“You’re being tormented? In that case, let me be the one to adore you!!”
I reincarnated as Cynthia, a wicked noblewoman from a dating sim, and now the heroine is trying to steal my fiancé. If she wants him, I’m happy to cut ties and find someone new! Oh my, perhaps the yandere character named Siraiya (the third son of a duke), who’s known for being an evil nobleman himself, would be a better match? Yes, he’s exactly what I’m looking for!
“You’re the one I want to marry!”
Will the villainess’s love save the villainous nobleman? Find out in this reverse Cinderella tale!
This is one of the most delightfully cheesy books I've read. Sure, the author struggles a bit with what "yandere" means, but she also does a great job with the reborn-in-an-otome-game trope and Siraiya is adorable.
It's a misleading title and premise. There are no yandere villains to be seen. The world building is paper thin. I was very dissapointed by the book. The author doesn't understand what yandere even means. The Male Lead is a golden retriever boyfriend. There was no obsessive yandere traits anywhere. The heroine's standards are in hell if she thinks a good boyfriend is a yandere.
It's fine for a simple low effort romance filled with cliches, but I don't reccomend it. There are better stories with nearly the same premise.
The phrase "smooth like butter" comes to mind after reading this one. Nothing fancy or off the standard formula, just a simple read with good feels.
I don't think there were really any true yandere elements in this story but then again the MC was trying to save him before going nuts so maybe it's a little bait and switch?
The story feels complete as is and I have zero interest in the sequel.
This is a fairly cute cheesy otome game-based romantic fantasy, although it started to get worse about two-thirds of the way through. There's also a few discrepancies in the plot I noticed, so I don't think the author was keeping track of all of her plot points. But still, it's a fluffy, fast read.
I absolutely love this book! I am adding it to my list of books to read again and again. These are the kind of books that I can read after a stressful day.
