This was a gritty, steamy second chance romance with a dark holiday twist that really worked for me. Nick and Cheryl’s story is intense from the start, packed with regret, danger, and unresolved love that never truly faded. I loved the Vegas mafia setting and the Dickens inspired Christmas element it added emotion, reflection, and just enough hope to balance the darkness. The surprise child, the years of separation, and Nick’s fight for redemption all raise the stakes in a way that keeps the pages turning. If you enjoy dark mafia romance with strong chemistry, emotional depth, and a hard earned Christmas miracle, this is a compelling and satisfying read.

It's a fantastic, emotional, dark, second chance story that has plenty of drama, intrigue and danger. It's a story about redemption and finding love again that you thought was lost.
