becoming huge on the mainstream and in the US. Fans are getting crazy for them! Tension is high and it shows believe me. Ryan hides his grieve very well but I wish he would have came clean sooner then waiting until he did. I did really love this book and all the crazy characters! Bring on Nate's book, I'm so ready!

I have been waiting for Ryan's story and boy KE Osborn did not let me down at all.

Ryan the older member of the rock band Recoil has been through his share of pain and it comes across in his music. He knows that he can never love again and he really isnt sure he wants to that is until Tillie the bands new PR director walks into his life, his bed and ultimately into his heart.

Tillie is trying to make a name for herself in her PR firm and representing Recoil is just what she needs to do that, but when she starts spending more time with Ryan as he does everything he can to get rid of her she knows there is more to him than meets the eye. Now if she can prove to him that not only she is good at her job she can help mend his heart.

KE Osborn does it again with Plucker, she takes you on an emotional turbulent ride that quite honestly I didnt want it to stop. Ms Osborn does a fantastic job balancing the pain of her characters with some lighthearted moments that her books feel real and not overly sweet or overly dark. We do get to see Danger, Lunar and the rest of the band which is fantastic and the set up for book three in the Recoil series, oh my can not wait to read what she has planned next.

All in all definitely a must read for any one who loves a great rock book series!

I received an Advanced Readers Copy of this book for a voluntary, completely honest, and non-incentivized review.

Plucker (Recoil Rock Book 2) by KE Osborne is full humor, contained sadness, scorching, and emotional. It contains a great story line - unique yet believable and will capture the reader heart and attention.

Main characters Ryan Hunter and Tillie Marks are complex, bantering competitors, and extremely attracted to each other. Ryan is hiding his pain with by playing a various range of pranks on Tillie trying to get rid of her. Tillie is feisty, strong and determined. I loved her!

I am rating Plucker (Recoil Rock Book 2) by KE Osborne 4.8 stars! Excellent read and I am looking forward to the next book in the series, Snare.

I absolutely loved this book!!!... and it picked up perfectly from the end of Pick # 1...
The band are back in the USA and things are taking off splendidly... until manager Oliver brings in a new PR person...
The chemistry between Tillie and Ryan is off the charts... but they are both in denial!!!
No spoilers so i will just recommend that you really do NEED to read this book!!!
With twists and turns that will leave you gob smacked... emotions that will rip your heart... humour that will have you giggling... and a passion that will take your breath away... this book has them all... and much more!!!
The direction and flow were spot on and the characters have each etched themselves inside my heart in their own special ways... i was up all night reading this, because i just HAD to know what was going to happen next!!!
Ms Osborn has done it again with this story... and i can't wait to discover where she plans to take the band next... whatever that journey is... it will guarantee to have you completely enthralled!!!

Ryan, the guitarist for the band Recoil, is the "normal" one of the group. Less flashy and more grounded than his band mates, is used to having his friend Danger have the spotlight. He has always done the PR for the group, and when the band's manager decides to hire an official PR person for the band, he feels like his job is being taken away. He is determined to scare Tillie, the new PR person, off and get his job back, no matter how many pranks he has to pull.

The only problem is that as much as he hates her, he is attracted to her, and isn't sure how to handle it. In addition, Tillie is excellent at her job, and the band is growing more popular by the day. Ryan eventually realizes he doesn't hate Tillie at all, but then has to decide if he wants to mix business and pleasure,

I would give this book 3.5 stars.
I liked this book much better than the first book in the series, and the teaser chapter for Nate's book, Snare, makes me want to find out what is next!

I was given this book for free in exchange for an honest review.

The second book in The Recoil Rock series is Ryan and Tillie’s story. I loved Ryan in Pick (book one) and couldn’t wait to read his story.

Ryan is a fantastic character, he has it all; personality looks and of course is part of one of the hottest up and coming rock bands “Recoil”. Tillie is a sassy lady, tough and determined to succeed. This couple clash on some many issues, some will make you laugh out loud, others may make you cringe a little, but everything they do will touch your heart. From the start you’ll be routing for them and hoping that Ryan can move on with his life and open up to Tillie. She is so patient with him, and every time he pushes she reads the situation and reacts well, she almost always gets it right!

This book has it all, great storyline, plenty of suspense, the odd psychotic fan and lots of hot and steamy scenes. The story covers all the feels; from heart-warming to heart-breaking and everything in between. Another well written book with engaging characters and believable plots, this author has certainly caught my attention with this series. Looking forward to Nate’s story next.

Massive thank you to KE Osborn for the ARC of Amplified and the rest of the Recoil series! I've been absolutely loving these rocker books.

This one follows Ryan who is one of the members in the band but has also been doing Recoil's PR since the beginning. The problem is: now that Recoil is gaining traction, their manager has decided to hire someone who is well versed in PR to help the band go that much further. It also doesn't help that he's had a recent health scare and should be focused on getting better.

In walks Tillie and Ryan can't help but feel attracted to her and he absolutely HATES that idea. But with her experience she could catapult Recoil that much further. Ryan kicks up a stink as it's his baby and she's encroaching on his territory- and he has ways to push her away.

Only those ways don't work in the way he wanted them to- Tillie manages to spin them in a positive direction despite the hurt it might cause her.

Ryan isn't able to fight his feelings for Tillie for long, but he's got something in his past he's hiding from her. Will their love be enough? Or will Ryan's past be too much for him in this new relationship?
